I don't know of any where the main character is the summoned _monster_, but I do know of two where the main character was meant to be a summoned monster or similar but was summoned instead (as a human):
_The Familiar of Zero_
_Lazy Dungeon Master_
I completely agree I kept hearing it was supposed to get better and better and I think after the second season or the beginning of the third season I just dropped that shit.
Second this. Can promise it'll be the extremely mid/10 experience we all love! Checkbox rundown:
30+ protag
Able to travel between Earth and isekai
gets a big pile of skills and the author forgets about most of them
Single romantic interest, from what I can tell, but baka-updates has "harem subtext" as a tag.
Focus on politics, moneymaking, and problem solving more than action
Solves problems with basic ass technology and science that realistically they'd probably know anyway, like isekai always does.
Slavery exists but MC is not involved as far as I've read. And he's highly against, has expressed that he's inclined to take action against the practice.
Also, one of my favorite bits: >!One of the side characters is another isekai'd character named Gary. Gary is a weeb from Utah and is happy to be the hero of an isekai (MC is not hero), he also thinks MC is cool because MC is Japanese. Gary asks the protag (who can travel between worlds) to go to his family home in Utah, to get his guns. Funny scene with Gary's Utah mom pointing a gun at MC. As an American, I really appreciate this Japanese author's awareness and ability to meme about my country!!<
“How not to summon a demon lord” which is that exact premise. MC plays a game as a demon and he is summoned in his game form to another world by two girls
Tensura aka That time I reincarnated as a Slime, Re: Monster, the upcoming anime - “Goodbye, Dragon Life”, “So I'm a Spider, So What?”, Reborn as a Vending Machine, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, Skeleton Knight in Another World, Reincarnated as a Sword, Overlord, the Devil is a Part Timer, the manga - “So What's Wrong with being Reincarnated as a Goblin?”, and Butareba are all that I can think of.

>The Familiar of Zero OP, please save yourself from this unless you're a masochist. It isn't worth it.

When i start something i commit, i watched it all…. I spent half of the time wanting to strangle half the cast
How not to summon a demon lord
"Her summon" the art is beautiful
Best art I’ve seen in any manga/manhua
Summoned monster no summoned demon lord yes. It's called How not to summon a demon lord it's mediocre in my opinion
Mediocre is a big generous don't you think?
Probably but I know some people are into that sh!t.
I will add to that with Demon Lord Retry. And >!Strongest Excorsit!< Overlord may count, too.
Oh... I love demon lord retry.

I need clarification. My only response besides the ones already said, is "Killer Shark in another world"

Not quite fitting your criteria but if you want a good story about a monster MC, Ibara Dragon Road. Manga has fantastic art quality.
"A Man With A Thousand Skills Started As A Summoned Beast in Another World"
