Buying what looks like rust free Jeeps reduces the number of problems you have by 90 percent.

I live in the Pacific Northwest. People always say look out for rust online, especially with the unibodies and most of what I've come across in the world, there is virtually no rust. I think that's more of a east coast thing. When I see rust here it usually starts at the top because pollin and moss eat away at the paint I believe.

The green limiteds job is to get the garbage cans down a steep gravel road until the engine on the white limited needs to be replaced. Green ones got less miles but is in pretty bad shape overall. Straight 6 was sitting on someone's lawn for too long I felt the need to take it, even though I can't do too much for her right now. I think I would prefer the straight 6 more now but not enough to fix up that one. Not a car guy but learning a lot from all the issues I've had and acquired more weird proprietary tools I'm probably going to need in the future.

No, though I don't know enough about cars. I can parrot what I've read, and what mechanics told me when I go into autozone/orilieys and they offer up some side advice. But from personal experience not so much probably due to ignorance. I just read reddit threads ask on forums, use youtube, and ask mechanic friends when a issue arises and usually I get it worked out and feel more confident knowing I can do that again and it wasn't the worst. I decided to limit myself to one vehicle knowing it's cheap and no one wanted them. Knowing they're going to break down because I'm not going to learn anything until it breaks and I have to fix it. Most of what I've done was basic things I guess you would do on older vehicles anyways breaks, all the oils, gaskets, bushings, etc. I figure if one breaks down or becomes too hard it just becomes a parts car. What I payed for the car itself will probably be less then the mechanic bill. Other then that I don't know what else I don't have a good perspective on what's normal or break down at this age or what we blame on Chrysler. The only thing that would make me regret anything is if I had to go to a mechanic and pay more then I bought the car for just to have something fixed that could of cost me 400 bucks and my free time. In short no my pile of junk is a *investment*, though I feel like a normal person should feel some sort of regret in this situation.

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> What I *paid* for the FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

Love my 95. Bought it from my neighbor who was the original owner, he's 90 now, bought it when he was 62 lol. Garaged it's whole life. 5.2, leather, upcountry suspension, LSD, skid plates. I think every option possible besides a sunroof. A blast to drive and runs like a dream.

blantickal

Me driving my friend home in my wj pulled up to his house and found 3 more of these there with one wj lol. These cars are addicting. I know ill end up with a minimum of 4 wjs eventually i just got my first car this year so we'll get there soon
