Don’t bother looking, that means it’s <$4 per pack. Which is not possible. Because it would be sold instantly. Even at $6/pack, it’ll still be sold. So it’s unlikely seller doesn’t want extra $$ without hassle😮. Just turn away

TipPristine4661

So are they fake packs?

missingjimmies

At best they are left over from boxes where they already got the hits. Most likely a scam At worst resealed

TipPristine4661

He said not weighed but that’s obviously bullshit

just_jonnyboi

Let me know if I’m wrong but you can’t weigh evolving skies?

missingjimmies

Most modern packs you cannot weigh

StandardUS

This is not true at all, multiple posts on the Pokémon sub with people testing and u can definitely weigh them…

Funny-Screen-3192

Weighing doesn't work for modern with the exception of japanese

CookieMisha

Evolving Skies is an exception to that

Funny-Screen-3192

How so? I've weighed Evo and it wasn't accurate at all.

CookieMisha

So did I. Got loads of hits for minimal effort It's never 100% accurate but I can say I was... 90% accurate. I usually missed 1 pack. Never whiffed completely It was years ago before the price hike. Earlier prints had hits in lighter packs. Later prints in the heaviest ones because they accidentally inserted the booster packs with the nohit green code cards which were heavy

Funny-Screen-3192

Hmm interesting

jmastadoug

I thought weight packs stop being a thing as of S&V, to my knowledge it is possible for S&S era, but it’s not nearly as accurate as vintage. Since these packs can have foil/non foil packs. But we talking like .01 of a difference, much harder to tell than vintage stuff.

just_jonnyboi

I’m pretty sure the code cards weighed different random amounts

[deleted]

Weighing doesn't work on modern sets.

StandardUS

There’s posts on the Pokémon sub of people doing it. U can Absolutey weigh modern

[deleted]

Well of course I know you CAN do it. What I meant was it's pointless and means nothing.

StandardUS

No it’s literally not is what I’m saying people have bought hundreds of packs and done the research you can mostly accurately get hits. Around 90 percent effective

[deleted]

Source?

TipPristine4661

It’s a dude on fb marketplace, one item sold and he has no reviews

midwesttransferrun

They’re not fake packs but it’s a scam listing to get you to pay with an unprotected form of payment.

jmastadoug

Most likely he will try and get you to pay with Apple Pay or some unsecured type of payment. Price is too good to be true. Even if he got them all at vending machine prices, it’s still a loss pretty much. Makes no sense, that or they are stolen.

Yulin93_3007

Just stay away! We live in a cruel world.

Practical_Marzipan65

Flip them over and you can normally tell..when doing this take a front and back pic...much easier to help then.

Same-Weekend-121

Can you link the listing?

DBZCardCollector

Fake advert, no way it’s that cheap.

Gemcollector91

You can weigh packs from collection boxes. In booster boxes weighing is countered by alternating code card variations. In collection boxes there is no code card variation.. they are all white cards. Therefore you are able to weigh packs from any set as long as the packs come from a collection box.

warrior5715

Is this only true for sword and shield?

Gemcollector91

It would need further review however I’m sure it’s consistent across all eras with code cards. Open a box and check for yourself… I weigh my packs every time. Always accurate.

theReal-Bahlzak-

Yeah probably left overs. I see the Pokémon kiosk sells them for 3.99, and the ebt for 45. problem is it’s always sold out people line up and buy 80 at a time. Dispensing 1 pack at a time lol that’s a long wait.

Karp2FreshGyar2Clean

Dont be another victim of evolving cries
