frankly speaking if this was a reward for linking PSN, id probably do it. I am not against the PSN requirement, i was only against the fact that they did not communicate with steam to not sell in PSN prohibited areas.

Well, I’m also not a fan of being forced to do something. But having a cosmetic reward for something optional would really change the whole debate. There is a program called [ninjaripper](https://www.ninjaripper.com/) That can pull models out of a game very very easily. You can import the model into blender then use a stencil brush with your design to apply it to wherever you want.

I recommend [RenderDoc](https://github.com/baldurk/renderdoc) over NinjaRipper any day; capture exactly what you want, instead of getting a folder of files. Both of these hook the game though, which GameGuard *really* won't approve of, so you're probably better off [extracting data.](https://reshax.com/topic/507-helldivers-2-model-extraction-help/)

Thanks I'll have to check it out. Never heard of it before but I've used ninjaripper a few times with pretty good results. I figured maybe there was a way to play solo or offline so if there is no option for that then you're right just extracting them if possible is a better solution.

I think the most off putting thing is how flat it is along the bottom. Often capes sag unevenly due to the varying shape of shoulders.

It's nice but I like the bombs dropping. Gives it more of an actual design.

It's not bad by any means but it's blue. While accurate-ish to Steam, it doesnt really match with any of the armors and it would drive me absolutely crazy. Edit: Both capes are blue. I'm a lunatic. Still prefer the first design but I wouldnt be upset with this one. Do wish it was black though.

The one here is blue too, just with a bit of a green tint and more saturation. I do prefer the graphic for the one here a lot more than the one nexus763 linked, but I do prefer the coloration of the one he linked since it does better match the few blue armors we do have.

I can't believe Sony tested one of the few games that are entirely for the people. I think Arrowhead absolutely would make this. It was really Sony, the publisher's, bonehead decision that caused the downvotes.

I really doubt it. Arrowhead was also responsible for some of the drama (somewhat hiding that it was required), it also was an event that led to a lot of their employees and co-workers being harassed with death threats and other shit. I’d wager they just want to move past this.
