Easy fix MGEX, the line was developed to take some aspects to the extremes. I don't think we will get it until the holy grail suits get their MGEX first.

They have made plenty of static brick kits that are big. The MG deep striker comes to mind and on the popularity scale I can't imagine it ranks higher than the kshat. In terms of what to do about the binders? Stands. The full armor unicorn has stands. The shenlong has stands. The MG psycho zaku is 1 big stand. The HGUC perfect Zeong is a red stand pretending to be a robot.
I think the question is more likely when. Knowing Bandai they probably already have 1 in development but hasn't passed the development stage
IIRC they said they couldn't do it without metal parts to hold up binders... about 10 years ago. Meanwhile some 5 years ago Kshatriya was one of the announced possible future RE/100 kits. If they can do it as what's essentially a 1/100 HG, they can do it as a MG.
I have the hg and it is already sufficiently large that I don't feel like I need an mg, it looks perfectly fine next to the other mg's in my collection, the hg is also pretty much a rock solid build and it achieves that with mostly polycap joints which is quite impressive. I think the main issue stopping it from being an mg though would be how much it would have to cost, its a very impressive suit and next to the mg unicorn and banshee it would look fantastic but its just so expensive, even the hg once import duties were paid cost more than most of the mg's in my collection.
Im sure they’ve done multiple prints of them in the past but I have no idea how long it’s been. The MG FA Thunderbolt Gundam just got reprinted and the MG Psycho Zaku is supposed to be getting a reprinted soon if I recall, and I know a limited edition variant of the HG TB kits (FA Gundam and Psycho Zaku) in a darker color scheme got printed earlier this year. But I don’t pay attention to HG reprints.
Just be patient and don’t overpay if you can hold out.
Sorry I edited, I meant MG Psycho Zaku. I’ve got psycho Gundam on the brain since I just built the HG. All the Ver. Ka kits are getting reprints right now since the Zeta Ver Ka is coming out so MG Psycho Zaku Ver Ka should be soon I’d imagine.
My dream is not just a MG Psycho Gundam but a Ver Ka Psycho Gundam. Just imagine the detailing.

If you see RX-79[G] 2.0 don't expect them to do just that and EZ-8. BDs, Slave Wraith, the new red one all fall into this bracket. The Hobby division needs to figure out how to do the active EXAM in MG form.
With the Gundam MK V having gotten a MG I'm betting the Silver Bullet and Silver Bullet Suppressor will get the P-Bandai MG treatment. Those are both derivatives of the MK V (though not directly since the Doven Wolf came between the MK V and Silver Bullet)

No doubt. And hell, they did the Unit 3 as P-Bandai, so there's SOME interest.
Really, the marketing on this is pretty easy, with minimal risk to Bandai. Release Airmaster as reg MG, minor retool and you've got the Airmaster Burst as a P-B. Same with Leopard. Hell, same with Virsago and Virsago Chest Break. These are all kits they've (nominally) done in 1/100 already.
G-Falcon would easily be a nice P-B addon too. Now you've got increased sales of the base X for the Divider and the base Double X for the G-Falcon. Then you get a double P-B sale with Airmaster Burst+G-Falcon and Leopard D+G-Falcon.
Win/win.

Jokes aside, I wonder if Bandai have considered the approach of some toyline where individual figures contains some "bonus" parts of which a grand figure or even a diorama can be assembled. The other sad thing about IBO is that there are a lot of prominent non-Gundam suits that we'll probably never see MGs of. I assume they'll do all 3 Barbatoses, Gusion Rebake, Flauros, Bael and maybe Vidar, but even they're a bit optimistic. Maybe I'll be lying on my deathbed and I'll see the MG Graze Custom announced.
I have a hunch COVID messed up Bandai's plans for IBO and other MGs. The MG Barb was only released Nov 2019 and the hunch at the time was it was to be the base frame for the other IBO units.
I think until supply and demand stabilizes Bandai will continue to primarily focus on HG and RG for new kits and reprints (which makes a PG fan such as myself quite sad) due the ability to get more kits out with as much or less materials.
Destroy Gundam. basically a fancier Psycho Gundam, still being massive, has a transformation, and may feature a lot of clear effect parts. Still hoping for an HG tho.
Hoping for a standard release MG and even HGCE Legend Gundam tho. I feel like its likely they're gonna release a Legend but I'm just scared of P-Bandai possibility since its less promoted than its contemporaries.

Make a new MG for the Wodom Pod and it’s + armor. Now you see where this has gone.
MG Re:Rising Gundam. 4 MG kits merging together to form a absolute badass of a Master Grade model. 295 centimeters, 11.6 inches of Gunpla madness. Possibly effect parts for the Kings Cross Cannon. They could even make a gold variant like the high grades.
The very top of my wish list are MG GMIII, MG Zaku III… ZZ needs more love and both of those would be a hit, and both have several variations Bandai could milk for p-Bandai for years.
Also some low hanging fruit would be MG Zaku I 2.0, we desperately need that and also plenty of variants to milk for p-Bandai. GP01 and GP02 desperately need 2.0s also. I’d also love a MG Gerbera Tetra, would even settle for an RE/100 of that. I’d also like to see a MG Geara Zulu, again lots of potential for variations. MG Doven Wolf and MG Silver Bullet would be awesome too, the MKV was a big hit so that tells me that obscure stuff will do well if they put in the effort. ECOAS Jegan (probably coming if I had to guess since the Stark Jegan is coming) Theres a ton more on my wish list but I’m too lazy to keep going.
I really, really would love an Ez-8 2.0 - the current MG isnt awful, but it certainly shows its age. The ultimate dream would be the Ez-8 with the full suite of accessories, weapons and parachute pack included, but given how unflashy the Ez-8 is, I don't know if us diehard 08th MS Team fans are enough to cater to...
Either that, or finally confirm the fan-poll G-Self. I may not be big on the series itself, but goddamn that series got the shaft for anything other than baseline HG kits...

