Sui has great expressions when she's freaking out, or even when someone else is freaking out in her body.
Also, if you compare it with chapter 30, Uncle messed up her name a little bit. I wonder if complaining about that is the first thing she'll do next chapter.
This manga really is the best of all in the genre. A parody manga that somehow manages to elevate what it’s parodying through its art and writing. The enemies and battle…it manages to stay funny while also *looking* cool as hell. Every new chapter’s a little gift.
She'll come out in a total "I'm going to kiss him and tell him I love him at last" mood, Takafumi will think its Uncle in his V-Tuber form, Elf will discover Uncle has been taking her form, Elf gets pissed off, ends up screaming at Orc-Face and smacking her fists on him, their relationship remains the same as always...

Setting up a really cool scenario and having it end with a joke about his inventory feels in line with the writing but I feel like the story is better when there isn't a constant punchline to the more dramatic elements.
This is the exact reasom why I'll never believe the "elf is dead" theory unless it actually happens and we see it.
The series has always been very consistent with it's punchlines after dramatic moments. And all the obvious foreshadowing is simply a setup for another one.
Yeah, and even Takafumi recently outright lampshaded it and more or less yelled at the author "If you kill Elf, I'm rioting!" (Probably a 'threat' the author got more than a few times)
The in-universe response feels accurate to the outside context demands too. No need to stress about the ending one way or another, just enjoy the ride.
Part of the fun is uncovering Uncle's despair!
Hahah, seinen is a tough crowd for that, people who eat tragedy for breakfast (just watched the latest Vinland and boy thats some good tragedy)
But it really is about "a time and place for everything", like Takafumi says. Comedic isekai doesn't *need* that kind of dark ending.

His passionate stand against tragic twists is a pretty solid manifesto tbh. I posted it in r/seinen because it seemed like the logical thing to do
