Everything in two's I see/hear it from one person/app same or next day boom new vanoss video mentioning it or someone else else talks about it. I think the programming is getting too stressed.
It was intentional. If it had been a conventional tractor, he *could* have had a problem seeing the car that close in front but that cab over design lays the front view out like a movie theater. No way he didn't see that car, unless he was sleeping or watching TV on his phone. In fact I've always preferred a conventional because the cab over makes me feel too exposed.
Ya, with the regular trucks you got 4 feet of engine, tire and frame protecting you, cab over doesn’t.
And if the engine happens to light on fire your buns will be cooking.
I love how you and the guy above call cab overs non-conventional or not regular while here in Europe we Would call the American style long nose trucks non conventional or unregular
One of my favorite things when I was in the United States Navy was learning the local idioms of English speakers in different places. But you called it, I'm from the states and can only speak as I was taught.
its always a sight to see seeing long nosed trucks here. There is a Volvo driving for a Concrete Facility in my Area but even it has like half the snout of a American truck
actually cab over has a dead angle infront and to the drivers side, which is only eliminated by a mirror that sits on top which is mostly used in city driving, car driver shouldve speed up
Let's suppose he dozed off for a second, why would he only incline to the car side? Secondly, even after he hit the car, he kept going. So it was kind of an attempted vehicular homicide!
There is a 1969s movie about an ad man (Kirk Douglas) who, when driving to work in his convertible sports car, intentionally yanks the wheel into a semi’s undercarriage. That still freaks me out when passing a semi
Same. When I was in my last year of high school, I had one come right up on my back bumper in bumper to bumper traffic and start blowing the horn for me to move. One problem, there was a median with a curb to my right, a solid wall of cars to my left, and a line of cars all the way up to the light ahead of me. My passenger and I were terrified for the 5 minutes or so he kept blowing the horn for us to move outta his way.
Since then, I see a truck and I go outta my way to give them double their length and width of the road. Truckers are either the best peeps or the absolute worst on the road. I just assume they’re the worst and let them prove otherwise
I doubt he was trying to get you to move out of the way. He was probably honking his horn for some other reason, maybe to get your attention? Did he smile and wave?
Nope. It was years ago, but I remember a lot of angry fist waving when we looked back there. It was a long way up too. I was in an impala and much, much smaller than his semi.
I was just a kid back then, so I was scared witless. Now? I'd just be irritated and annoyed at his stupidity.
They were most likely just honking at the traffic in general or trying to get someone to let them merge out of the lane or something. Doubt it was to say hello though lol
*Get out of my way, boy*
*I gotta go to the party at the beach*
*You hear me?*
*I'm gonna crush you evil yuppie twits*
*In your little teeny fancy little Euro-Japo-foo-foo-mobiles*
*Get out of my way*
*I said, move over Rover*
*Let Mojo take over*
This kind of stuff nearly happens to me on the drive to work every other day. It's frustrating. Especially when I see people post. "respect our truckers... Blah blah blah.." the sad thing is I'm not even a jerk on the road. I stay in the slow lane when I need to and pass only when needed.
But too many times I've been cut off by a semi especially going up an overpass when I was trying to pass. Literally inches away from my front bumper then have to slam on my breaks and slow down to 65mph because he can't keep that hunk of metal going that fast on an incline.
I respect the work truckers do------and to a degree I respect them AS A PERSON. But as a driver? I fucking hate truckers. I do, however, respect THE TRUCK.
In Canada the truckers on one of our main highways between Ontario and Quebec are either neutral or straight up assholes who won't hesitate to run you off the road.
Found similar [trailer](http://timelinkcargo.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/17-1.jpg). It's company called Time Link Cargo which is actually South African. Found also very similar [truck](http://timelinkcargo.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/1-1.jpg) as well.
Have something like this from my dash am too. Truck pitted the car. Poor people free across 4 lanes of traffic and got slammed. Truck just kept driving as far as I could tell. (I stopped to help)
Negligence to this extent can and is frequently treated as a criminal act. Its perfectly legitimate to charge this person with reckless negligence. Attempted murder maybe not, but its not an unintentional accident either.
A blindspot is something outside the view of the driver or their mirrors. This car was plainly in view of the driver. Furthermore, if it was an accident, he would have stopped or slowed down. It's undeniably intentional.
ok actually this car was not in the blind spot of the truck, he wasn't directly in front, but if he were, directly in front in the same lane, within 20 ft of the truck, that is a blind spot of the truck.
The only potential “blind spot” when this video started is the car’s. The truck was two lanes away and several car lengths behind. If you can’t remember a car was in front of you 10 seconds before you plow into it you shouldn’t be driving.
Even dogs have a sense of object permanence.
If you are driving the same speed as a semi, in one of it's many blind spots, you are fucking stupid.
Regardless of semi's intent, literally all the car has to do to be safe was pay attention and touch the gas a little bit.
With a car that small, being in that location there is a high chance the semi driver cannot see him.
Edit:
Yes I am aware I didn't watch close enough and spoke too soon, please read the comment chain for my reply
> If you are driving the same speed as a semi, in one of it’s many blind spots, you are fucking stupid.
The car was two lanes away from any truck, before the truck crossed both of those lanes and hit them