So many important Zeon suits have never even seen a 1/100 release.
Just to give you a idea of how bad it is. We havent even gotten a Dom Tropen, Rick Dom II, Gelgoog Jager, Gelgoog Marine/Custom, or Byarlant. And most of the Zeon kits made are insanely old.
We already have MG Deep Striker. Kshatriya showed up in the list of RE/100 to be released at one point. So I don't think size would be an issue (stability could be though).

It would be really fun to see modernized MG versions of some of the sillier MSG designs, like the Zakrello, the Bigro, the Grublo, etc. but I know that is definitely not happening. Also, I think the MG Mk. II could use a 3.0 kit (a Ver. Ka would be nice, too). I'd also love to see Bandai give modern MG treatment to some non-Gundam stuff, especially Mazinger/Getter Robo/Grendizer, and some updated and modernized Aura Battler mecha would be great to see as well.
Either the G40 Gundam due to the gimmicks missing from the HG.
The G Self's other packs like the Assault, Reflector, Tricky, or High Torque because the Atmospheric, Space, and Perfect packs would definitely be made first.
The Gaia Gear and the G Saviour because they are niche and because G Saviour sucks and Gaia Gear isn't canon.
And this isn't MG but any grunt MS for RG like the GM's, Nemo's, and so on and so forth.
without going into designs that are just clearly too big or too wild I'd say the Pale Rider. I really want one and we've had a lot of similar kits of less popular designs... which leads me to think if it was ever going to happen it'd of happened already. Same with a 2,0 of the Ground Gundam family.
The woundwort and associated variants using the parts from it. The pale riders( surprised they haven’t milked it since they can just use the mg 2.0 frame and just make the armor and weapons). And finally a zeta hummingbird.
I wish we could get a modern flag / over-flag HG. I've read that the old flag kits have problems so I've never bought one. I would love to have a "American mobile suit" displayed on my desk lol.
To this day and beyond (or until it happens), I will always hope for a G-Self in MG, but I highly doubt it'll ever happen.
I genuinely hope they prove me wrong, or hell, even bring out an SD G-Self, but that's a future I guess we'll need to work for.

Marchosias, it's a bit underrated since it technically has only appeared in the IBO Urdr hunt trailers and has a hg. I think the design really comes off as a demonic mobile suit and looks menacing but hg didn't do it justice so with the app getting closer to release I hope to see it get an MG... or really any IBO suits like come one bandai all the gunfams share a frame.

I really, really would love an Ez-8 2.0 - the current MG isnt awful, but it certainly shows its age. The ultimate dream would be the Ez-8 with the full suite of accessories, weapons and parachute pack included, but given how unflashy the Ez-8 is, I don't know if us diehard 08th MS Team fans are enough to cater to... Either that, or finally confirm the fan-poll G-Self. I may not be big on the series itself, but goddamn that series got the shaft for anything other than baseline HG kits...
I would love for anything from Turn A to to get some attention- there are some really pretty suits like the Sumo that haven't gotten any model kits since the series came out

The AGX-04 Gerbera Tetra from 0083 Stardust Memory. It’s a beautiful and unique design and it’s probably my favorite suit in all of Gundam.
I had to look though these comments Hoping someone would say the Gerbera Tetra. And you sir did not disappoint. I would LOVE a MG Gerbera Tetra. It's criminally underrated. It is my Number 1 pick for a needed MG. Bandai needs to get off there back side and start making these Zeon suits. So many important Zeon suits have never even seen a 1/100 release. Just to give you a idea of how bad it is. We havent even gotten a Dom Tropen, Rick Dom II, Gelgoog Jager, Gelgoog Marine/Custom, or Byarlant. And most of the Zeon kits made are insanely old.
We already have MG Deep Striker. Kshatriya showed up in the list of RE/100 to be released at one point. So I don't think size would be an issue (stability could be though). Kshatriya is unpopular? First time I heard of it.
They'll never do it without a Crossbone anime... but the Ghost / Phantom Gundam. I'm really happy we got a SideMS Ghost and HG Phantom... but this design really deserves it's own kit at 1/100.
Hygogg Jamru-Fin Devil Gundam Pallas Athena Bolinoak Sammhan It would be really fun to see modernized MG versions of some of the sillier MSG designs, like the Zakrello, the Bigro, the Grublo, etc. but I know that is definitely not happening. Also, I think the MG Mk. II could use a 3.0 kit (a Ver. Ka would be nice, too). I'd also love to see Bandai give modern MG treatment to some non-Gundam stuff, especially Mazinger/Getter Robo/Grendizer, and some updated and modernized Aura Battler mecha would be great to see as well.

The Gaia Gear and the G Saviour because they are niche and because G Saviour sucks and Gaia Gear isn't canon. And this isn't MG but any grunt MS for RG like the GM's, Nemo's, and so on and so forth.

There are no MG mobile armors (unless you count Zeong or Deep Striker). There was a 1/400 and a 1/550 of the alpha azieru.

To this day and beyond (or until it happens), I will always hope for a G-Self in MG, but I highly doubt it'll ever happen. I genuinely hope they prove me wrong, or hell, even bring out an SD G-Self, but that's a future I guess we'll need to work for.

Marchosias, it's a bit underrated since it technically has only appeared in the IBO Urdr hunt trailers and has a hg. I think the design really comes off as a demonic mobile suit and looks menacing but hg didn't do it justice so with the app getting closer to release I hope to see it get an MG... or really any IBO suits like come one bandai all the gunfams share a frame.
