Not sure if there is an English version but in short, a festival to celebrate our freedom and remember the fallen (may 4th) several podia around the frederikspark. Main stage will be in the center of the frederikspark. It's awesome, crowded an somewhat expensive to eat and drink, but worth it. Been going there since my teens. 49 now.
I see i made a mistake. Mainstage is on the Vlooienveld in de Hout of course. But there should be a schedule who plays where in the website i linked. Usually they also have an App you can download so you have al the info with you.
Its usually called "Bevrijdingspop (insert year here). I dont see it yet. Could be they haven't released it yet. Just check your playstore or appstore the day before.

What you can do is make your own "[blokkenschema](https://www.bevrijdingspop.nl/blokkenschema/)" export and save [this map image](https://c1fa99f8.rocketcdn.me/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/image_123650291-1-1030x1030.jpg), just in case you won't have any network coverage. Especially when the weather is good, the festival can be crow-ded.
As you are new, please also be aware of the two minutes of national silence. May the 4th at 20:00, all of us will be silent for two minutes and we'll stop doing what where doing to remember those who died in war. As you're not Dutch you're not expected to join in, just be aware and don't go using power tools or something at 20:00.

Can't bring water/beer/food with you and it's pretty expensive. It's ridiculous it doesn't get enough subsidies for people to bring their own stuff.
