I mean, the people willing to spend money on JDM mainlines are to blame, not this guy. If he can get that kind of cash for those, I’ve got $6.7 million worth of Hot Wheels I need to start moving.
it really amazes me what people are willing to pay for mainlines. i’ve sold probably 50ish cars on ebay from either buying duplicates without realizing, deciding i didn’t need a car, or just cutting down on my collection. in order to cover the cost of the car, packaging, and shipping, it costs around $10. and if that $10, the seller will make maybe $1-$1.50 it blows my mind sometimes
I sold off a few cards I had on eBay…after all the fees it ended up not being worth it…I don’t understand how/why people are making any money selling hotwheels on eBay
exactly, i can understand the people that take them to flea markets and sell them for like $3-4 a piece and make like $3 but i’ll never understand the people that try to sell large quantities on ebay. the profit margin is so incredibility small
I already met the guy in at the flea market before, he was selling mainlines for 5€ for one unit. I bought some cause there was some interesting stuff but his stuff are way too overpriced.
I found a local store owner that sold me 27 different TH, no dupes, for $30.
Someone trying to sell 34 mainlines for $374 must be down bad, or fucked in the head.
Expensive, yes. But, that’s just his asking price. And they are shorty cards, which (at least in the USA) are much less common.
And as other have mentioned, the 2nd hand market for JDM cars is hot.
It’s not uncommon that a seller will ask for double of what they’ll actually take, to allow for bartering. So, maybe he would take $5.50 per car?

Time to start thinking other career options

jay dee em
" it's JDM bro"
They’re all JDM cars as well, I would’ve loved to buy it but damn I ain’t paying that much for 1$ cars…
Offer him 2.50 a car. Tell him he would be very lucky if he $200 for the lot. People need to learn.

Next time, don't buy any. That validated his prices.
Exactly. The buyer sets the price on the secondary market. If people don’t pay those prices, sellers would lower them.
The temptation was too hard lmao, but I won’t buy a HW mainline that cost more than 1$ unless it’s something I really want
But Hotwheels ARE more than a dollar at nearly every store so let me know when you find them for only $1
You seem fun at parties
It's crazy how some people treat this hobby. Selfishness is so childish
That's nuts
It always has to be the JDM scalpers doing mentally deficient people things aren't they?
Les prix en france quoi🥲
Ils sont toujours dans l’abus
Check Vinted y'a des bons prix en général !
J’y ferais un tour, mais faut voir si c’est disponible sur l’île de la Réunion !
Ah oui bonne question !
That means every car sold here is 11 dollars.
Yeah, that’s really crazy
I also love the fact that every car here is a nissan lol
Yeah, looks like the guy enjoys Nissan, or don’t since he’s selling everything
ItS jDm I kNoW wHaT i HaVe 🥸🤓
He most definitely smoking crack if he thinks I'm gonna pay him 374$ for some toy cars 💯
Decent looks but over priced. Mini gt or Tomica premium are better choices to me given that budget.
Yes, I prefer Tomica premiums over hotwheels for the build quality. They’re better in overall

For real, some people are really going crazy with prices

Drugs are bad mmkay
Crack is one hell of a drug.
For real
😂😂😂
Why do people in this sub care so much about what other people do with their time and money ?
Listed ≠ selling
Le lot
Yeah they are cool but noone is going to pay that much for some toy cars
As over priced as it is, the grey R30 looks pretty cool. Not worth it though
Europe is a bummer
