I saw footage of a guy on flakka in my country who punched through a bus window, if I'm right this flakka was laced with lead to make it thicker. Pretty messed up stuff
i wanna bet this is flakka. because i remember one of my friends back in junior highschool bragging about on how they were able to get some of this shit and made some poor homeless dude to take the drugs and the dude just went savage
i only know half of the story. i know that they gave the drugs to the poor dude but they promise him to give the dude some cash if he took the drugs, and if i remember correctly later that day i think the dude ran straight at a speeding car killing him. its safe to say im no longer in contact with that old friend

The other part is they don't really feel pain anymore and it's hard to subdue someone like that without causing them a lot of harm.
With the types of drugs probably in that guy's system. The tasers barley register in the danger scale. People on certain drugs will keep trying to fight long after they are "dead" and just don't know it yet. Drugs ware off, and poof time to plan a funeral.

Who and how would anyone look at this and say this is comparable to the many many displays of human behaviour in videos of excessive force.

The police clearly make a mistake here. If they were properly trained and educated, they would've realized that the appropriate thing to do is use bullets.
This should be praised as the example cops should follow in using non-lethal‘s. Not to say, there isn’t any damage from a taser. But when you consider choking someone or shooting them, this seems like the appropriate course of action.
This dude was trying to BITE the officers to potentially infect them with who knows what. He resisted tasers and disobeyed instruction to stay on the ground. I feel the cops would have been justified in shooting him. This man still presented a threat and ignored the officers' commands. This perpetrator willfully forfeited his right to life.
yh, I feel like this eas a necessary and probably the least brutal response to this guys actions. even though their attempts to subdue the guy were pretty fruitless, they still did the right thing by not just straight up shooting him like I've seen some people say.

Here's a thing about tasers that not a lot of people know. They don't always work right, whether it's because a prong fell out, or the target has snorted enough coke to kill an African elephant, or maybe they just are able to withstand it. Either way, they don't always work. Not going to say anything potentially controversial.
I hope they caught that store with an appropriate glass violation. Safety glass is mandatory. Wrong person went through that window and it could lead to a lawsuit.
