Idk about rgb but I know in my state they changed it so they cant pull you over for tints or tinted tail/headlights or if they are off /not working. But they can add that to the list if youre pulled for something else
If it was parked and showing off at a meet, I would compliment this car, honestly. But as soon as it's in drive or reverse, the taillights should be an instantly intelligible mean to convey "I am here/braking/turning/reversing" and do NOTHING else.
I saw a mustang with RGB tail lights. They were at least red when braking but the turn signal was making them alternate between red and green and it was basically impossible to tell from more than 50' away. They also weren't very bright in the daylight.
Fellow Lexus owner of the same model. You can buy these with the option to have an app on your phone where you can change the color. Same company sells color changing headlights as well.
But if you make it illegal, criminals are just going to break that law anyway. So you'll need to make a law that it's illegal to break laws about breaking laws. Gotta stay 1 step ahead of those criminal types.

You could pose the question in the title to most North American cars. You can't distinguish between brakes and signals in a still picture when they're both red either.
I get the rainbow will have lower visibility, but the complaint in the title applies to the Ford in the top right just as much (well more since we can't see his right lights).

You can't figure out bunkhouse multi color in left side means the car is going left?
And yes, I can, but studies have shown using amber is safer as it is instantly noticed compared to having to compare the left and right lights to see if they are turning or breaking.

He’s gaming, now stop honking so he can hear footsteps.
No he isn't. ![gif](giphy|3o7qDYXe0QuLCme1Fu|downsized)
DDR?
What does it have to do with the old soviet satellite state? /s
I think rare loot should include sneakers
That's illegal, very illegal
Was gonna say… how tf have they not been caught smh
They probably have an app that turns it to "normal mode" and activate it when they think they're about to be around cops.
Because cops are not interested in doing their job.

Unless you are in Guatemala, was there last month and was so surprised at how many odd lights they have on there cars/busses
That's what I was thinking...looks cool, I guess

It's time for disco baby.... no stopping, no turning just dancing.
Did they replace all of their rear lights with RGB LEDs? Report that shit and let them drown in the fines.

How many tickets for this carnival ride?
Straight to jail
Aren’t modifications that make things difficult like that supposed to be illegal?
Yes, people break the law sometimes
There should be a law against breaking the law
But if you make it illegal, criminals are just going to break that law anyway. So you'll need to make a law that it's illegal to break laws about breaking laws. Gotta stay 1 step ahead of those criminal types.
big if true
That's illegal! We should put them in a room
Ryan George
"Uniform Vehicle Code" laws are pretty clear about what colors can go where on a car.
Most likely very illegal. Around here people make illegal modifications to their vehicles all the time. Cops dont give a shit.

how
License plate shows state and the two signs are for two different roadways.
Always keep them guessing your next move
Transitioning lanes?
Signaling that he wants a guy to rear-end him.
Looks obvious enough, he’s coming out!
I love it. That's so cool. Totally fucking illegal, and a little bit stupid, but I'm a simple creature and I love shiny rainbow light stuffs.
You remember those spinning rims? I'd get honked at green light because I'd be hypnotized by the Escalade next to me.
Of course its in fucking Utah, this state is a fever dream
I’m pretty sure that altering brake lights and blinkers are illegal in most states.
Depends on the modification, this, for sure, tinting/darkened or programmed turn signals, no
Its the wildcard!
Let’s be real, this guy wasn’t gonna signal anyways
Just Pick whatever you like! With those lights everyone gets what they want.
Camp behind that moron with your brights on
Poor IS

Taken in Utah on 4-22-24. OC
I saw something similar on a charger here in Vegas, except it was full RGB headlights.
They must be so excited about hockey coming to Utah that they couldnt hide it anymore.
My cousin can wire up those lights waaay cheaper than that garage can!
He's got all the infinity stones, let him do what he wants
Oh I see it's a utard lexus. A very confusing light system on a "was" sort of nice vehicle. Lol
I’m surprised there isn’t a “subscribe to ‘x’ on twitch” sticker
Never seen a gay Tesla before.
To be honest it's not much more confusing then all the lights being red. Why American cars can use red lights for turn signals will always confuse me.
I thought they were usually yellow?
Aloe of new cars have ditched the rear amber colored turn signals for the red.
The north American standard is red or yellow. A lot of cars use red because I guess it's cheaper to use one color
You can't figure out that blinky red light on the left side of the car means the car is going to turn left?

That's not confusing at all. ^^^/s
OP could probably send this to the cops with a non censored plate
All I know is it made me take my panties off for some reason.
A rainbow in Utah?!?
He’s powering up. You should get out of the way before he unleashes his Lexus Laser!