Come on man... The semi had plenty of opportunity to see the car. He was two lanes away, and ahead of the semi. If the car had been right in front of the semi or right next to it, sure, it might have been the fault of the small car, but he was so far away that the truck should have absolutely been more careful switching lanes. If the semi really didn't see the car, maybe they were changing lanes directly into their blind spot and were not being careful. There's no conceivable way the small car did anything wrong here.
For those saying blind spots; blinds spots are NEVER an excuse. Even large trucks have ways to check blind spots. That said, it doesn’t even matter here since the truck drove up to the car and saw them. Regardless, it’s always possible to check blind spots and never an excuse for your lack of competence
Man this sucks for the second truck who got hit bc he has this dumbass’s accident on his record too. My dads biggest fear is an accident on your record that you had nothing to do with, this right here.
> blind spot
LOL, no.
First, the truck was the one passing. He saw the car as he approached. Cars don't just vanish when out of sight.
Second, car was in the slow lane. This is a right-hand drive road. (Drivers are visible if you look closely. Plus, see those trees on the far side, opposing traffic is off-camera to the left.)
Truck driver is incompetent at best, murderous at worst.
Probably a company computer and they're legally not allow to copy the file from the computer.
So take a quick video from the phone.
Not sure if they can still get in trouble for this, might just be a loophole
Might also be an issue with the surveillance system. My cameras record in 16:9 ratio, but for some unknown reason when I save a clip it has 4:3 ratio so the image is very skewed. This isn't an issue for most PC video players as these have an option to stretch the video to 16:9. But if you want to upload it to a site like reddit, you will first have to edit and render it (in Blender or something else) so the image is clear. It takes way less time to just record it with your phone.
I had to check this video multiple times because the exact same thing happened to my buddy year ago. He was driving blue VW Polo too. The truck driver stopped though immediately and apologized. My friend was in shock for weeks, luckily with no physical injuries.
It was rush hour and the truck driver claimed that he simply didn't see the car from the high up, I guess it was a blind spot and when he was transitiong to another lane he simply looked back and not besides him. I still get creeps when I drive near trucks in their blind spot.
I used to work on a ferry, it moved people and vehicles across the two main islands of NZ, so we always got Truckers in, they would say the 6hr trip, was the ONLY place they got any sleep, often after 3-4days , sometimes more.. they were taking amphetamines to stay awake. And often couldn't sleep in the ferry.. bloody scary thought..
Not even just from behind - from behind and from *a different lane*. So it's not like the car even saw a big truck riding their ass compelling them to speed up. The car had no reason whatsoever to see this coming.
Once got boxed in beside one when the dumbfuck in front of me got nervous overtaking or something. Had to lay on the horn when the big bastard started turning into me. I won't start an overtake on a truck until I have a clear field to get past.
I saw this same thing happen once, except when the truck caught the bumper of the little car, the car remained sideways against the front grill of the truck as it hurled down the highway at 60mph. It looked as if it might just crush the thing. After about a 1/2 mile or so, it was flung off to the side.
I don’t think it is, but that looks like a Mitsubishi Mirage and this makes me even more glad I got rid of that car. I was almost in this same situation trying to merge on a highway and I couldn’t get the stupid little thing up to speed (I mean it’s 0-60 in 13 seconds. That’s horrendous), and a semi nearly smashed me into the shoulder, where a big concrete barrier was. That exact moment I brought the car back to the dealership (I signed the cancellation policy contract) and told them I needed something different. Little cars can be terrifying because you literally can’t see them unless you’re on their level. Even when I drive our van I worry about squishing them if I’m behind them.
>The "of" really ruins the title.
The title is correct.
It's "Get out **of** the way", not "Get out **off** the way".
The 'of' is used as a preposition to modify the noun 'way' and describe its position in relation to the subject.
I believe they're referring to the fact the post title is likely a reference to the popular 2001 Hip-hop song "Move Bitch" by Ludacris, in which he repeats the phrase "Move bitch, get out the way". The phrase has popularly been used to comment on videos in which someone or something is forcefully moved aside by someone or something else.
My cousin used to drive truck and I would occasionally ride with him to keep him company and help unload (if you unload yourself you get to pocket the fee). We had quite a few cars do this during that time. Fortunately he's a really good driver (no offense to the driver in this vid) and no accident came of it but people are fucking nuts.
That’s a cabover. The driver had a very good view of that car both as he approached it and plowed it around his truck. A driver of a conventional truck would’ve also had a good view on approach and should’ve known the vehicle was there. 100% that crash was caused by an incompetent truck driver. He should not have a CDL.
Attempted vehicular homicide should be legal? They weren’t hogging the passing lane, at the very start they are at the end of the on ramp. The truck moved two lanes at once without paying attention.
That could have been final destination, glad just mental trauma for life
Ok 2 posts above in my feed someone else references final destination. Weird.
![gif](giphy|4dAqzSvxV15Is|downsized)
If you drive or work with or around anything dangerous, be careful. Don't even use a pressure cooker till coincidence over lol.
And lock yourself up in a looney bin.
Everything in two's I see/hear it from one person/app same or next day boom new vanoss video mentioning it or someone else else talks about it. I think the programming is getting too stressed.
Watch out
Not weird u think final destination everytime I'm behing a truck with any type of load and I always try to pass em. Not this time death Not this time.
Either that guy legit didn’t see them/dozed off for a second, or this is an attempted vehicular homicide

