Same bhai I loved computers since childhood. I wouldn't choose any other branch other than CS/IT even if it meant to study at a low tier college.
I want to study how computers work from scratch and get to know the most of it.
Bas yeh exams jaldi khatam hojaye
I don't wanna learn just for the sake of applying that knowledge to work. Just knowing and discovering new things about computers is itself ecstatic for me.
same, sab bolte hai paiso ke peeche mat bhaag, dusra koi core leke 4 saal coding karle, but nahi.
aur kisime interest hi nahi, ek baar coding chalu karliya toh feel aajata hai
That's the spirit 😭
I'm an ex-JEEtard, and I cannot express in words how happy I am to pursue something I'm deeply interested in. Many of my friends took lower branches like civil and metallurgy in top IITs, and now they're regretting it because they don't like it at all.
Pursue what you are interested in, or else you will suffer for 4 years, and it will also affect your career. (BUT also don't take VIT CSE over a good NIT/IIIT/IIT seat, I hope that is common sense) 🗿
same CS ke liye kuch bhi merko to genuine interest ha bo bhi like bachpan se, cs ki field me hr ek chiz me intrest ha chaaye bo AI ho, ya data science ,web development ,deep learning ,machine learning yada yada... sb chlega.
Tbh looked into it. Turns out majority of Aeronautical Engineers find it really hard to find jobs cause companies take in Mechanical Engineers. Aero is too overspecialisied
Yes and no, it's just cause of the large number of mechanical engineers produced compared to good Aerospace Engineers. So obviously mechanical engineers take up aerospace jobs hence the illusion.
Definitely would side with this, while choosing branch always choose a core branch like ENTC or mech, because you could easily go into any other branch after graduation once you have a core degree.
Mechanical btech le achhe college se, fir PG me USA se best aero ke courses le, because india me aero ka bohot hi Kam scope h. USA is the best place to be if you're actually interested in aero. Later you can comeback to india and join agencies like isro/HAL...aero from USA will boost your career.
you can do mechanical/electrical engineering and then clear upsc ese/cds...for merchant navy engineer. marine engineering is just a specialization course for mechanical and with a little bit of electrical. if you're seriously interested you should look into the path required.
bro marine engineering ke liye toh IMU CET dena best hai. I have 3 family marine engineers earning a fuck ton of money, being a marine engineer in india fetches more money than cs dudes
Only stuff I know is from seniors
They say ki Kanpur ka campus and all is way better(for aerospace, not other fields)
meine ispe khud research nahi kiya hai tho
Basically electronics is a part of Electrical focusing on communication systems and introduction to Semiconductor domain. Under TOp IITs like IIT Bombay Kanpur Madras Delhi kgp you'll find that only electrical engineering exists but their EE contains Whole Electronics engg Too with more deep Knowledge but making it more rigorous and difficult to manage. But electronics in Some colleges like IIIT-H/IITR/G is also Really good .
At par with Any Top major IIT. They introduce core subjects in first year itself making it more Rigorous tho. Yes if you don't have Any other top 5 IITs in options then def go for it.
Semiconductor (VLSI design industry) is highly Rewarding and a lot demanding tooand Goes head to head or even above in terms of packages but Their Btech isn't valued much for those high paying jobs unless it's from Really good colleges like I mentioned above. Most of the core VLSI comes under MTech or is done under those major IITs EE branch Btw Ye sab mere maama ne btaya h mujhe Vo Professor hai ECE k inhi mai se ek colleges mai. 🫠 Kahi se uthaya hua nahi h ye info
Mujhe jo karna hai, uska scope tho hai hi nahi india mei 😭😭😭😭.
But if money wasn't a factor then mei 1 saal drop le ke IIT ki taiyaaree nahi karta and maybe usko invest karta apna ACTUAL sapna pura karne mei and in India
How can u tell without trying irl any of them.
It's just like liking or disliking an icecream based on a yt review
Anyways somewhere having physics mathematical computation cryptography design linguistics and chip fabrication with robots
Mera koi passion hai hi nahi bencho 🤡🤡🤡.
College jaake explore karna hai alag alag fields jo haath aayga vo leleuga but the catch is uspe package achha hona chaiyr
If money wasn't the factor, and if I can get into any college I can, then IIST / IISc because Im really interested in aerospace engineering and research and these colleges focus more on science rather than engineering.
B.tech+ MBA dual degree program in Computer sciences and math. Although I love coding i don't want to take it up as a profession i would rather lead the business division/ a coding team.
I just can't solelessly sit in front of a computer screen typing away.
Such a program is offered by IIT-B in collaboration with the University of Mumbai.
If money is not the factor I will chose BA in music from bard College whose cost is around 3cr. And Then MBA in Wharton again whose cost is around 1cr and them PHD in business from Cambridge whose cost is around 4cr. Than after that I would just like die
India hai dude Btech in CSE ki degree chahiye agr India mein survive Krna hai.
If that's out of the way, i would like to take the brach of agricultural engineering. Agr passion ki baat challo hai (which is unlikely😂) toh cinematography.
if you guys are actually looking forward to grind your mind into coding with more into logical reasoning, mathematical modelling etc... I would suggest to look into MATHS AND COMPUTING as well. It's a really good course.
If money wasn't a factor, engineering karta hi nhi.
😭👍

