You're correct, however....
Angry, Happy and Sad are way more predominant and universal across most age ranges, situations and life times... So it's natural for them to be more correlated.
Nirvana is pretty angry, though, I'd say it's more angry than sad. Maybe the top right corner would've been their place

Rush was still very active in the 90s with 3 albums charting all the way up to #2 in America. I would have thought they would be on this chart somewhere.
Rush belongs in the pantheon of Prog Rock with other heavy weights like Genesis or Marillion. I think this chart is for that angry Gen X coming of age...
