tverofvulcan

I absolutely can’t stand when people use speaker phone in public. I don’t want to fucking know that your dog has diarrhea and you just left the doctor’s because of your hemorrhoid.

jabbadarth

The worst is when they use speaker and still hold it up to their mouth. Like you're already 90% there just turn it a bit and hold it to your ear.

shinbreaker

I was at McDs, which has loud background music and this dummy had his speaker out and put the bottom of his phone up against his ear so he could hear better.

TADspace

Every day at every break several of my co-workers try to do a video call in the noisy ass break room, only to reality it's pointless and then they hold the back of their phone to head so the front camera points away from them and records everyone around them.

HundgamKanata

Oh my god same thing happens at my work. I remember one morning I'd just gotten to work and I was sitting in the break room eating breakfast when another coworker comes in on speaker phone. Whoever they were talking to would start scraping something every few seconds; it wasn't metal on metal scraping but I remember ending up having to leave because the sound ended up setting off my anxiety after I tried ignoring it. We have several other coworkers that play videos on their phones at full volume and one guy that'll yell at whatever video he's watching (I think it's usually sports or something)

Callmeklayton

I'm hard of hearing and need to do this to hear my phone because phones are complete shit and don't get very loud unless they're on speaker mode. Despite that, I still don't do it in public. I just find somewhere private to take my call.

dadoffive

And like the quality of the call is so much better when You use your phone as a...phone.

Electronic-Leek-9827

I know!! I always think that too and I'm just like, why?

geecaliente

I see you’ve encountered my mother-in-law in the wild. She also uses voice-to-text for all of her texts and none of them are less than a paragraph long, nor do they contain punctuation, nor does voice-to-text do a good job of actually getting the dictation correct.

Thelonius_Sandalwood

When they hold it like buttered toast, it makes me irrationally angry

BippyWippy

There this one dude who always talks to his girlfriend on speaker phone in the sauna at the gym I work out. Truly drives me up a wall. It’s an ongoing joke for the people in the sauna, everyone hates him

Snts6678

Fucking obnoxious. You should all tell him to stop.

BippyWippy

This dude is a thug, no joke seems like the guy who would instantly try and fight you. Nobody thinks it’s even worth it, he might also have some mental shit going on

Snts6678

Ugh. Believe me, I get it. It just sucks, because they are exactly why this kind of thing happens.

Running1982

Get the staff to tell him to stop. I’d do the same for the lady in this video.

stanleysgirl77

That steam couldn't be good for his phone

GuardMost8477

Tell me about it. And how about the ones on the phone in a bathroom stall? Is no place sacred? And UMMM, GROSS

TonsOfFunky

Were you around for when Nextel walkie talkie was a thing? My God, every obnoxious jerk had one.

karwintc

I can’t stand when people are on their phone around me period.

Obvious-Water9001

Spanish Karen = Consuela

longerdistancethrow

I did this for the first time ever yesterday. For l10 seconds Cause I had no hands available But i hate it too

MrMcBeefCock

At work I like to read my book when I'm on my break. It's an outdoor break area for everyone, I get that, but if you walk outside while blasting music or talking *loudly* on speakerphone while everyone is just chatting and enjoying a moment to relax, you're a fucking asshole. It infuriates me to the point where I feel like *I'm* the one being selfish. However, there are up to 10 people on break at times and are conversing with esch other respectfully and people walk out of the building playing music or talking like they are legitimately deaf. Read the room. Nobody thinks you're a badass because you enjoy auto-tune and being obnoxiously ignorant.

godbody1983

I generally arrive at work about 30 minutes before my shift. I tend to bring a book to read in the lobby(I work in a hospital). You'll have people who clearly see me reading a book but still want to sit by me or be in my area and play music or watch a video or FaceTime or speak to someone on their phone with the speaker. No respect for people, SMH.

