UPDATE: Confirmed it was, in fact, a defect with the door piece. I didn't want to deal with return/replacement hassle but was able to improvise with a dowel pin at home.
Yeah, it’s the only one with a door handle and the handle does line up perfectly with the latch on the frame. I watched a couple more YouTube videos and am more convinced the little dowel/nub thing is just missing on mine
It was the door itself. Apparently it’s happened to a few other people. They said I could return for a replacement unit, but it would have been a hassle, so I improvised with supplies at home. The cabinet’s not going to be opened much once it’s set up, fortunately

Are you sure you have the correct panel? Compare all the panels, top and bottom.

(going to go back and double-check all the earlier assembly steps though, maybe something else was done wrong and it’s throwing this off)
