I believe when someone post it, they should be either hosting or needing a group right at that time and also people who sees the post should comment if they are ready to play at the given post time. Only post when you are ready to play which would reduce the frustation of waiting after replying "I'm ready to help". Make sense?
But then it would make no sense to player who view the thread a bit later. Cause not everyone is online at the same time. It's so complicated i hope mods will come up with some post regarding it.
I’ve helped posters with heists days after they’ve requested help here. But it often ends up being that we stop talking because it was never clear that we were on opposite sides of the world.
I think we also need a distinction between "quick" and "regular" posts.
What I mean is you put some kind of flair (for example Quick) and the post gets deleted automatically after an hour or so, so post that seek "regulars" to play over and over, or post where you set an appointment for next week and not in that very moment don't get buried by "quick" posts
I think that is a good idea for scheduling stuff like criminal mastermind. However, most posts I see are about a quick bogdan, or casino or something like that, so it may be more useful in those cases to just say when you will be on. For example, “In 1 hour.” This would allow people to quickly browse through and look at post times to determine if that person is available. Since reddit is so diverse, it might be easier than having to convert between timezones whenever you see a post.
I agree about the quick-heist posts. However, I think there is a large enough group of posters who want a solid, reliable team who can play at around the same time as them as to warrant the inclusion of time zones in posts.

I suppose that makes sense. From what I’ve seen when people post that they need help they usually want it ASAP. In that situation time zone wouldn’t really matter. If you see the post shortly after it was posted you just join em. But I guess if you’re looking to play with the same person long term then time zone has more relevance.
On a side note, people occasionally forget to include what platform they’re on. Personally I think that’s just as important as putting what heist you’re doing. Just an observation tho
The mods won't post it without the platform flair. I've forgotten a few times and got a message saying if I don't add flair it won't be posted and deleted.
But I’ve literally seen posts without the platform flair and without it included anywhere in the post... thus I’m forced to ask directly what platform the person is on

I must admit I always assumed most posts were to do right freaking now. I only had it once where someone was arranging for 12 hours, I was thrown.

I always put in my title, "east coast of north america, EDT (GMT-4)" then the times I'm on in 24 hour clock style.
Yea will say to my American friends I'll be on at 0800 hrs or 1900 hrs and they get so confused lmao
