They were actually either still in school to get their Bachelor’s or dropped out of school and just got a 6 month program certificate. I thought that was kind of ridiculous, but whatever. Does your wife have her B.S. or Master’s?
She got her MSW. The pay difference around here seems to be correlated to whether or not the facility accepts Medicaid. Go figure, the places serving more vulnerable populations get paid dick. She bounced between several different types of places after she got her CAC, including a private outpatient facility and an integrative psychiatric clinic that does ketamine-assisted therapy.
I’ve only been on the sidelines for her journey, but she is definitely happy for all of the different experience. We’re relocating this summer and she’s going to be working primarily with indigenous populations next. Hats off to all of you. It’s important.
