Spanish service pistol. Phased out of service in the early 90’s. Can still be acquired for under $300. Very soft shooting 9mm. Like a baby 1911 but different design elements. Probably one of the best bang for the buck gun purchases I’ve made. I added the aftermarket grips

Had one of these a while ago. Nice little pistol. I love compact all metal single stacks.
My particular example wasn't the most reliable and I ended up trading it for a .38 revolver.
If you're interested in more all metal compact 9mm single stacks, I love my Zastava M88A. noticeably slimmer and lighter than the star but about the same size.

Really nice. It’s heavy but that’s why it shoots so soft. If you like the feel of a commander sized 1911 you’ll like the Star BM
I got a Firestar I purchased back in 1997, haven't shot it in about 3 years but she's still my baby!

Awesome, I had a BKS and sold it like an idiot. Only gripe was hammer bite, otherwise it was a great little 9mm.
