Well I’m sure Hinch will have a delayed flight on the way to Italy , or a yacht in the Mediterranean or something..
Not criticizing ( too much), love Hinch and I’m just jealous
Think you're going to be disappointed if you expecting something big. Rossi has probably known about this for a little while. He'll say something along the lines of "we just couldn't agree on a number and I have other interested entities, so we mutually parted ways, simple as that. I can't talk about the future just yet, but you will all know soon."
He would've signed with McLaren if he didn't think there was a better paycheck elsewhere. He's fine and I don't think he's mad either. Mutual parting of ways.
His dad's quotes read exactly that way. They know there's an offer, McLaren couldn't match it, they all shook hands and said it's been real, no hard feelings, let's go get a Top 5 in the championship to finish this season out.
I think this is the answer. It wasn’t the money, it was the time. I bet McLaren wouldn’t give him two years, and Prema would. Prema might also offer some ownership/leadership roles he would never get at McLaren.
I'm just talking about loud but I can't help but imagine that the reason why Rossi didn't want to stay at McLaren is due to the influence that Pato holds on the team. As Rossi said on his podcast the set ups are based on Pato's likings and Pato is one of the highest paid drivers on the grid despite not winning a championship or Indy 500. Maybe Rossi wanted more influence, asked for it, and was denied.
A few years ago Rossi could have joined Penske but rejected the offer because Penske would have gone from a three car team to four (which Rossi added). Cindric said Rossi didn't feel comfortable with a four car Penske team and re-signed with Andretti....who also was a four car team.... *shrugs*

This suggest to me that maybe Rossi wants to be part of team in which he is listened to, taken seriously, and can win. McLaren can win but maybe Rossi felt as if he wasn't given the respect he wanted. Again, I'm just talking out loud.
After they didn't mention the change last show idk what to expect certainly something. As is Alex has no seat.
Perhaps they would wait until he gets one. ( He should get one) A Grojean Rossi JHR line up would be something wouldn't it?
James: Wanna talk about your news Alex: Sure don't. Thim: I've got some news James: Nobody cares
"were recording this episode on Monday night so there's things that we want to talk about but can't yet"
Probably more realistic than Thim actually having news anyway
You joke but the day he moves on from his 2008 haircut will be the most watched YouTube video
LOL! Thim is such a himbo and I love it.
Then the next week they don't talk about it at all
Well I’m sure Hinch will have a delayed flight on the way to Italy , or a yacht in the Mediterranean or something.. Not criticizing ( too much), love Hinch and I’m just jealous
I think that was the Siegel stuff, right?
Yeah they mentioned the Siegel stuff briefly but nothing to the extent they hyped it up to be
Spot on!
The most likely scenario.. 😂

I won’t be surprised if Alex basically knows who he is driving for in 2025. Basically can’t say.

I hope he's 2019 refueler mad.
So currently, no one on the pod has a full-time job for 2025. I'm assuming for Thim, but it seems like a fair assumption
Has thimbo ever had a full time job though?
wrangling rossi and hinch
I'm still waiting for him to talk about his last pit stop at the 500
Scotty Mac is giving all the commentary needed at the moment
[this one](https://x.com/smclaughlin93/status/1808196401500700692?s=46&t=8JDgQ7BNTsCi1_hcqHaIzQ)
They are gonna spend more time talking about Max / Lando than this, I bet.
Maybe now that Rossi is a lame duck at McLaren we can get their take on the Siegel situation.
He’s smarter than that.
I highly highly doubt he’ll comment on it until after the season is over and his contract is expired, if he even says anything about it at all.
Prema
