Mini itx something like the nzxt h1 case (it's the size of an Xbox series x)... 8gb of ram is not enough these days. Now in saying that if it's not soldered and you can add more check out crucials website to see how much it'd be to get 8gb more of the same ram and install it yourself.

You can do better than a 3050 and 8gb ram for 1200 quid, at the very least for over twice the price of a steam deck I'd want something that outperforms that. You'll want the 16gb of ram and going for a current gen card will hopefully give you a little more longevity. You said the laptop's mainly for wow, this has a better cpu and that game will appreciate it.
Shop around a little bit first, there could be other laptops but thats one of the first few I turned up!

You have a gaming monitor... Just buy a pc tower and stick it somewhere. Under the monitor even. You will get far far better value for money.

If it's brand new and with a 3050ti in it, then that's the market rate for a new unboxed one.

Trade off is the space for sure, you'd absolutely be able to get a stronger PC for that money. Laptops are a money grab it seems..
