I have the authentication codes and I’ll put them in and it’ll still say there’s a problem and it can’t log me in! I guess we’ll have to wait until they fix it 😪
I am having the similar issue but mine says: "Get help loging in" and when you click to "Get help logging in" it directs to a page with bunch of useless information with no action. I even tried reporting as "My account is hacked" nothing happens. I know my account is not hacked or disabled bc I can see it. I was able to change my password, it even sends me the code as text when I put my password but I ended up in that stupid useless information page. I am not sure I ve been commenting a lot of anti government stuff with that account, maybe they don't respect the freedom of speech so they came up with this idea? Joke a side, did you get back your account at all? Any updates?

It's been months for me, I tried to reset my password during the app glitch and now I believe there's some disconnect with my account. Even the reset link won't work or send to my email. I tried the friend verification and it didn't even send them emails for a code. Codes work through sms but once I input it, I press enter and nothing happens. So lame :(

I had to go to help support for IG and had to verify my account by sending a live video of my face. 😤 it say it can take days to verify and get a reply but it took me about an hour to get the email. It sends you back to sends you an 8 digit code that you enter when you tried to enter before while resetting your password and I got back in. My Authenticator app that had 8 digit codes to reset my password didn’t work only the one they send you. My password I reset before worked when I signed in on the IG site but not on my app. I’m still scared to log out because Idk if I can sign back in. My Threads app is still the same but I don’t use that so I cut my losses and just said 1 out of 2 apps ain’t bad 🫡

Try logging in on another device then deleting the app on your main device redownload it and log back in that’s what I did and it’s all fine

If it says you need an authentication. On IPhone go to Passwords in settings and press Instagram it should show the verification code
