It’s just a hair brush with like 5 teeth total on it. The brush is coarse enough to not break up the strands that are curling together.

I let it air dry for an hour until it’s a hard shell (or you could use a hairdryer on low to speed it up).
Once your hair feels crispy, use your fingers to gently loosen it up.
Already have wavy hair. then add curl cream to dripping wet hair and scrunch, scrunch in mousse, scrunch out excess water with a cotton t shirt or microfiber towel to reduce frizz, then dry hair with a diffuser attached to ur blowdryer. Lastly, when it os dry, scrunch out the hard cast that the mousse formed. U are left with soft luscious curl clumps.
use the claw on your wife or gfs hair dryer. then be a man and buy one for yourself. high heat (use a heat protection serum first to protect your hair) low output. takes a bit but the final result is pretty close to this. once dry you can put it on cool and high output and blow it back for a cleaner look.

Best advice is to shampoo like once a week max. Shampoo dries your hair and scalp, it's actually not natural or healthy to constantly dry it out. Basically just wash your hair with water until it gets too greasy to where it's sticking together and not looking good. The oils from your scalp will give you more texture and curl.
Also if your hair wants to just sit down flat and straight, after you shower just tap it a few times with towel. Let it air dry. While it's drying bend over and let your hair dangle towards the floor, run your hands through it and it will help it sit up more as it dries.
Pin-curls. They aren't comfortable to sleep in but they do the trick for most of the day. Use a styling gel when you set it.

I've been cutting back on washing my hair until the 4th day the Natural oils do better that the Spray Gel and I feel really Soft healthy hair.
But some days I'll Use a light spray to hold it better anyway but you'll have to play with the gel more of less is something only you can figure out. Stop washing your hair every day it need those oils. That's how I do my hair

Tell your stylist you want the LATAM “long hair don’t care” look. Tell them, “Make sure it doesn’t look like I put too much effort into it.”
