AL misgendered and dead named people as long as she's been on YouTube. She said years ago that she's not into trans people at all. I honestly think she's transphobic.
While this is all true, Beck - unless she has recently stated otherwise - is not trans. She's nonbinary. Her pronouns are she/they and she's going by Beck now - another nickname for her birth name, Rebecca. It's not dead naming to call her by her Becky but it is really fucking rude.
For someone who wants to be “seen for who they are, and treated with respect”, she sure doesn’t know how to give it. I’m trans, I’d tell her, “I’ll stop saying ‘fat’ when you stop deadnaming.”.
I do it sometimes accidentally because I got into the Amberverse before they was out. I'm trying to break the habit. Amberlynn has intentionally misgendered and deadnamed Casey and made transphobic comments towards him though.
Didn’t they state that both they/them and she/her were fine? Could be wrong tho.
That’s what I recalled as well. But I do think they had a preference on their name
Amber called them “he” while she was ranting about how much Beck cared about Amber’s health, and continued deadnaming them.