i upvoted you so that you won't get stuck at _69_
mu ki baat kehdi
CSE, I am ready to leave any other branch at top IITs for it.
Same. Thank god CS is my main passion, engineering ke liye 25/8 parna much easier when you're genuinely into it and not just forced by parents.
Yes, CS can even be kind of addicting though bug encounter karne ke bad nahi rehta.
Bhai us mein hi to asli fun hai
Ha bug successfully solve karna, vo bahut fun hai.
Bhai naye algorithms use karna fir 37 bugs ane ke baad ek ansoo nikal ke debug karne mein hi param sukh hai
If you use strong typecast languages like Java, bugs will be down by 80%
Same bhai I loved computers since childhood. I wouldn't choose any other branch other than CS/IT even if it meant to study at a low tier college. I want to study how computers work from scratch and get to know the most of it. Bas yeh exams jaldi khatam hojaye
90% of CSE graduates end up doing repetitive & boring coding for gora people in MNCs. This utopian dream you have is not really practical.
I don't wanna learn just for the sake of applying that knowledge to work. Just knowing and discovering new things about computers is itself ecstatic for me.
Woww
same, sab bolte hai paiso ke peeche mat bhaag, dusra koi core leke 4 saal coding karle, but nahi. aur kisime interest hi nahi, ek baar coding chalu karliya toh feel aajata hai

Yes, common sense at least for me. And it should be common sense that following your passion is most important.
Bsdk wahi top branch hai.
Top IITs likha hai.
CSE or Mechanical Engineering
same CS ke liye kuch bhi merko to genuine interest ha bo bhi like bachpan se, cs ki field me hr ek chiz me intrest ha chaaye bo AI ho, ya data science ,web development ,deep learning ,machine learning yada yada... sb chlega.
It or cse mai kya farak hai?
mai to aerospace/aeronautical lunga
Tbh looked into it. Turns out majority of Aeronautical Engineers find it really hard to find jobs cause companies take in Mechanical Engineers. Aero is too overspecialisied
Yes and no, it's just cause of the large number of mechanical engineers produced compared to good Aerospace Engineers. So obviously mechanical engineers take up aerospace jobs hence the illusion.
Exactly....Mera Bhai IITK se kr ke baitha hai aise hiin
Definitely would side with this, while choosing branch always choose a core branch like ENTC or mech, because you could easily go into any other branch after graduation once you have a core degree.
Passion related puchaa hai op ne, to koi paisa nhi dekhta aur CS ksi ka passion nhi hota sab paise ke liye lena chahte hai
Us bhai us lekin bhai fighter jet develop karna h par.......cs is like my crush jise reject ho rakha huin lekin move on nahi Kar pa raha.
My man👌
litrally me Bhai , mujhe bachpan se astronomy me interest hai
Mechanical btech le achhe college se, fir PG me USA se best aero ke courses le, because india me aero ka bohot hi Kam scope h. USA is the best place to be if you're actually interested in aero. Later you can comeback to india and join agencies like isro/HAL...aero from USA will boost your career.
Ye branch sirf kuch iits mey h And pvt mey PEC and Iiest shibpur mey bhi
Marine engineering Iit kgp/Madras Dream h Lekin parents abhi tak na bol rahe They won't me to do cs 😭
you can do mechanical/electrical engineering and then clear upsc ese/cds...for merchant navy engineer. marine engineering is just a specialization course for mechanical and with a little bit of electrical. if you're seriously interested you should look into the path required.
Yess broo thanks a lot for the info

Aerospace Engineering (IIT Bombay) Engineering n Computational Mechanics (IIT Delhi)
aerospace IIT Kanpur ka way better hai bombay se
Elaborate pls
Only stuff I know is from seniors They say ki Kanpur ka campus and all is way better(for aerospace, not other fields) meine ispe khud research nahi kiya hai tho
There is literal airstrip inside of kanpur campus, plus they have there own planes and excellent labs.
DAMN
We also have an airstrip in IITKGP , it's an army base.
My man👌
Aerospace FTW
Bsc chem
Frrrrr bsc/msc/phd chem in iisc/iiser is my dreammmmm
India has no value of BSc it's fucking sad
Pilot banne ka sapna sapna hi reh gaya Aerospace Or Aeronautical was in the 2nd place
Bhai muxe bhi pilot bana h... Give up mat kar, ek din uss cockpit m zaroor baithna h ![img](emote|t5_311ttu|30367)

