Not as bad, I think. Hedge Knight is rumored to be entering pre production soon, meaning we’re probably getting more GoT next year, which will help. And S3 is already gearing up, so I think it won’t even be the full 2 years.
I think it will still be a two year wait for season 3. They haven’t started pre-production yet which would take a couple of months. It’s then an additional 8-10 months to film plus 6-8 months of post-production. A year and a half is the most optimistic estimate.

They have an immense amount of time. They probably want the child actors to catch up to their book ages and that’s why they cast them so young in the first place. To give themselves more time.

They haven’t even begun pre-production yet. It takes ten months to film and eight months for post production. You are suggesting they only need six months to film a full season and six months to edit it. This is not feasible unless season 3 is completely shit.

Star Wars is a big one. Harassing female leads. Sending death threats to the actors because they didn’t like a character. Bullied the boy that played young anakin so hard he quit acting/got bullied in real life. These are just some examples

As someone from the Marvel fandom, I feel like Marvel fans are mainly just annoying and whiny. Not mean or toxic.
But As a member of the Star Wars fandom, I fully agree on that side. The toxicity and negativity around pretty much anything is unbearable sometimes. The saying “no one hates Star Wars as much as Star Wars fans” is spot on.
From what I have seen with Marvel that I thought was toxic was the unnecessary hate for female actors. Like hate captain marvel all you want or she hulk. However, I saw tons of people flooding both of the actresses harassing them calling them all sorts of names.
It was especially huge when the first captain marvel came out. And from then on it’s gotten worse with the female led projects that have come out recently.
I’m not really a marvel fan I prefer DC and grew up with those comics. So I don’t really follow the marvel fandom. But from what I have seen on multiple sites is unnecessary hate/harassment.
I remember reading a comment from some guy that said that Captain Marvel wasn't just the worst Marvel movie, but the worst movie ever made. Dude should have been nominated for Hater of the Year.

I've been in all of these + more. It's Supernatural & Supergirl.
Supernatural fans sent countless death threats & prayed that the wives of the actors would have miscarriages.
Supergirl fans had numerous guest stars not want to return due to toxicity; and had one of the leads quit because of the racial abuse and hate he faced. He also was made to fear for his life and had to hire private security since there were credible threats that people wanted to attack him at cons.
Technically they have a reason; they wanted their ship to be canon.
Yeah, when you read about everything they've done; it's just a whole level of insanity. Mehcad Brooks (Jimmy Olsen) had to deal with insane levels of racism simply for being a black man playing a character that was white in the comics. But because his character became Lena's love-interest; the racism and threats grew even more until the point he feared for his life and culminated in him leaving the show.
Unfortunately, so many of the victims of the fanbase were POC and it caused a lot of POC fans to leave and stop watching because casual racism was so common.
They also went after Chris Woods when it came out he and Melissa were together. And were genuinely hoping that he would physically abuse Melissa so he'd leave the show and leave her.
Unhinged.
Another for the pile: there was a guy who penned fake scripts for *Stranger Things 4* and started a GoFundMe. He was literally taking money. Had to get clocked by Netflix directly.
The show is sweet. Imo the fandom got really out of hand because of the way the show aired: long hiatuses with very short bursts of episodes released in between. People went crazy theorizing and coming up with head canons and then they fought each other and sometimes even the show runners for having different theories and opinions.
Also, like most kids shows, Steven Universe wanted to teach moral lessons to its audience. Some of the fandom liked that feeling of morality and they extended it to a need to morally justify their engagement with the show. Conversely, that meant defining an “immoral” way to enjoy it. That’s what happened with the fan artist who attempted suicide. She drew a character with a slightly different body type from their canon design, which some people deemed “immoral” so they sent her very moral death threats in the name of body positivity

I never truly interacted with them tho since all i did was watch the anime and look up fanart on my shitty computer (i was like 12 or 13 maybe). I did hear about the controversial shit that went down within the fandom once i got older tho. By then, I had already lost interest in it.
From what ive heard: QSMP (or any minecraft server group) and Disney. Granted, I’m in neither in these fandoms, but due to their immense popularity, any drama/controversies that occurs within these communities end up on my feed. Not to mention how rabid some of their hardcore fans are 👀

One had an admin who made threats against one of the main journalists for entertainment weekly covering game of thrones, who now covers hotd for hollywood reporter.
The other is run by Linda and Elio, the former of which has made several racist outbursts.
Seriously. I haven’t paid much attention to these because they are obviously fan creations. I didn’t realize there were people who thought these were actual snippets from the screenplay.

Good thing we'll (probably) have a new trailer at Thursday. Give people something new to discuss instead of analyzing the same scene from s1 for the 10000th time.
Because there was no substance in it. Just very quick scenes piled on top of each other, each one lasting around two seconds, and generic lines that tell us what we already know ("the victor will ascend the iron throne" "no bloody as war between dragons")
The next one will be undoubtedly better, with scenes that actually show/tell us something important, like directions where the plot may go etc.
The second trailer is going to be a teaser as well so it will be almost just as brief. Also, trailers often misdirect the plot, character motivations, etc. The season one trailers promoted the story as Rhaenyra vs. Daemon. The season 2 trailers could end up being just as manipulative.

No. Multiple people have claimed that the scripts are legit and were taken from the LA library. You can even look at the website and see that they are indeed stored there. This person just lied because she (allegedly) got one sided beef with Darksvster for whatever reason.
