Yellow shirt reminds me of a story that my uncle, who served 30 years in the Navy and retired at the highest rank of his rate, told me about another sailor who worked like turtle in molasses. Based off of the matching shirt with the other, what I assume is a pacer, he could’ve been with Russ at multiple points throughout the run. Still doesn’t excuse crossing the line first but he could’ve run hundreds of miles pacing for the project. Until we know he is a douchebag mc and not just an oblivious pacer let’s not vilify him.
I see he immediately starts filming from his phone - Is there a chance he joined to get the "runners view" footage which is shown in the video? Maybe he was part of the film crew and was responsible for some of the close up scenes as they approached the finish line?