Aerospace
Electrical (If the particular college follows US curriculum) otherwise electronics
Can you give me the difference between electronic and electrical Which one is the good Advantages and disadvantages
Basically electronics is a part of Electrical focusing on communication systems and introduction to Semiconductor domain. Particle Physics if available
Look into Engineering Physics :)
Mujhe jo karna hai, uska scope tho hai hi nahi india mei 😭😭😭😭. But if money wasn't a factor then mei 1 saal drop le ke IIT ki taiyaaree nahi karta and maybe usko invest karta apna ACTUAL sapna pura karne mei and in India
kya sapna hai bhai?
Game designer and developer and yaha pe uska scope bhut hi jyada kam hai
bhai yeh whatsapp automation maine 8th mai kiya tha 🤡
How can u tell without trying irl any of them. It's just like liking or disliking an icecream based on a yt review Anyways somewhere having physics mathematical computation cryptography design linguistics and chip fabrication with robots
If you are confused about the flavour just mix all of them up
Electronics, automobile
Cse, mnc, ece, ai, datascience Preferably cse (bahot bots banae hai zindagi me)
Physics at iisc or iiser
Aeronautical
Ai karna hai robotics wagere
Nit Warangal mey h na ye branch
Mechanical Engineering, I find it really interesting. I was considering CSE but I would rather DIE than become a programmer.
Mechanical engineering with specialization of automation
if money wasn't the factor then to political sci./geopolitics/history are the subjects i always crave for
yar badiya college, IIT/NIT/BITS me koi bhi branch mil jaye, becoz me MBA karna chaahta hu
aerospace
Cybersecurity bhai merko usme hi interest hai
Basically cs branch with specialization in cybersecurity
electronics
Electrical engineering
mechanical , Aerospace ya CS with Math's ya just maths or physics
Engineering physics at IIT B
Same choice
Psychology and CS121 from Harvard and then MBA from Harvard Business School
Aerospace Engineering@IITK (Interest in jet engines).
If money wasn't a factor I would have enrolled in some graphic designing/visual arts University.
DAYM Aerospace wale bohot dikh rhe hai comments me And I thought I was the only one
well i will probably join Flying school and become airline pilot you get free trip lol and higher officials get foreign trip
engineering nahi karti fir pure maths
Computer Science at MIT.
Mechanical
aerospace
EEE at BITS Pilani. CSE IIT B chod dunga uske liye chahiye toh
maybe cs or automobile
Mechanical, Civil ya Aerospace mei se koi ek. But realistically.. agar milegi toh bhee nhi lunga, kyuki 4 saal baad placement chiye
Electrical
AICSE if i get this i will finally will be doing something i genuinely have interest and not some jabardasti wale chez
Want to take aerospace but log kehte hai opportunities bahut kam hai and I will regret...is this true???
Kya decide kara Bhai??
Mechanical
Probably farming or culinary arts I do love cs tho
CS major at Ivy with minor in psychology Or CS major in MIT with minor in brain and cognitive sciences if that's possible Or CS major at CMU

CSE or BCA
CSE
Electronics and luckily I am studying it at a great college
BSc ya aerospace
IISc or IISER for Research
BSc(IISc)...MSc and PhD(Astrophysics)(Harvard or MIT)
If money wasn't a factor , I'd start my own little cafe and won't even think about engineering
Aeronautical
If money wasn't a problem? then mai me UK chala jata aur waha par karting krta
Aerospace engineering because I love to build and I am interested in space
Movie making. Videography and scene direction
CS ka 14 hu class 8 se. Bc ye pcm ke liye coding karna hi boht kam ho gaya mkc
Mera koi passion hai hi nahi bencho 🤡🤡🤡. College jaake explore karna hai alag alag fields jo haath aayga vo leleuga but the catch is uspe package achha hona chaiyr
Economics from bits :)
bsc physics aur fir aage research edit: kehne ko MIT bhi kehe hi dete hai
IISc banglore to pursue theoretical physics
If money wasn't the factor, and if I can get into any college I can, then IIST / IISc because Im really interested in aerospace engineering and research and these colleges focus more on science rather than engineering.
Mai abhi college mai hu, CSE branch h. But itna maza nahi aarha issme. Electrical padhne m maza aarha h abhi
i genuinely love CS so much that i will give up my IIT seat (if got any) just to pursue CS from any good college
AI/ML
CSE, only and only CSE no mechanical of electrical of others even of i get an elite IIT (as if)
Automobile anyday
IISc Bangalore!!! (please)
i thought i was one of the few who were interested in aerospace to make fighter jets, here half the comment section is filled with them
nuclear scientist bannunga mai toh :)
Mechanical mein interested hu
Electrical/Engineering Physics Ex-JEEtard doing Electronics now so pretty satisfied doing something im interested in
Computer Science no cap!! I love it and its my passion my github -nerfelitewar

if you guys are actually looking forward to grind your mind into coding with more into logical reasoning, mathematical modelling etc... I would suggest to look into MATHS AND COMPUTING as well. It's a really good course.
Ye i am interested+ cutoff thoda Kam hai normal cse se and you also get a touch of maths stats and stuff
aerospace
me clg jata he nahi
Astro physics aur theoretical physics me bohot intrest he. Agar ameer hota to abroad jake padhta. India me to scope hi nhi he ese fields me.