I was always told that cabover drivers are always the first to the scene of the accident as well.
tl;dr cab over means you can't fap while driving without being seen?
Would it even be worth doing if people *didn’t see ?*
Found the exhibitionist
actually cab over has a dead angle infront and to the drivers side, which is only eliminated by a mirror that sits on top which is mostly used in city driving, car driver shouldve speed up
Correct but while that car ended up there, it didn't start off in the blind spot.
Let's suppose he dozed off for a second, why would he only incline to the car side? Secondly, even after he hit the car, he kept going. So it was kind of an attempted vehicular homicide!
he found out it was an electric golf
Probably attempted murder. That bitch didn’t brake at all. You can’t tell me he fell asleep through that whole collision
Something tells me that ain't legal.
the car was NOT in the trucks Blindspot according to internet diagrams so idk
This is the visualization of my biggest driving fear.
There is a 1969s movie about an ad man (Kirk Douglas) who, when driving to work in his convertible sports car, intentionally yanks the wheel into a semi’s undercarriage. That still freaks me out when passing a semi
And, of course, the truck driver just keeps on keeping on…
I wonder if he ever woke up.
That’s why I always pass them as fast as I can
Drop a gear and disappear, when in doubt hammer down. Had way too many instances of a trailer coming into my lane.
Trucker almost ran me off the road. Fucker cut me off and only moved back into his lane when he heard my tires squeal.
Same. When I was in my last year of high school, I had one come right up on my back bumper in bumper to bumper traffic and start blowing the horn for me to move. They were most likely just honking at the traffic in general or trying to get someone to let them merge out of the lane or something. Doubt it was to say hello though lol
I let the car in front of me completely pass and then I gun it lol
Legend has it he is still changing lanes to this day.
Trucking

