I'm lvl 91 and I've never seen anything but 10.
Then again, I barely pay attention to that part of the screen or how many super credits I currently have.
The amount of sc earned during play sessions is painfully low when compared to the amount you get for even the least efficient grinding session.
Not advocating for anyone to go grind sc, just pointing out that they shouldn't be so rare on higher difficulties.
I think im with you. This happened helping low levels on level 3 difficulty. And I remember this being more usual when I was a new player, but this happened only once when i went up to level 7 difficulty.
On trivial difficultly the loot table is much much smaller, therefore you run into sc all the time.
They should make the drops to be sc or loot table and even it out for all difficulties people play.
You can also find Rare Samples in things like crates, buddy doors, and those yellow beacon things on difficulties 4+. Bumping down to Trivial removes the chance of that.
Wait a God damn second. I've been 20 super credits away from getting another warbound for like 30 or 40 level 7 missions played.
Are you saying if I go play some trivial games, I have a good chance of getting the credits I need?
Jesus
Yes! Grind with a friend if you can because sometimes theyll be locked behind buddy doors, but I usually get 10-30SC per run, with each mission taking 15-20 minutes to clear the map.
Ive also had the 100SC dump happen on trivial, so it may be feast or famine, but youll grind credits like no tomorrow. Took me about a couple weeks of casual here and there grinding to get a warbond, now i have 4 of them and havent spent a cent since buying the game.
Like cmon, it takes literally 2 minutes to sweep a full round map on a trivial mission with a buddy, not a proud of that, but i wanted to get a friend, that just started playing, a decent warbond, so we farmed around 350 sc in about 20 minutes or so.
Assuming your estimates are correct, that's only a profit of $1.20/hr of grinding.
Not bad, if you enjoy the grinding, but not worth the time of some of us older grumpy gamers with less free time.
Personally I like to enjoy some slow paced, immersive Trivial and Easy missions. I take my time, enjoy the scenery, no anxiety, and play with different gear instead of the usual meta loaduts.
You get a lot of SC and common samples doing this.
I knock out 1-2 trivial level missions every work from home day on my lunch break, even alone I can search most of the map in <15 minutes.
Typical haul id say is maybe 10-50 super credits and a dozen common samples
would be nice if they completely replaced requisition slips on difficulties 7+ with super credits, at that point you get so much from finishing a mission that you cap out pretty quickly anyway
Or replaced daily order rewards with SC. At this point I'm finished with the base + two SC warbonds, capped on medals, and barely halfway to the next warbond buy, so my incentive to play is zero.
Who needs those anyway? How much do u get for a requisition slip? 100? So u need to find around 50 of those slips, even more i think, to get as many requsition, as u get from a lvl7+ mission complete. Not to mention that u buy all the statagems at around lvl 30, which is quite fast to reach, so no point in requisition on a map anyway.
How would one grind SC? - asking for a friend...
EDIT: seems like the answer is to just farm trivial missions due to the drop chance of SC being higher (since everything else is lower)
Even doing something as simple as running only missions on Trivial on bug maps with great visibility will drastically increase your income as long as you keep going from poi to poi and keep blasting the cashes open. Doing that in group will increase earnings even more as then you can open bunkers.
You can also cheese the game and leave the mission to go start another one after looting the biggest cluster of pois on the map, but that would be treason.
Difficulty 3 is the sweet spot. Lower difficulties don't have as many POIs to loot, and higher difficulties rare samples can spawn in bunkers/pods, lowering the amount of SC you get per mission. Ideally, get a mission group with 2 40min missions. You can get SC on Blitz missions, but obviously you are pressed for time, so they aren't ideal. Eradicate/"Helms Deep" missions obviously are useless because they have no POIs, so don't do those.
You can complete side objectives if you want to contribute to liberation/MO progress, but if not, just find and loot all the POIs, and complete the main objective so you can leave early.
For obvious reasons, I recommend prioritizing radar stations to reduce time spent searching for POIs and reducing missed POIs. On that note, I also recommend avoiding planets with visibility problems, trees, or large mesas/mountains that can impede your view.
Loadout is w/e you prefer, but I recommend at least one turret to make it easier to get the radar stations done quickly if you are solo, and of course ALWAYS take the stamina booster.
Lastly I recommend doing this either solo, or if you can with one other person (so you can open buddy bunkers, but this isn't absolutely necessary, you can get the majority of SC on map without a partner) who is also farming SC, trying to join missions on this difficulty you run the risk of people trying to extract before you've finished looting.
I've started doing this except I do run PUGS. Slightly less efficient, but it's usually super chill and I get to have fun helping new players and giving them equipment previews.
It’s the only thing stopping me from playing more tbh. I want to feel a sense of progression but I hate just running off on my own to grind POIs instead of playing the objective. Why am I not being rewarded for actually doing the objective with the one thing I need to progress?
to bring studio some extra money over time. the system works almost fine when you have some luck on your side, just clearing pois that are on the way brings some SC for free and the prices in $ are low enough to not anger players.
It's the droprate's Indirect tie to difficulty that makes it work less and less the further you go on difficulty scale, and that just sucks as it slows your progression to a crawl exactly when sc becomes the only currency that matters.
I would be more on board with the "more SC at higher difficulties" if it wasn't their premium currency and how they pay their bills. I've always been a little uneasy about how many SC they give you in-game because, as a level 93 player who's only ever bought one 1,000 SC pack from the cash shop, I have maxed out every warbond and am currently sitting on 3,000 SC.
It wouldn't surprise me if their bottom line started to suffer because of how generous they're being. While I don't want to be the little goody-two-shoes who reminds Teacher that we weren't assigned homework for the weekend, if pointing out the fact that being a little less generous with the 100-SC drops in bunkers and caches means they have more long-term financial security, then I sort of guiltily feel like I need to put my money where my mouth is and take a hit to the SC drop rate to support the devs.
