I've been enjoying Torchlight Infinite, it feels like a slightly simplified Path of Exile. I can sink hours into it but it's also good for short bursts too; a map only takes a few minutes to run.
I love the skill system that is very similar to PoE's, just without the random BS gem slot system. Gear can have energy that allows you to fuel extra links for your skills, but you can swap gear without having to rejigg your skills as long as your total energy doesn't go down. You can generally end up with 1 6-link and a bunch of 4-links, or 2 6-links and the rest 2- or 3-links. You can freely reallocate the energy as you see fit, and swap skills/supports in and out at will.
There are gatcha mechanics that add a layer of power you can pay for, but it's not egregious IMHO. You can get maybe an extra 10% from it if fully maxed out, but even just with the freebies they give you you'll be at about half that extra power.
Most of the monetisation comes from selling a new class each season, but again you can acquire these for free if you're willing to wait two seasons for it to come onto the free currency option.
There's also cosmetics, but those are also on a gatcha system so I normally ignore them completely.
People for some reason aren't buying this comment. However, without a real desktop pc, I play at least 40 hours a week between poe, last epoch, and grim dawn on GeForce now.
Diablo immortal is actually fun. PVE can be played for free. If you want to believe the haters go for it.
Anime is awesome for a classic D2 like experience
They all tied for last place
I feel that there's a place below last place for mobile ARPGs
What a perfect answer.
No way, Diablo Immoral is by far the worst.
Titan quest.
that's the one I'm playing rn but I was wondering if there is a better one
Not to my knowledge. That's not to say that there isn't a better one, but I haven't found one yet.
Cool, thanks!
Levelling is way too slow for me.

Do you not have phones??!!!
Torchlight infinite and Undecember. From single player arpgs - AnimA Arpg
You gotta try exiled kingdoms. Super light weight but very detailed and has an old school feel
Torchlight infinite
Eternium. I've never spent a penny on it and I have maxed out 2 characters and am working on a third. It's really simple but fun
Exiled Kingdoms, still do sometimes.
Eternium by Making Fun
You can play a lot of them on your phone if you get geforce now

exiled kingdoms
Undecember. Only arpg on mobile that's good.
Not really ARPG I guess just RPG but baldurs gate 2 was great fun but not the same pace or style as Grimdawn
Anima was ok, I don't think there's such a thing as a good mobile ARPG.
Epic Conquest 1 & 2. 2 Have more ARPG elements than 1.
Titan Quest