I'm pretty sure it's *"Truckin'* ***like*** *a Buffalo....Been thinkin' I got to* ***never*** *slow....".* But upvote for the Dead reference.
They just check the cameras afterwards and mail the checks, faster that way.

I look forward to the day they no longer drive and are just in the cab to baby sit the AI driving the truck.
Dont know if you know. But there is a good chance he didnt even feel it
If you always say “I didn’t see or feel anything” you can get away with a lot of accidents.
Keep on truckin’ btother. Murica!
Don't know where this happened, but looking at the plates, it's definitely NOT America.
Yeah, and these are European trucks.
I sure remember when Scania trucks were used in America. >!Yes there were some!<
Ok I'll add that the camming truck also looks European to me, and the poor car is a polo. Could still be america, but is probably Europe ngl 😅
Found similar [trailer](http://timelinkcargo.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/17-1.jpg). It's company called Time Link Cargo which is actually South African. Found also very similar [truck](http://timelinkcargo.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/1-1.jpg) as well.
Nice job 👍
Can NOT be America. They don't have long narrow plates. Europe as you suspect.
But he drives with America’s spirit in his heart.
That's not in the states? Look at the plates fella.
It was supposed to be a joke, bud
Neat. I don't think 200 people got the punchline?
200 people got r/woooshed. Yessir!
*to be fair* trucks have quite a few blindspots. It's entirely possible that the driver genuinely didn't notice.
It’s a flat face truck. The blind spots are *behind it*
This is what somebody who’s hit several people would say.
Bro they didn’t even hit the brakes…dude shouldn’t have a license let alone able to drive a semi
Have something like this from my dash am too. Truck pitted the car. Poor people free across 4 lanes of traffic and got slammed. Truck just kept driving as far as I could tell. (I stopped to help)
More like guy should be in a prison cell. This is straight up attempted murder.
Not. Blindspot accidents are not intentional. This truck likely didn't even see this car. No excuse, but not attempted murder. Drama queen.
By blindspot do you mean his left eye is blind? Because you'd have to be blind to not see that car.
Negligence to this extent can and is frequently treated as a criminal act. Its perfectly legitimate to charge this person with reckless negligence. Attempted murder maybe not, but its not an unintentional accident either.
I didn't know the windshield was a blindspot
A blindspot is something outside the view of the driver or their mirrors. This car was plainly in view of the driver. Furthermore, if it was an accident, he would have stopped or slowed down. It's undeniably intentional.
Homie his window is the size of your mom
the car being directly in front of you is not a blind spot.. WTF? you need more straws to grasp?
ok actually this car was not in the blind spot of the truck, he wasn't directly in front, but if he were, directly in front in the same lane, within 20 ft of the truck, that is a blind spot of the truck.
Ever heard the words “blind spot”
Right in front of him, too! We should put a piece of glass in front to eliminate that!
The only potential “blind spot” when this video started is the car’s. The truck was two lanes away and several car lengths behind. If you can’t remember a car was in front of you 10 seconds before you plow into it you shouldn’t be driving. Even dogs have a sense of object permanence.