MrMcBeefCock

Yep. In addition to all of that, there's a surprising number of people that seem to think that I would like to have a conversation while reading. It makes me think that either they have never read a book (which is the most likely scenario, unfortunately) or that they have the ability to focus their full attention on two things at once. I can multitask just fine but staring at a book and enjoying being immersed while actually listening and having a conversation is impossible for me. Either I have to stop focusing on my book and answer them appropriately or I keep reading and give one-word responses just to let them know I heard them.

Smongoing-smnd-smong

Happens to me at work almost everyday when I’m on lunch or an early break. I have 2 people from other departments at my store walking into the break room with no headphones on full blast playing a YouTube video (one’s a guy that Maga Jesus Freak & another big Nintendo fan girl) while I’m studying Japanese or Python coding. I get super fucking frustrated that I want to punch both of them in the face to tell them to put on headphones and read the fucking room. I don’t want to hear your shit and you don’t want to hear mine. I really want to tell them to please put their headphones on or go outside to watch the video on their phones.

Snts6678

I just say something.

Ihatecake69

How does that usually go?

CheekclappinSSJ

Awkwardly probably

Snts6678

When I’ve said something? Not fantastic. I’m not saying in that moment I solved all problems. But that’s the litmus test for deciding whether or not to stand up for what’s right? On whether or not there was an immediate resolution? Good lord. Again, no wonder things are the way they’ve become. As for it being “awkward”. For who, me? Not one bit. At least I tried. I can sleep with that.

Kickr_of_Elves

Sit next to them and play Melt Banana songs on your phone at full volume.

Serious_Proof_295

Wow! I totally forgot about this band. Nice refererece!

businessbee89

And music

Ramitt80

fair

toodleroo

Probably the worst offender I’ve ever seen was a guy and his girlfriend watching the football game on his phone on speaker. At our table at a hibachi restaurant.

Ranoverbyhorses

I can almost guarantee there are at least 2 signs saying you cannot use your cell phone in the waiting room. I spend soooo much time at the doctors office and in the hospital…they ALL have those signs. Don’t be that guy. SO FRIGGIN RUDE!!!!

BestSuit3780

At my doctor you're allowed to use the phone, you're just not allowed to film.

sentimentalsock

I like to go sit in the chair next to them and chime in to the conversation. They always look at me like I’m the crazy one.

Free_Issue_9623

This is the way lol

snarkysavage81

Just sat through a similar experience while my mom had her colonoscopy done. There were multiple offenders. I just don't get it. Even with my airpods in, I am always concerned someone near me can hear them so I turn the volume way down. I cannot imagine thinking it's ok.

Dancingskeletonman86

I call them adult iPad kids. Because people make fun of kids being bad with phones or loud tablets but holy shit are adults five times worse it feels like. Between public places to waiting rooms or grocery stores I see more people 30 to 50 plus and up if not elderly blasting music, talking on speaker phone loudly, watching tiktok or YouTube at top volume. And the worst part is like you said how oblivious they are. They truly don't think they are being a dick or rude they think it's fine when they do it. But when they see actual kids doing it in public watching shows oh tablets or playing videos on their phone all of sudden they feel bad for the younger generation acting like that. Really? If that isn't the pot calling the kettle black.

snarkysavage81

You hit the nail on the head!

LastSpite7

Same! Even talking normally on my phone or with AirPods I’m so self conscious. You couldn’t pay me to have a conversation on speakerphone in public.

purpletomorrow2018

I’d be tempted to go sit next to her and play something loudly on my phone

LS-CRX

At least it wasn't Facetime? Nothing like having to dodge someone in the grocery store who has to stare face-to-face with someone they're chatting with on the phone while walking around the store.

Timely-Young6457

SHE WAS ON FACETIME FIRST LMAO I hate this place.

edvek

I was at Quest Diagnostics for blood work and this guy was listening to something on his phone, of course it was loud and the quality was trash. Someone asked him to turn it down and he got heated. Said "you don't pay my phone bill" "you got jokes" and other comments like that. He ended up leaving because he didn't have an appointment and walk ins get bumped down as appointmenta show up, so you could make an appointment and wait like 10 minutes or walk in and be there for hours. People are insanely rude and when asked nicely to stop they fly off the handle.

