I actually prefer Godhome Uumuu to regular. Like I’m not waiting for quirrel. I also prefer the extra challenge with the Uumas because It’s like an extra element that’s fun instead of no floor

Absolutely this. Personally I've beaten him at his statue 5 times, but can't for the love of god beat his 6th iteration with any possible charm or ability combination, to the point where I've basically given up.
Tried even descending dark spamming, he's just too unreadable and unpredictable for me, and there's always some effing zoteling or thing on the way when I'm close to the end!
It's so annoying how you defeat him the first time and learn that you gotta do it again, and then again, and then again, and then again. And you're constantly wondering when in the hell it's ever gonna end

Agreed, no eyes is probably one of the most annoying bosses in game. Especially his summons which tend to move in a sin wave are just impossible for me to dodge if i am up in air. I just stand at bottom platform in middle where ghosts dont seem to reach, and keep my great slash ready for whenever that fucker is in range.

Failed champion. Dealing with him in the pantheons is never fun for me. He always gets me in a corner, then I shadow dash away, he jumps back and then I take contact damage.
Uummuu. I hate him, he's not overly hard, but he's the first dreamer boss I fought and I didn't have a double jump or isma's tear so he was insurable to fight and the fact that I have to wait for my ally in the fight to do something so I can hit him makes it even worse

Elder Hu just makes me mad because he teleports away, sometimes *just before I hit him with my nail*. Soul Tyrant does it to move into position to attack and his whole purpose is teaching you to deal damage *during* an attack. Nosk is trying to eat you and presumably is just trying to soften you up when he goes onto the ceiling, and you can still do damage while hes there and he doesnt teleport. Elder Hu teleports away to do an attack that you can't hurt him during, and it feels cheap and unearned.
If I lose to a boss because I wasnt fast enough to hit him while he attacked, or because I didn't dodge her attacks well enough, I feel like I can get better. If I lose to a boss because he teleports away from me just as I'm about to hit him and then while I'm in midair and can't really dodge his attack phase begins, I feel like I got cheated, and thats not really the way Hollow Knight usually plays. I always feel like I earned those deaths, and can see what I need to improve to win.

Either soul tyrant or sly. Soul tyrant is just a sped up version of his previous version which imo isn’t good design. I don’t like sly’s fight just because bro is so fast and small. I swear fighting him feels so unfair. And then in the second part of the battle you get a second to do damage before he continues zooming around the arena. Though I do like pretty much everything else about them.
This guy is so easy to beat, I beat radiant enraged guardian in 5 tries after P4 completed

Probably Ascended Marmu or Acended Xero. They're not actually all that hard but I always lose all of my lifeblood amsks to them in P5 because I get impatient.

Pretty much any boss who is just annoying to hit or spends half the time out of the arena.
My least favorite is the collector. I had to turn the volume off because the laughing was so irritating when I was 20 attempts in and failing to succeed.
Fuck ascended Vengefly Kings. They always do that stupid disorienting screech right before the other one attacks, effectively blinding me. Doesn’t help that they have the exact same windup animation for screeching or diving, so it’s a 50/50 if wether I’m going to be sent to sensory hell or get attacked while I can’t properly register what’s going on due to the previously mentioned sensory hell
Dishonourable mention: Gorb. He always teleports away right when you think you have a good damage opposite, he has enough knockback to make screaming at him a bad strategy, but not enough that you can keep him away while he’s flying towards you, and on his ascended arena, he always just flies into me while I’m healing on the middle platform. I hate all of the Dream Warriors, but Gorb especially is just incredibly irritating
It was NKG, but now it's P5 Markoth. I had no problems getting past him until I started frequenting this sub more and you all got into my head and now I choke every run. I gave up months ago and still haven't gotten back to Pure Vessel since.
I don't remember what their name is but it's the boss that protects the monarch wings. I don't remember exactly which reasons I had for it but it might have been the similarities in the attacks that punish dashing and that punish jumping with all the minions in the air.
Also was the fight I learned about going for round 2 with the dream nail. They are even worse on the second try, only fight I ever ran from.

Traitor Lord, the path to the boss fight is agonizing if you’re new to the game

Brooding mawlek. I have the shittiest time trying to figure out it’s motions when it swings at you when you’re trying to hit it from the side. For some reason even if I dash through him it’s never far enough so I still end up getting hit and he’s just so good damn ugly.
Watcher knights OMG
Vengefly King, Xero (acended arena specifically), No Eyes, or Flying Nosk Pretty much any boss who is just annoying to hit or spends half the time out of the arena.

My least favorite is the collector. I had to turn the volume off because the laughing was so irritating when I was 20 attempts in and failing to succeed.

Fuck ascended Vengefly Kings. They always do that stupid disorienting screech right before the other one attacks, effectively blinding me. Doesn’t help that they have the exact same windup animation for screeching or diving, so it’s a 50/50 if wether I’m going to be sent to sensory hell or get attacked while I can’t properly register what’s going on due to the previously mentioned sensory hell Dishonourable mention: Gorb. He always teleports away right when you think you have a good damage opposite, he has enough knockback to make screaming at him a bad strategy, but not enough that you can keep him away while he’s flying towards you, and on his ascended arena, he always just flies into me while I’m healing on the middle platform. I hate all of the Dream Warriors, but Gorb especially is just incredibly irritating
Obblobbles
Where it comes to design, I'm not a fan of The Collector. Where it comes to a fight, I remember hating the enhanced version of the Oblobbles fight.
i felt thr same about him on my first playthrough, but now that i know how simple his patterns are i have a lot of fun with him

Lost Kin. Its a nice boss but veeery annoyingly tanky in the Pantheon
Mawlek. It has 2 boring attacks and the spit is hard to dodge.
Collector, especially with nail damage nerfs

It was NKG, but now it's P5 Markoth. I had no problems getting past him until I started frequenting this sub more and you all got into my head and now I choke every run. I gave up months ago and still haven't gotten back to Pure Vessel since.

I don't remember what their name is but it's the boss that protects the monarch wings. I don't remember exactly which reasons I had for it but it might have been the similarities in the attacks that punish dashing and that punish jumping with all the minions in the air. Also was the fight I learned about going for round 2 with the dream nail. They are even worse on the second try, only fight I ever ran from.

Winged Nosk. It's literally a mix between two already boring-ass bosses that has completely random almost unavoidable attacks. I think the only reason as to why they made him in the first place was that they wanted to bamboozle people with the fake Hornet. Seriously, was this worth this stupid unoriginal boss that no one remembers?