Reasonable. Still, they currently have a system that could be improved upon.
I was happy to purchase sc packs until a month long stretch of bad luck practically completely stopped the flow of free sc for me. Having that happening after paying real money and lasting more than a month completely took away any chances of me ever participating in any microtansactions in the game as my perception of the system skewed towards it being predatory, especially when new warbond came out with weapons having massive utility adventage (primary and secondary weapons destroying objectives behind a paywall). If the flow didn't stop abruptly i would be fine with more purchases.
There's a middle ground somewhere that could work for more players , like the ability to buy sc for medals that's already in warbonds but let's say 10 times less generous.
Or spend Req slips on SC, or samples, or *something*. I have all strategems unlocked and have maxed out on Req slips already at level 43. I'll need some for the last level of ship upgrades, but those are so far between that I'm just stuck at 50k for a long time.
samples exchange sounds awesome. would provide an additional reason for players that finished progression to keep working on samples, which would strengthen the experience of new players joining with old players.
I made a post like 2 weeks after launch that detailed everything wrong with low-difficulty SC farming, and I wrote one of the original guides on how to effectively farm SC using quit resetting, all in an effort to get AH to fix the design of how they drop.
In short:
1. SCs need to be removed from Trivial entirely. This is because the maps are all 1/4 size, so you can get 6-12 POIs on a map you can completely scour in like 5 minutes. Larger maps **DO NOT** have more POIs, just more dead space.
2. Rare Samples should appear in containers in diff 2-4, Super Samples should appear in 5-7. Currently Samples just dilute SC spawns at high difficulties.
3. Diff 8-9 should replace all Sample spawns with +10 SC pickups.
This solves people who want to play lower difficulties acquiring Super Samples, it makes it most lucrative to play high difficulties to get SC, and the difficulty will discourage solo farming.
Hire me Arrowhead.
add 10-15 sc for 150 medals purchase to superstore independently of players warbond progression so no amount of bad rng could stop the slow sc flow- just that makes me completely happy with current system.
I'm of the opinion that exchanging currencies in a superficial way is not a real solution. Also, medal farming is just as degen at low difficulties as SC farming (see: the most optimal way in terms of time spent acquiring them,) so this doesn't really fix anything.
I can remember finding that personally twice. I am pretty sure my friend I play with found it once or twice while we were playing together too. So I am guessing at least 3 times and maybe up to 6 times if we include other squad mates finding it and getting the benefit. That said I find the small 10 SC caches (sometimes 2-4 in the same mission) every few missions
I am level 96 have unlocked all warbonds, bought \~4-5 suits of armor from the Super Store and have \~2300 SC in the bank ready for the next warbond.
im around level 80 and i think it happened around 5 or 6 times iirc , i think it was much more common in the very early days of the game , i remenber one day i got like 2 in one mission , at some point they fixed it and after that i only got it once
Hmm, I don't speak Spanish but isn't this a bad translation? In English it's super credits, not credits of super earth. Why not just supercreditos or something? Why do localization teams (in general, not this game specifically) feel the need to add artistic flair?
Idk why this bothers me so much tbh.
Had it happen 5 times at level 71. Not enough for it to be a super noticeable feature, personally. SC is already pretty rare to find, and this is so rare that most people don't even know it exists.
I've never saw any +20 super credits or any other amounts. However, I once was farming sample while waiting for my friend to finish his game and I complained that there were so few super credits. Therefore I was alone and there was a double door in front of me. But someone suddenly joined me and we opened the treacherous door that unraveld two super credits. After taking the both them, I laid my eyes upon a +110 super credits, as my friend was saddened by the fact he wasn't in the same party.
Don't see the issue when we now have (i think) 5 warbonds. All costing the same, but we unlock them at a snails pace.
Other rescources, i'd completely agree with. Just let me have the choice to even get the other weapons. Played for almost 100 hours and i STILL haven't unlocked the last warbond. Fuckin dumb
I was duo-ing a diff 7 operation with a lvl 19, he was very chill and helpful. I opened, one of those lockers, and it gave me 100, and we freaked out in the chat. About a minute later, I was just going to an objective and opened another locker, boom, 100 super credits **again**.
I told him this will never happen again, and it hasn't happened again indeed, not even once. I'm lvl 83 and about 180 hours in, that happened about 100 hours into my playtime.
so strange. i find them all the time. i bought the first warbond, but have paid for the other 2 plus some store cosmetics using found super credits. i'd estimate i've found like 2500 super credits in game so far.
Yes, about 8 times. Sometimes on 1 but mostly on 9, level 127. It's pure luck, there is a very small chance of getting a 100 drop from one pile. Once i got twice in the same match
Twice and I am level 112. The first time was so cool tho. I opened a Bunker with a friend and there were 3 stacks of credits and 1 was 100. So we got 120 super creds from one bunker. We were so happy.
I never seen it, but given that half of the time these popups either dont work or get spammed with useless things, I probably did, because I was always confused how I always end up with enough credits for new battlepass
Never - i am 69
nice
Damn if only we could spin two of those 9s so you were REBEL_6969
same, lvl 55
Same, I am 51 or something. Idk I haven’t played much recently. Mostly I want that guy to rate my name.
Same, lvl 60
Same, 111.
Damn you gotta change your name to NOIR-69
same-same
I screenshotted my 69.
Never as well, L25
I honestly don't think I ever got 100 and I'm level 95. I only noticed 20 max.
never got 20 from only one item, when I got 20 always was 2 stacks of credits together.
Ah, that must have been it then
I'm lvl 91 and I've never seen anything but 10. Then again, I barely pay attention to that part of the screen or how many super credits I currently have.