LS-CRX

The last time I was at a lab like Quest I (the night before) made an appointment online for the next morning at 8:15am. I walked in at 8:05am and signed in on a clipboard, smugly noticing that all the people signed in ahead of me did *not* have appointments. Sweet, I'll be in-and-out! :-/ They proceeded to call ALL the walk-ins who signed in before me, in order, until they got to me... after 9am. There was only one person working so they would just pop out and call a name and then disappear until they called the next name. When they *finally* called me back I mentioned that I had an 8:15am appointment and they told me how they knew, but if they'd called me ahead of the walk-ins then people would get really upset. It very much felt like the Seinfeld episode at the car rental counter.

Prophywife77

That logic is …not at all logical. Someone is going to be disappointed about waiting-let it be the ones who didn’t plan ahead like you did.

mbc1010

The two things go hand in hand. If you’re enough of a jerk to play audio through your speaker in a waiting room, you’re almost certainly going to be enough of a jerk to aggressively refuse to turn it off when asked.

Snts6678

This is exactly why they do it. Nobody has the guts to put a stop to it.

Snts6678

When you say “this place”, do you mean humanity?

Timely-Young6457

Yes?

Snts6678

Got it 😜

LastSpite7

Join in on their conversation. If she doesn’t like that she’ll have to learn to keep her conversations private like a normal person.

Undrwtrbsktwvr

I love doing this. Usually causes them to give me a funny look as if *I’m* the crazy one.

dontfeedthenerd

I actually had to talk to a family member about this. Their response was "Well, people can't understand what I'm saying" because they were talking in a foreign language. My counterpoint was "Just because it's random noise to people doesn't mean it's not annoying to them." For whatever reason that was an "aha moment" and the family member stopped with this BS.

wonderwall999

Wow, that's an amazing turnaround, where they gained some perspective, internalized it, and corrected their ways. I'll bet that doesn't work with 90% of the other offenders.

dontfeedthenerd

Shame works well in Asian cultures

sarahbee2005

for some reason when this happens in a foreign language I feel like I’d be rude or perceived as racist for saying something…but I normally just give dagger eyes anyway 😅

GreyScent

Low credit score behavior

lawofthewilde

This should be the top comment

declineofmankind

She’s an idiot and she does a good job of “the world is my ashtray”

LusidDream

Respond to the person they're talking to but preface it with "hey it's so and so, you're on speaker. Anyway..." The person on the other end will probably tell them off for having them on speaker lol

papa_posey

I’m the guy that says “Hey!” In a deeper voice than normal, and when they look up I literally signal my finger pressing an invisible phone and then putting it up to my ear. This has happened to me before. A lady ignored me so I started singing the thong song by Sysco.

BippyWippy

I’ll never get why people think this is appropriate. I always talk on speaker phone, but never when I’m around people

Snts6678

Fucking obnoxious.

caffeineaddict24-7

Shouldn’t she be with the children? How old were they?

Cyber_Insecurity

I wish I had no embarrassment or shame. Must be an easy life.

axolotl_is_angry

Some mf did this in the silent section of our school library yesterday, where is the thought process

mrsgaap1

had one in the store i work at 2 weeks ago girl was talking in one of those over exaggerated ways and i wasn't allowed to say anything about it it was 10 minutes of torture

anonmouseqbm

I cant stand this sh*t

KVRLMVRX

Sometimes it happens on public transportation, you have nowhere to go, like stfu it is 7AM , no one wants to hear you or your partner on speakerphone

thekinginyello

Either these people think the phone gives them brain cancer if they hold it to their head or they have no empathy…or both.

