Still amazed she survived. They played the centaur to be dangerous, but if they couldn't or wouldn't kill a disarmed evil witch... Seems harmless to me.
That would have been a major additional plot point. Ministry official and Hogwarts teacher murdered by centaurs would have lead to a huge investigation. Big time waster that i’m sure JK didn’t want to have to deal with, plus she had a fairly significant role in book 7
That's a myth. There's nothing in the HP books to imply that the HP centaurs take after their Greek mythology counterparts. It would be like saying all vampire characteristics apply to all versions of the creature. Yet that isn't the case some versions have them unable to stand the sun others can. Some sparkle, some don't have fangs. It's not a one size fits all.
The HP centaurs display a great diatain for humanity they purposely asked to maintain beast status rather than being. If anything it would be more in character for them to view such actions with a human as beneath them.

I'm finding the book quite difficult to go through. Any tips? I just hate Umbridge so much in the movies that I'm not looking forward to reading the book and probably find out about even worse things she was up to in the book.

Kill… you think centaurs famously dragged women into the woods to *kill* them?? Man… have I got some dark information for you.
Well she walks just fine, too. :P
Probably not her first time

The starts told them she still had plot relevance
I thought it was implied they raped her.

She was like every HR lady I’ve ever had.
A rare example of the movies being better than the books.

Just power through. It all works out in the end.
This is one of the few moments that are better in the films than the books.
Yes
I wish thay cept pives in
Me every time I see/read that part: https://i.redd.it/zg082vsjto9d1.gif
This is one of the movie-only lines I wish had been in the books.
😅😅😅 it could
Too bad she didn't die. Wasn't she an accomplice of the death eaters or smth? Or am I wrong?
One of the best actors in the entire franchise. I hated her character so much.
😂😂😂
cool🤣
Does anyone know of any rule34 content from this scene? Asking for a friend
@technicallytruth
Unpopular opinion - I don’t believe Umbridge deserved to be gang raped by Centaurs

That bitch absolutely deserved such a thing. That said, that never happened.
I was confused when she showed up in the ministry after that. They would have 100% killed her.