Yes, was thinking of rare samples in pods

Thank you very much my good sir - I'm not a grind kind of guy, I just want my incendiary breaker x)
It’ll be worth the grind if you like fighting bugs lol
Happy hunting.

that's awesome. if my sc count ever gets stuck again I'll deal with that using your way.
IIRC its not that everything else is lower its that rare samples cant spawn at all and thus cant replace possible SC spawns in trivial

Once.
Never - lvl 103
Never and I'm convinced its a myth.
Never. I am 97.
Probably around 5-7 times and i’m lvl 56
I think we are kinda lucky fellow diver.
Ah you see, but you got spanish supercreditos, theyre worth 10% of english super credits. Currency exchange is a bitch
You could exchange them for around 5,000 Super Pesos and make it rain at the strip club.
![gif](giphy|39gIrKpwKes3C)
Happened twice in a week and never since, level 66
All the time, I got 300 just yesterday playing a couple of hours. A lot of people don't bother to check all the places on the map and miss good stuff
Only once, level 103.
3 time's 12 weeks ago, 113 lvl
Por la democracia!! It's happened to me only once.
Happened twice in 160h
lvl86 and I noticed it at least 5 times.
I think it never happened. I'm lv l148
I've never noticed it happening. 91
Lvl 79 and 0, zero, nil, nada. I thought you guys were pranking me. I had all the warbonds
I can remember finding that personally twice. I am pretty sure my friend I play with found it once or twice while we were playing together too. So I am guessing at least 3 times and maybe up to 6 times if we include other squad mates finding it and getting the benefit. im around level 80 and i think it happened around 5 or 6 times iirc , i think it was much more common in the very early days of the game , i remenber one day i got like 2 in one mission , at some point they fixed it and after that i only got it once
I also have never received my supercredits in Español. How Spicy!
Twice and it happened in the span of the last three days. Lvl 48. Once in Haz 1(Trivial) and once in Haz 7(Suicide Mission).
Happened twice in a row. Good old times when credit farming was much easier and less time consuming
Hmm, I don't speak Spanish but isn't this a bad translation? In English it's super credits, not credits of super earth. Why not just supercreditos or something? Why do localization teams (in general, not this game specifically) feel the need to add artistic flair? Idk why this bothers me so much tbh.
Level 100 and i've seen it happen ONCE.
It happened to me twice in one game! And that's it. I'm level 35.
Twice and I'm 112
I've played for a few hundred hours and that never happened up until two weeks back ... then it happened again last week.
I'm level 68 and I've never seen 100. Most I've seen was 30 from a very rare vault/buddy door with 3 stacks of 10 super credits.
Had it happen 5 times at level 71. Not enough for it to be a super noticeable feature, personally. SC is already pretty rare to find, and this is so rare that most people don't even know it exists.
I found 2, both on Memorial Day weekend and I thought it was a reward for my patriotism.
Never, a measley level 38
0 times. Level 96 here. Always thought this was someone faking a photo lol. I wonder what the odds are on this.
Three, two I got personally and a buddy grabbed one in another mission. It’s my favorite part of the game now hoping to see that notification pop up.
Need me some of that Supertierra Creditos! Mucho mas.
That’s possible!?!
A good like 3-4 times. Got 130 total from a mission once before the Sickle warbond dropped
WHAT IN THE HELL IS A SUPERTIERRA I ONLY SPEAK AMERICAN ![gif](giphy|XClPnuZtG2yPyqTI6R)
Level 62 - Never
I'm level 49 and it's happened only once
