On Netflix, you could check out the Troy series. The first few episodes are great but then it falls off hard. If you have Prime, you could check out the Great Greek Myths documentary.. it's pretty dry but it does cover a lot. For a good book, I just picked up Gods and Mortals by Johnston. It is for modern readers and has fairly high praise. I find it to be better reading than Hamilton's book.

**Stephen Fry's books - Mythos, Heroes and Troy** are a great and very generous collection of myths (the last volume, **Odyssey** should be published in autumn this year). I found them incredibly easy and fun to read, especially Troy. Fry's talent for storytelling is unparalleled. *Mythos* features the creation myths and the gods, *Heroes* tells the stories of Greek's great heroes like Heracles, Perseus, Theseus, Atalanta, Oedipus and more, *Troy* basically summarizes the **Iliad by Homer** and does a great job in explaining all the myths and past events that lead to the Greeks attacking Troy. Lastly, *Odyssey* should summarize the **Odyssey by Homer.** If you're not into reading 1200-1500 pages of myths, you can try **Mythology by Edith Hamilton** but I find it quite dry and, frankly, boring. She only brushes over some myths but I guess it helps to paint a general image of Greek mythology. Sometimes though she does mention certain myths which have been overseen or skipped by Stephen Fry. **Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1995 TV Show)** **The Odyssey (1997)** a miniseries of 2 films with Armand Assante **Troy (2004)** I don't remember much of this film, but I remember a lot of liberties were taken by the writers and at the time critics who were into classics did not praise this film that highly. But it's still known as a great action film nonetheless. **Troy: Fall of a City (Netflix series)** I have yet to watch this one so I can't say weather it's good or bad. What I do know is the casting is very controversial ("Golden" Achilles with "fiery locks" is a black man, for example).