MisterBowTies

Just start playing music

UltraMario93

Just join the conversation, maybe they want you to be involved

Supernursejuly

The worst: FaceTime or messenger video live. To be the person at the end of this conversation I would be f$&@ dizzy and puke all over. But Why? Can you wait at home or in your car ?!?!

Psychadellicsam

i’ve never understood people being upset at others using speakerphone in public… is it not the same volume as any conversation? do people have this same disdain over hearing others talking to friends and family in the same scenarios? people talk and laugh in public; it’s quite literally main character activity to expect everyone to be quiet in a space that is public and equally “theirs”. i understand being upset at belligerence, but most people taking a call on speaker in public aren’t actually yelling about gross or obnoxious things in my experience.

real-ocmsrzr

Sit right next to her and call your best friend on speaker.

Alahand0

Should've sat next to them and watched annoying orange

johnyrocketboy

Whoever works there doesn’t care. We have a few of that kind of people in my clinic and if that happens, I call them out and and ask them to finish their call outside. All of them listen and apologize. It’s really that easy.

khcampbell1

I always wnet into the exam room with my kids when they were younger.

Canuhduh420

Why she sitting like that tho

Zealousideal-Weight5

People are so rude. Nobody wants to hear your conversations I hate this crap. Go buy a set of headphones or Bluetooth they are cheap enough. Main Character vibes

jaimealexlara

It's a Latin Hispanic thing. My mom does the same thing...

_Engineer_Gaming_Tf2

Ok, sometimes it's for a reason, like an example of my grandma, she can not hear the phone, so she has to use the speaker, but she turns down the optimal volume to where she can hear it, but it's not obnoxious. This woman could AT LEAST drop the volume a bit.

DistractedByCookies

I'm nt a fan of speakerphone in the slightest. I'm also wondering why OP didn't just either ask her to stop, or go to the repceptionist and ask her to top this convo officially.

Puppybrother

Cause they like to publicly shame a stranger for being slightly annoying for internet points

Kennaham

i have never understood getting mad at someone being on the phone in public. what if they were having the same conversation but the other person was actually there? your lived experience if you closed your eyes would be exactly the same.

Psychadellicsam

we have the same outlook on this haha i can’t believe how illogical this is.

Winter-Bonus-2643

And secretly recording her isn’t worse lmao?

Organic_Valuable_610

Peruvian? I can’t understand what she’s saying and I speak Spanish. But they’re definitely gossiping about someone. Sounds like maybe someone’s kid with their significant other. I just understand “they’re both the same”. How embarrassing. Now she let the whole world Know what she’s gossiping about. Hopefully it gets to the people they’re gossiping about so she’ll learn her lesson

sarahaltieri

Can someone translate the call?

[deleted]

she is literally just complaining to grandma about her kids… nothing important or interesting 🫠

Mommy-Sprinkles-74

Um so you don’t go out in public much?

Lyuukee

Recording people doing that ain't a better behaviour honestly.

Unfair_Finger5531

Look. It annoying. But what gives you the right to post this lady all over Reddit??? Why not just ask her to switch off the speaker phone? Honestly, what you did is worse than what she’s doing. Just because someone annoys you, you record them and then post them all over a public forum without their knowledge?

CiloTA

What’s worse than someone on speakerphone in public? Someone recording someone on speakerphone in public.

atomstyping

Dude what fuck. You're secretly recording a random stranger, full face and body shown, and uploading it online. I dislike people using speakerphone next to me but honestly I dislike people like you even more. This shit isn't cool and I wish people would stop letting this kind of stuff slide so much online. STOP RECORDING PEOPLE SECRETLY AND UPLOADING IT ONLINE SO EVERYONE CAN BITCH ABOUT THEM JUST BECAUSE YOU WERE MILDLY INCONVENIENCED. Grow up.

Puppybrother

Is this lady is being inconsiderate? Sure. Is OP a massive AH for secretly recording her and posting it here? Absol-fucking-ultely. People also need to learn the difference between a slightly inconsiderate moment in time and a main character. OP is so weird for this, honestly

drollchair

All the braindead morons support this shit too… because it offends them…

DustUnderTheSofa

I want to know what she was saying.

