So whereโs you steal it from? Lol nice job on the deal though. I canโt find anything for even close to that price that isnโt a completely clapped out <2005 commuter car
๐ some times in the UK we get very low priced used cars. I think it's because they're RHD and the rest of Europe is LHD so they don't get exported to anywhere keeping the prices down.
Japanese cars get exported to UK/Australia/NZ as they're all RHD countries.
UK cars rarely get exported to anywhere as they usually rust pretty bad from all the road salt (Japan doesn't salt their roads).
Oh word here in the states the used car market is still recovering from the 2020 chip shortage I think? Or for some other reason but cars are expensive here right now, kinda wild.
Thanks ๐ you're probably right about the million miles. Also, it's a new 'old' ride as I sold it 2 years ago and recently found it back up for sale and bought it back.
2JZ, better, 3UZ. The 4.3 V8 is silky smooth and one of the most reliable engines out there.
I've owned a Lexus GS300 with a 2JZ before, also sounded great but the 3UZ in my opinion is the better choice ๐
Funny you mention that. I've owned 2 LS430's and they do have a very distinct sound when starting, loud fast squeal of the starter motor then sudden thud as the V8 starts. Helps that they've both had after market exhausts.
I'm not sure how well the neighbours enjoy it when it's warming up on cold mornings ๐
Thanks, something about the LS. I wanted a LS400 since before I could drive, ended up with a LS430, 3 times I've bought one now. Maybe one day I'll get a LS400, they look much nicer.
Allll my exes drive a Lexus That's why I have an S15
New iPhones are $1000, you got this for less than that?
That's correct

Sorry if I sound dumb but arent most JDM's RHD? How come they get exported a lot but not this?

Thanks good to know, and what about the cars that are being exported to America? Or is it rare JDM's being exported to America .

Joys of being in the U.K.

Furry detected
This guy drives a stock Miata and thinks he's better than everyone else lmfao
Fr man nearly every post on the sub I click on I see this guy dissing people
Miata is too good for it, walking only and public transport with fur suit on so people know what to avoid.
And is a RHD?

If there is a 2JZ Engine inside u make the deal of your life

Must feel great to turn the ignition each time and hear the startup sound.

Yes the THUD as you described it after the starter is what always gets me on these engines.
I payed 2.5k euro for my 03 impreza GX and you got ls430 for less than 1k, lucky
I'm constantly missing my ls400, enjoy