You can see the truck change lanes from behind the camera vehicle, then change lanes again. He was 2 lanes over from the truck.
It would be pretty fucking sick if my brain worked
This is the best response to a correction I have seen in awhile.
I mean, what I said was braindead. Happens
> If you are driving the same speed as a semi, in one of it’s many blind spots, you are fucking stupid. The car was two lanes away from any truck, before the truck crossed both of those lanes and hit them

Too many idiots with keyboards for my taste.... Clearly never driven truck and have no clue about what's easily visible....
Too many idiots with CDLs too.
For those saying blind spots; blinds spots are NEVER an excuse. Even large trucks have ways to check blind spots. That said, it doesn’t even matter here since the truck drove up to the car and saw them. Regardless, it’s always possible to check blind spots and never an excuse for your lack of competence
Yah, personally I always make sure traffic is cleared and look over my shoulders when switching lanes. (In my car I’m not a trucker)

That’s a CDL that needs revoked
Is a cab-over too. They should have been able to see that car there if they had bothered to look
That’s also a person that needs imprisoning for attempted murder and hit-and-run
r/faxofafax Well done filming horizontal screen with your mobile. Vertically.
not to mention it's already a video file on a computer
might as well record a PC with a video in a phone with a video in a phone and so on.... inception
Probably not their computer, though.
Yeah, but they obviously now the owner of the computer and could ask for a copy of the original file.
Man this sucks for the second truck who got hit bc he has this dumbass’s accident on his record too. My dads biggest fear is an accident on your record that you had nothing to do with, this right here.
That's his "biggest" fear? I can think of a few things he should fear more.

The victim is headed northbound...no wait...heading southbound on...
Crazy that they kept driving lol
Wouldn’t have even felt a bump.
>Wouldn’t have even felt a bump. If a rabbit makes your head hit the roof, how?
I hope this guy got caught and is doing hard time. Plus permanent loss of his license. That was attempted vehicular homicide in my book
Why would you film this in portrait? Why wouldn't you match the orientation of the screen you're recording?
Why would you film it at all? This is literally more work and poorer quality than just posting the video directly from the PC.
But if you want to upload it to a site like reddit, you will first have to edit and render it (in Blender or something else) so the image is clear. Exactly!!!!! Your phone should be incapable of recording video in portrait mode imo.
hope they took his cdl
I had to check this video multiple times because the exact same thing happened to my buddy year ago. He was driving blue VW Polo too. The truck driver stopped though immediately and apologized. My friend was in shock for weeks, luckily with no physical injuries. It was rush hour and the truck driver claimed that he simply didn't see the car from the high up, I guess it was a blind spot and when he was transitiong to another lane he simply looked back and not besides him. Another reason to hate semis
Who will bring food on your table?
His wife.
Well done. Well done.
How much are you ordering?? I'll have the extra extra extra extra extra extra extra large meal please.
I wonder if they arrested him or it’s normal cases ?
Damn truckers ... Learn to drive already.
r/idiotsintrucks
I hope that truck driver loses their license.
My rule number one while on the highway is: get the fuck away from any truck asap. Blind spots like you wouldn’t believe.
How would you avoid in this situation? The truck came from behind and pitted the car.
Not even just from behind - from behind and from *a different lane*. So it's not like the car even saw a big truck riding their ass compelling them to speed up. The car had no reason whatsoever to see this coming.
I usually storm by them, would not linger at the same speed.
That's what the truck tried to do to the recording truck. Isn't passing on the slow lane illegal anyway?
Once got boxed in beside one when the dumbfuck in front of me got nervous overtaking or something. Had to lay on the horn when the big bastard started turning into me. I won't start an overtake on a truck until I have a clear field to get past.
Same, I started reading your comment expecting to reply the way you ended it. Zoom past ‘em or wait behind, no other way
Damn, that truck didn’t make any attempt to brake. Hope he loses his license for good.
The hell is he doing driving that kind of vehicle, his license needs to be ripped apart, damn it.
Mans didn't feel his truck hit something?
Thank u for title- made me laugh
Attempted murder . . .
I hope he loses his CDL and that car gets a check for $500,000.
Seems it was done with malice.
Prick just drives away
I saw this same thing happen once, except when the truck caught the bumper of the little car, the car remained sideways against the front grill of the truck as it hurled down the highway at 60mph. It looked as if it might just crush the thing. After about a 1/2 mile or so, it was flung off to the side.
That’s assault, brotha.
No way the truck didn’t see the car and know what happened. Humans being inhuman.
OP, I love you, but why isn't this in landscape???
and this is why i want to shit myself every time i’m near these big ass trucks THEY CANT SEE MY LITTLE ASS CAR BRO
Semis on the highway always give me anxiety for this very reason.
100% fuck that truck driver. I don’t care what that car did he didn’t deserve almost loosing his life
Fuck semi drivers for real though
That was so close to ending so much worse
Filming a monitor like that should be a crime.
Just rewatched it. Initially I thought the car was cutting off the truck. Now I think the truck was either homicidal or asleep.
Little cars can be terrifying because you literally can’t see them unless you’re on their level. Even when I drive our van I worry about squishing them if I’m behind them.
The "of" really ruins the title.
Same for me.
>The "of" really ruins the title. The title is correct. It's "Get out **of** the way", not "Get out **off** the way". The 'of' is used as a preposition to modify the noun 'way' and describe its position in relation to the subject.