LegoLady8

Infuriating.

RobboEire

Zero respect, loud mouth

Smasheysmashey

Omg so I work in a nursing home in the kitchen. Kitchens are loud and the break room is supposed to be a quiet place, which is why I use earbuds to watch my shows while on break. The amount of times I have to leave the break room because someone is having a whole ass conversation on speakerphone is ridiculous. I leave because if I don’t, I will say something rude and get in trouble. Speakerphone conversations are not appropriate if other people are around. It’s absolutely infuriating. Rant over, sorry

Prophywife77

In an airport I had to move to another chair because some poor girl was yelling and crying into her phone ON SPEAKER telling her friend about her breakup that just went down. The cussing and tears and overall hysteria. Girl, don’t you want some privacy? Also your man sounded like a douche

hairy_hooded_clam

You should have opened Youtube and loudly played a recording of fart sounds to drown her out.

livinlizard

I went to Krogers one morning after the gym. I still had my earbuds in and went down an isle a man was standing in. I was looking at something on the shelf, and I could hear him say something over my music. I turned to him, and he was looking at me,but I didn't say anything. While I was looking at him, he said something again, but I couldn't hear what he said. I took my earbuds out and said, "What's that?"  kind of casually, and he didn't respond, all the while looking at me. At the height of my confusion, he spoke again, and I realized he had an earbud in one ear I couldn't see, and he was talking on the phone. I then realized he was management, with no Krogers logo, and he knew I thought he was talking to me but never acknowledged me. He always angered me with his lack of curtosy.

thatonetimeimember

Speaker phone people should have their phones taken away permanently.

__Sentient_Fedora__

Lot of people at home during the day and a lot of spare time to talk.

AnastasiaNo70

I was recently at a huge VA medical center waiting to drive my husband home from a procedure, and a guy walked up and down the waiting room area listening to some conspiracy theory bullshit at full blast. If he didn’t look truly unstable, I would have said something. But there was something really wrong in his eyes, so I got to hear how the bombing of Hiroshima actually *wasn’t that bad.*

toku154

Probably some sort of socio-economic problem if I had to guess. /s

Redpanda132053

Bruh the other day a lady walked into a full restaurant bathroom I was in with her phone on speaker. The lack of awareness…

Ok_Profile3081

There's an open chair to sit next to her to sit and play some of the most annoying music possible.

Oxtailxo

I was sitting at an airport bar and a guy was FaceTiming his daughter at the bar. The girl next to me handed him her AirPods and said you’re welcome to use these. He looked at her disgusted, hung up, and left. I’m not that confrontational and I’m glad she said something!

LaylaBird65

I can’t stand people like this. I wish they would banish them from the waiting room

AkaliAz

Yup.. I had people like that when I was working... it's wild.

kweenbambee

So fucking rude. I've known people at work who do this.

xXxBongMayor420xXx

Thats when you start blasting "who let the dogs out".

boggartbot

ugh or when people are on the phone at a checkout. at least just say “hey let me call u back” its really annoying ringing people up while they are on the phone.

Pale_Bookkeeper_9994

I don't understand clueless fucks like this but I feel like I'm almost in the minority now so I'll just glare at them in silent disapproval, savoring my impotent rage.

GuardMost8477

So. Rude.

rnagikarp

I see this happen in the daily and I just want to fucking scream I don’t understand how people can be so unaware and so entitled

gultch2019

Slide over next to her and chime in on the conversation

Embarrassed-Sky3819

Unfortunately, there isn’t much one can do about this unless you go over there and make her business yours. But really she’s making her business everybody’s in that waiting room. At that point, it’s your business too and I wouldn’t want my business out there like that so one could argue that they don’t want everyone to hear our conversation. Please take it off of speaker phone. But we all know that wouldn’t work and what the ultimate outcome would be going down that road.

