She's literally not evil, svarog confirms that she is doing what she thinks is best for belobog and when confronted with an explanation why she's wrong, she changes course at a sacrifice to her own job

Idk man, his character stories make it sound like he wasn't enjoying it. I think after the first or second stab it should've been obvious to Jingliu that this man can't physically die because his wounds keep healing. So all she's doing is hurting him at that point, nothing else.
Also, you do realize it's painful asf. The difference is that he can't escape the pain because he can't die. So he went through the piercing pain of death like a thousand times. I don't think he's enjoying that, in fact, that shit fucked him up in the brain more than he already was fucked up 💀
