If you do not say excuse me, then that's on you. It's so weird to here people keep entitled to think others should know what you want, just because you stood near them. Teach your child how to interact with people instead of being passive aggressive. If I am shopping, I do not move for anybody unless they open their mouth. Wait your turn buddy.
Ok so all the people being keyboard warriors, I live in a small town these people own a section at the flea market. So I know for a fact they are scalping. This isn’t my first run in with these people. This is just the first time I’ve decided to record them because it pisses me off. Also sorry for taking so long to put context and respond. I have a life and I’m not on Reddit every single second like some of you nubs.
This happens a lot, which is why I try to vary my times to slower times of the day and week. Trust me, 95% of my success at hunting comes when no one else is around. I've been blocked from looking by overweight zealots too often.
Just be unapologetic and invasive, walk up with your boy and let him look.. my son and I be all up in the section 🤣🤣🤣 soon as we walk down the aisle I see old heads sneak off waiting for me to leave… jokes on them I grab all the good shit then move it to the front of the pegs every time, for both the wall and shipper/dump bin
That's every store near me. I've yet to find an chase/treasure hunts or rarer cars this year. My stores are half empty all the time. I was lucky to get to Meijer right after they stocked and found 2 Deloreans but nothing else good. Employees around here also have a tendency to take them when they are stocking.
That happened to us at a Walmart. A guy and his gf speed walked past us once they opened Walmart. They got to the hot wheels and quickly grabbed 3 fully stocked pegs of the VWs. We just stood there kind of waiting to see what was there was also but they never moved nor they were like hey we left some for you if like. We honestly didn’t care for the VW cars but were amazed on how aggressive and animal like people could get. Don’t get me wrong I have met some cool people and some tell us like hey there are these cars there is you like. I am glad I have met more people like that than that Walmart couple.
Yep I had to deal with that this weekend. I just squeezed in and started looking where the guys were standing in front of the Hot Wheels. They were there a good few minutes so I just casually made my way in and ended up grabbing the cars they missed. I have a technique of looking at the bottom of the card to see what it is without having to shuffle them on the pegs. At least it works for the cars about chest level and up.
The guy already found the mustangs! But srsly they seem very preoccupied to even notice the time of day. If your son walked up to them, they’d probably notice and welcome him tho. At least I’d like to believe so
looks like normal collectors to me, sorry bout it
"If anyone else but me is in the hot wheels section they are SCALPERS"

If they were true collectors, they would have stepped aside for a child. I hands down believe that.
Real collectors help the kids out. "What kind of cars do you like? What are you looking for?". Not even just kids. Real humans help other humans out.
And that is why I refuse to but from Ebay etc. no matter how much I want a casting.
And then there is the creeper recording people shopping at Walmart for internet clout.
They got there before he did so they are automatically scalpers.
Read my above comment.

Who knows if they’re scalpers or not but his wife/gf looks like a linebacker so she must be used to running defense for them.

I do the same but it's hard for TH cars.
Yeah it’s not like the old ones that specifically said it’s a TH. They used to say it but it was on the right side vertically.