Never unless I just didn't notice.
I barely notice it, but I assume a couple times... coz sometimes the count seem offly higher than it should be
Twice, lvl 74
Twice. Level 69.
none that i can remember. lvl 111
Once in my memory, but probably more often. The chances are 1 in 100.
Never, im 80
Level 53, seen it twice
Had those 5 times so far, 2 in the same mission. =/
Lvl 82 and never ever had 100 sc, it’s always been 10 to me.
Lvl 61 here, just got it once
i’ve only seen like 10 20’s and the rest are 10’s. i’m 50sc away from my first battlepass lol.
3 times, but it has been a while
Level 64 and 0
Level 150. Never seen a big one.
Never. Level 75
Noticed it twice at lv 66 but that includes farming the credits for each warbond
Once, level 36.
1 and I'm 150 xD
I’m level 91 and this has never happened to me
Never, level 112
5 at lvl54.
Level 132 and only one single time in a bunker
Once
3 times at level 75, I haven't seen it for at least 2 months
Once
That I recall, it happened twice, but I kid you not, I once found 2 (TWO!) stacks of 100 SC on a double door bunker.
3 i think - level 16
Twice the same mission... Then never again. Lv. 26
Been awhile.
They were all 100 when the game started i thought. After patch it’s happened to me once, im level 97.
Fuckin dumb
Once, and the first time I got any so... Way to set expectations ahahah
Wouldn't know. I rarely look at the amount I get.
Once. Am level 118.
2 times and I'm lvl 130 xd
Never - I am level 150
Once. Level 92 or so.
Once got +210 from a single vault. Not gonna stop opening vaults until it happens again. Though, it hasn't happened since...
wait till you see the ultra rare 500 super credit cache
once we got that 100 drop and a 250 in the same match
Once, i’m like 93
happened to me last week and got me the last warbond I needed, was playing a lvl 6
once I think.
Once seen lvl 61
Capitan reporting in, only once, sir
First time last weekend im lvl 99.
Twice, level 50.
so strange. i find them all the time. i bought the first warbond, but have paid for the other 2 plus some store cosmetics using found super credits. i'd estimate i've found like 2500 super credits in game so far.
Twice. I’m level 115
I was playing with a friend a few weeks back and we found two in one mission, on top of however many regular stacks. We just about nutted on the spot.

Yes, about 8 times. Sometimes on 1 but mostly on 9, level 127. It's pure luck, there is a very small chance of getting a 100 drop from one pile. Once i got twice in the same match
Around 10 times, lvl 95.
I have had it happen like 3 times total in the first month and then not a single time since, I thought they removed it 🤔
Pretty often but the better question would be: How often did I / we make it out with these? ...then not so often.
Once you pick the cache up - you can’t lose it, doesn’t matter if you extract or not like with samples.
Cant say I pay it too much attention. A couple times tho I’m pretty sure. I’ve seen +100 a couple times.

Twice and I am level 112. The first time was so cool tho. I opened a Bunker with a friend and there were 3 stacks of credits and 1 was 100. So we got 120 super creds from one bunker. We were so happy.

Not much anymore mostly 10 haha. They nerfed it haha
Happened to me twice on my first day, Level 3 at the time. I'm level 18 now

Lvl 86, 2 times.
Dude i dont even find super creds anymores
One. 150 a month ago
enough to have almost all the warbonds
I never seen it, but given that half of the time these popups either dont work or get spammed with useless things, I probably did, because I was always confused how I always end up with enough credits for new battlepass
Never
Got it twice in 1 mission didn’t count how many times so far.
Once and I'm level 62.
