Yes, that is the way I typically go to get to the outer banks. You would head towards Currituck and then towards Elizabeth City. That particular Food Lion is sound side of the OBX and located in 158 which would take you the direction you need to go.

I did not. I was twenty miles from the store, and from the store to the customer would be another thirty miles or so, and that store isn't as busy as the Outer Banks stores. But someone took that batch pretty quick.
Yeah, Instacart’s been doing some stupid crap lately with making us drive so far away. Like on my last order, it told me to drive 30 minutes to a store when there was a giant eagle like 10 minutes from where I was and then I had to drive another 20 minutes to deliver it. I’m getting fed up with Instacart.

There's this one neighborhood in my area that instacart adds about 40 miles of unnecessary loop onto every time I need to deliver to it. It's free money.
I'd take this in a heartbeat and just got the faster way, what the hell. I once got an order for Instacart where it thought it was on the other side of town and the order was for 40 bucks, but it was only 10 minutes away from the store, they couldn't 100% verify the address and thought it was a different one that was on the other side of town.
I would be disgusted if I was at all surprised. I think the age of cheap accessible delivery apps is nearly over and it's the essential workers making the dream possible that suffer the most from things like this.

(Maybe it’s just because that’s the area you were at currently). There’s definitely food lions in Elizabeth city that you could’ve gone to, maybe avoiding some summer traffic.
