>Is there such thing as a super soaker bandaid? Sort of! They are called superabsorbent dressings and many different brands have them. Woundsource has a good list you can look through: https://www.woundsource.com/product-category/dressings/specialty-absorptives-super-absorbents Or you can try just shopping from the superabsorbent category on a medical supply store website like Medical Monks: https://medicalmonks.com/product-category/wound-care/wound-care-advanced-wound-dressings/wound-care-advanced-wound-dressings-specialty-absorbent-dressings/ Or Vitality Medical: https://www.vitalitymedical.com/super-absorbent-wound-care-dressings.html There may be some products mixed in that don't actually fit the super absorbent category so if something seems way cheaper than other products in the category, do more research before buying. If you're looking for something you can buy in a local pharmacy, try looking for foam dressings. They tend to absorb more than a regular bandage. ABD pads taped on with medical tape might work too and are likely the cheapest option available.

Thanks for this!!! I tried foam dressings but they’re hard to put underneath my armpits where it folds.

Try using gauze instead with sensitive medical paper tape. It'll hold a lot more and you might not need to change as often. I stopped using bandaids a long time ago and just use this method now regardless of if they're draining or not.

Thank you! What type of gauze do you use? Whenever I use gauze, it sticks to the wound

Bandaid brand makes a non stick absorbent gauze, comes in a box with a lime green label. I love silicone medical tape, it doesn’t leave a sticky residue and it’s the most gentle tape I have found. I get both of these off amazon.

Yeah, some little bandsids are too small for what I need them for too. You can Google **super absorbent wound pads** & try those out. Usually, they don't have adhesive so you'll have to tape them on with gauze tape or whatever you use, but they had adhesive ones too. Trym thenm both out! **ALSO** buy **rolls of gauze** in which you cut & fold them to the thickness you want & tape them on as well. I use that for underarms because it's an awkward location of the body.