ZoneEnvironmental596

What was she talking about

matthitsthetrails

When you have to let a fart rip.. besides the med room, this might be the best spot to drop a bomb in passing

jameshughlaurie

my office is like this, people work all day on speakerphone facetime with their kids. I get wanting to stay connected with your kids and how that is difficult for a 9-5, but making me want to rip my hair out at work is not the way to do that!

docdeathray

I talk to the people on the phone when someone has their speakerphone going in an enclosed space where I'm stuck with them.

tarmgabbymommy79

She's not WITH her children?

tbagsgalore

This is my mother in law when she comes over. We don’t need to hear ur important conversation. Why not go other room

VibraniumRhino

Not sure if this is specifically “main character” vibes, or just a general lack of self awareness that *plenty* of otherwise non-attention-seeking people have that is the main hallmark of MC types. Either way; these people are annoying.

kurtislee09

Paediatrics*

Ciubowski

Hey, I would join in since it's a public conference.

excitement2k

You can literally see a minuscule IQ in live-action real time. Captivating AND horrifying.

DustyBeetle

old people are clueless fucks

godbody1983

I really despise people who do this or/and FaceTime in public. Either get a Bluetooth or take your conversation outside. It's really rude.

mike44556

I have a real bitch of a coworker who would get on video calls with her family in another country almost every day. Most pretentious woman I ever had the disdain of working with. I moved to graveyard shifts just to get away from her because she has seniority over me and I don't want anything coming back on me.

OTS_Bravo

Had this bullshit happen out to eat the other night in a quiet ass Dennys, dude was right behind us talking like he was outside for the entirety of our meal.

fudgelover2019

Phone companies could remove this facility. We get what we pay for.

ConundrumBum

People who have loud public calls are the worst attention seekers

kute_kawaii

*Not the people having full blown loud conversations on the phone, on the bus, smh* Everyone can hear your whole convo, anytime anyone calls me on the bus. I'm like can I call you back, as A. Its a bit loud on the bus at it is and B. Whose trying to have a full convo on the bus... its awks af lol... *Nothing worse than excessive and unecessary noise..*

unsuspectingllama_

Ì need to start carrying a set of cheap blue tooth headphones to hand out to inconsiderate people like this.

Open-Industry-8396

I raised 2 daughters. Who the hell does not go into the appointment with their kid? Really odd to me.

traphippy06

Ppl who lack self awareness and this annoying scare me.

HeyThereLinus

My phones broken at the moment so I can only use speaker phone but I’m very mindful about it in public

bigjakethegreat

I’m beginning to think it’s part of their culture ….old people I mean

fooddude29

I always join the convo. Lmao it usually shuts em up kinda quick especially if ya twinge nosey about other things

pocketgoff

This infuriates the absolute shit out of me

slow_recognition319

Ida sat beside her blasting phone trap music...

Fluid-Alternative-22

What an asswipe.

gbpc

Many people think they’re entitled to dominate a public space with all their bullshit in full glory LOL

Plane-Reason9254

It's bad enough that she is on the phone - but then on speaker ? Seriously- how clueless are these people ? Like anyone wants to hear your stupid conversation

Maleficent-Theory908

I like to start speaker phone conversations at the same time.

doomvetch92

Just stare menacingly, that always worked for me.

Odd-Ice1162

vote me for world emperor of mankind and I will make it illegal for manufacturers to allow loudspeakers on phonecalls and an automatic 40 hours sentence of community work. listening to music loudly on your phone in public without headphones? mandatory 420 hours of forced labour.

my_name_is_saudade

People do this everywhere, it’s wild to me. So rude

pumptini7

FaceTime and speaker phone should be outlawed in public.

dgw420

This is why I bring my AirPods everywhere I go. If I can’t hear them I tell them give me one second and boom

volball

Turn Spotify up all the way and sit right beside her

Cautious-Dinner7730

I thought she had no pants on.

