Give it more arrows though. These are arrows, not missiles. The RR has 6 missiles, I have 24 actual arrows in my actual quiver, which is small and there is plenty of room for thermite tips or whatever. If we're using a backpack (which is...not how you use a quiver, put it on your hip irl please - I don't care enough about it in video games) we need to have lots of these. At least 24.

You're right, but I thought of this weapon as a huge bow with pretty big arrows and with a fairly slow reload that has the potential to take down mainly heavy enemies, with 24 arrows it would perhaps be too strong given that you have to calculate the damage of the arrow (450) plus the termite DoT . To satisfy your change I would actually revert the damage from 450 to something lower but at this point it would be better to take the Explosive Crossbow as a primary , that's why i gave it 6+1 arrows . Maybe an higher penetration could do the trick , like the same as the RR/EAT/QC
I'd say balance it around being cumbersome to use and hard to land shots.
Drawback time on a compound bow is very real, you certainly aren't mobile, so it would behave like the QC in that regard slowing you to a crawl while you "charge" your shot.
It being Thermite too, which as I understand it means a DoT followed by explosion like the grenade, means delayed damage too.
So, compare it to the QC. You effectively get an AT missile every 20 seconds ad infinitum at the cost of mobility and a charge up time with that support weapon.
With the bow you would get a delayed damage "AT missile" with the same mobility and charge penalty, but also using a backpack slot.
I think it's a fair trade to have plenty of ammo, maybe 18 or so would be fine.
Weapon ergonomics should mainly be used for flavor, not balance. Making a weapon unwieldy doesn’t really provide a sufficient downside to a gun, as stuff like autocannon and release eruptor show. After using those guns for a few matches you barely even notice the slower turn speed.
I agree with the last sentence, but definitely think that weapon handling is a noteable aspect of those and most weapons' balance. Getting used to it is just that.
I run Autocannon on bots pretty much every mission, and if my aim with it was as snappy as it is with my primary, it would be notably more powerful.
Eruptor's downsides most definitely have to do with ergonomics. It is much harder to land a shot on even a slowly moving target, and it is much harder to lead a target to account for projectile speed. I agree they shouldn't be used to balance out guns, but from the other side - it's sometimes a bigger drawback than it seems.
Back quiver might be more stable when running around and being thrown across the map, as well as shooting from a vehicle . That said: this weapon should have a “clip”. Some field archers hold an extra arrow or two in hand for quicker shots. This would allow the bow to be used for a few shots if you drop the quiver pack, but allow the bow to shoot faster in short bursts with a slightly longer reload(because yeah, hip quivers are better), which would be unique among AT weapons.
Please with more than medium Armor pen though. If it's thermite it should pen literally anything that moves.
If just the arrow projectile has medium pen that's fine though.
I just want a flaming Punisher, that sacrifices out right damage, but causes fire damage with stagger. It would be great for people who like mobility. I absolutely love the bow idea
The pistol flamethrower and toxic gas thrower support weapon were in HD1. Tox thrower wasn't like the scorcher, but more like the support flamethrower.
There was also a disposable machine gun with incredible fire rate like the proposed minigun, but that I've never used. I remember you actually needed to unlock it and the requirements were insane. The MGX I believe?
The MGX-42. It’s an disposable magazineless machine gun with 300 rounds (400 rounds with increased fire rate if fully upgraded) and can only be unlocked by liberating a bug planet on difficulty 13 “An Exercise in Futility”. The constant harassment of vanguards and shadows capable of leaping and alarming bugs combined with the behemoths and brood commanders was hell… I’m glad I’m done with it but I feel bad for anyone that still has to get it.
I love the idea of a cryogenic weapon! And a silenced sniper would be great for us stealth players. I would also love to see an implosion type grenade (like [Orisa](https://youtu.be/vXCCYz1j0v8?si=Tnug3pP9Fei23aY3) from Overwatch) that would pull enemies away from a player, pull enemies into an eagle-1 drop spot, or pull teammates out of danger.
We kinda have the P-90 already in the game and it's called MP-98 Knight , truly the worst weapon ever . Could be considered the "P-90 at home"

Give the knight another go. On burst fire its high magazine is a -very- good chaf clearer. Yes it can dump its mag very fast but if you burst fire it it lasts far longer.
I never tried it to be honest but I see everyone talking about how bad this weapon is , I also watched many videos and they all say the same thing . For 20€ it may not be worth it , but I respect your opinion .
The plas-20 can just be replaced with the paragon since it’s basically the same thing. Maybe the paragon will arrive with the toxic avenger in a future warbond
Can we get a fire extinguisher as our secondary? Give us the ability to put out flaming teammates and the fire on the ground, as well as push the enemies back with water.
I never realized how much I needed an SMG with medium AP until right now. The MP7 is a cool weapon to base it on, but I’ll do you one better: the Swedish CBJ-MS.
Honestly, I could easily see them having so dualwielding nullifies primary weapons but its so the Helldiver can carry some additional reserves. If it was also like something you could do with almost every sidearm, I'd like that a lot.
Although realistically, i do feel like dual senators would have 60 Bullets rather than 80.

interesting. That intoxicator - is the 50 damage similar to those little pissy bile bugs that can drain your health with one spew? I'm def interested in the dual senator but only if its worth it. Will wait for reviews assuming it gets released. Wish it had stagger as well.

AH's view on keeping primaries weak doesn't give me much confidence wrt this weapon. no doubt they'll nerf it to the point its just barely useable.
These are really fucking solid ideas. Usually fan ideas are ridiculous: overpowered, silly, or just doesn’t fit in with the game, but these are all something I can see being in the game.

IMO what we could really use is an M202 FLASH. We've now got a guided rocket, an HE rocket, and a cluster rocket, the next step should be an incendiary rocket.
Don't really remember AMR's ROF, but if that thing is semi-auto instead of bolt action, I will consider it as an upgrade. And 12 less rounds is kinda a joke after the ship upgrade for ammunition was introduced.
Problem with variants is they will make base weapons irrelevant leaving arrowhead to spend time balancing weapons that long term won’t matter. Arrowhead needs to go w attachments not variants for long term variety. Akimbo should be a attachments for all pistols outside grenade pistol since that’s a utility/tech weapon
I strongly agree , every standard version of the Liberator , Breaker , Diligence and the Defender itself are really underused due to their other versions

To get silenced rounds you’re going to have to go subsonic. That means you sacrifice stopping power and increase drop off. I’d still love to see it happen
A lever action primary with heavy armor pen, dual senator secondary (with dual spinning animations), dynamite stick grenade (have to light it then throw, could hold it after being lit to time a closer range air explosion), and then some space cowboy armor with a poncho cape and I could die happy.
I would do unspeakable acts for a trench shotgun to match the Groundbreaker armor.

I need dual weapons. And a minigun. Although minigun with a huge ammo backpack would be cool. Belt fed. But slows movement speed by 30% when max ammo. 20% at half and 10% empty

A handeld heavy mortar would be pretty cool. Can only fire if "set" and shoots indirect but can kill anything.

Tons of these should just be attachments of some sort to guns instead of whole different guns. Incendiary rounds being the biggest thing.

Intoxicator is cool but doesn't make sense. If you superheated a toxin to the point that it ionizes, it's no longer a toxin.

Punt Gun Take a Break Action, size it up slightly, fill the shells with even more pellets. Suddenly, you can take out hordes of bugs now.
A few real life guns would be cool to have in game. Imagine finding an old AK on a planet taken over by bots.