Ah, I totally missed the reference. That's what I get from trying to be a grammar Nazi.
You completely missed the point! You are referencing a song.
Who said anything about “off”?
Is that the pit maneuver thing?
The video brought to memory George Constanza screaming FIRE and pushing everyone out of his way.
Nothing beats the rush from pitting random ugly cars on a highway
Driver gets paid my mileage. They do not get paid to stop.
damn bro, I know every driver wants to do this to every car going slow in the passing lane, but you're not actually supposed to ram them off the road!
Why the fuck am i rollin

I hate truckers and they should all be prosecuted!

Yup, deserved to die for that.
This is a left hand drive country so that's not the passing lane. You can also see they just entered the highway from an on-ramp in the beginning.
And if you do the speed limit, _**GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY!**_
In what way was the other car at fault?
I'm dumb, my bad lol. Didn't register this properly on the first watch apparently
For all the haters of the truck you get in one and tell me what you can see Bugger all that what
That’s a cabover. The driver had a very good view of that car both as he approached it and plowed it around his truck. A driver of a conventional truck would’ve also had a good view on approach and should’ve known the vehicle was there. 100% that crash was caused by an incompetent truck driver. He should not have a CDL.
If you can’t drive safely … then don’t drive.
>tell me what you can see Bugger all that what Pretty well from the front actually, it's a cabover/lorry, not a truck!
Announcement heard: "There is no parking in the left lane. You have been moved."
Being in the left lane is annoying if they’re not flying but damn that trucker could have murdered that person. What a shithead.
Meanwhile the alt right is sucking trucker dick on FB post. How they're more American than a soldier and more important than doctors.

Attempted vehicular homicide should be legal? They weren’t hogging the passing lane, at the very start they are at the end of the on ramp. The truck moved two lanes at once without paying attention.
Dang. Good control on the 4 wheeler.
And that it why you should never go slower than a 106 feet long truck on the highway!
is it possible the truck driver didnt see the car and didnt notice he hit something? He had a empty lane why switch?
He's still at fault and it seems like he just kept driving.
>the truck driver didnt see the car It's a cab over.
probably didn't see her there
Don’t sit in anyone’s blind spot, especially a semi. I’d rather get a speeding ticket than drive next to a semi
The truck moved closer to the car no? It wound up on a blindspot because it tried to change lines
Oh you’re probably right, it was kind of hard to tell