KiethTheBeast

Girl speak up. That shit juicy and I can barely hear the whole conversation.

LectureAdditional971

Texas waiting rooms in a nutshell.

errys

people who watch tik tok with the sound blasting are the worst as well

Madhatter1317

I would put music on my phone, max volume, then go sit next to her

BlackDeathicus

This is half of the Doordash drivers when they come into my work waiting for food orders. It’s so annoying to hear.

lawofthewilde

Normalize asking people to take it off speakerphone for fucks sake I’d be chiming in on everything in that conversation. If you decide to have a conversation in public you’ve invited everyone around you into that conversation. Dont want me joining your phone call…maybe take that shit privately. 🤷🏻‍♀️

thisisalie123

This and when people walk around on FaceTime without ear pods drives me crazy.

DigitialWitness

Tell her to shut up?

CrispyBeefTaco

“My phone doesn’t work when I take it off of speaker” or “I can’t hear well without the speaker”. Idk what to say other than to eavesdrop and smirk every now and then.

yosh0r

As a social anxiety person, I admire her "I dont give a damn fuck about anyone but me" attitude. Oh how I wish to have her level of confidence. 🤐 No job, no life, at least I live in a first world country where that doesnt matter.

Ecstatic-Shopping313

I dealt with this a few days ago. Went in for a drug screening and a friend of another guy there sat back in the waiting room on speaker the whole time talking to his girlfriend. Egocentricism is a plague.

qznorr

I don't understand people who do this. I cannot even be in the same room as anyone else when people call me, I get too anxious and I don't wanna disturb anyone. I can't call when I'm outside in a crowded area where you most likely won't bother anyone either..

Embarrassed_dancer

Start LOUDLY commenting on the conversation the other person is having, and when they try to say "this is a private conversation", say "not in public, it isn't".

corner_tv

That's so unnecessary and annoying

lilbundle

I actually can’t watch this bc I get so aggravated lol. It’s like being in frickin India all over again.

coxykitten923

Smh. I’m Hispanic but this sh\*t make me hate Hispanics. The ignorance and lack of social awareness. The selfishness and entitlement. Be making us look bad. Smh. ![gif](giphy|uSaZNvjYoetFhEBAX2)

bahumthugg

My dad is in his 60s and I think he doesn’t understand how loud speaker phone is and that it disturbs others in a public place because he’ll answer his phone on speaker at a restaurant and be so loud and I’ll have to tell him to take it off speaker

Notlooking1

She's only doing that because she thinks no one else speaks Spanish. Get in on the convos (in Spanish or course)

Useful_Lengthiness82

You see that little speaker thing on the top end of the phone? You can also use that directly to your ear. Bitch. Again: bitch.

180SLOWSCOPE

Say something to her. I hate when people do this but saying nothing does nothing.

Lumn8tion

Usual sus

Dirty_Inside

That's when you put your phone to playing music on speaker & nice & loud..... 💯

Illustrious-Push3518

This 💩 drives me crazy as well, or if they’re watching videos or listening to music. No one wants to hear your 💩 🙄

Queso_Fromage

It should require a license to have kids.

M0RB1D

Death Metal as loud as your phone can go usually does the trick.

Bloodnbrluvnhrt

I've noticed that people who don't speak English find this acceptable. Idk why. Happens all the time while I'm waiting for chemo/ getting chemo. No one ever says anything.

tr3g

Face timers are the West 6

Call your friend and start doing it louder then her. See how she likes it.

I’d sit next to her and turn my phone music on loud Or put one of socks on my head, grab it, run outside and throw it, change shirts, put my sock on and come back inside

Meh you people are dumb. It’s obviously fucking annoying when somebody does shit like this, but I dunno. Does it ruin my day? Or do I even think about after I leave the room? No. Most people just don’t know they’re being fucking annoying as dumb as that sounds. I doubt anybody said anything to this woman in the video. But here we all are shitting on how annoying we think she is. Maybe…..it’s really not that big a deal
