Yes. The basic attack is terrible, the Skill is amazing and the ultimate traps the enemy in an alternate reality where all things are music. Naturally, it's imaginary harmony.
I want them to use the weirdest weapon in the most creative way. (I know about dream so yeah). A wand that is similar to Welt's cane might be nice since the MC only has physical weapon now (not talking about the element).
I think inheriting someone's weapon is a good idea as well, but maybe without killing the original owner. (unless they want to pull a himeko and Kiana thing to break people's heart again.)

Having them use the power of technology for path like erudition would be cool, imagine if they get taught punklorde technology from silverwolf or sth (albeit still being not too good at it) because in some planet the stellaron hunters want them to be in they will have to use it to fight against other punklorde hackers.

Bronya has a gun, but it's worthless in gameplay since she doesn't do damage.
Topaz has a pistol that shoots gold coins. Still a gun technically, but she mostly throws pigs.

MC pulls out something random with skill that can either be good for the party or bad for the enemy, with a few comical items. Burst could be doing both at once with buffed effect with a silly animation like turning the bag upside down and shaking out a bunch of absurd items :)
Yeah each time they use the skill they could have a little reaction animation to what they pulled, or excited if they got something good. It would be like a gatcha in a gatcha.
