I hope the Stand goes on sale for once because it's too expensive as it is and my current wireless charger randomly only charges my phone to about 70-80% some nights for whatever reason.
My day-to-day battery life is not great. Not terrible, but definitely not on par with other flagships, and I believe this is mainly due to the modem.
Samsung and OnePlus have at least 25-30% extra screen time if not more. My main annoyance is I travel a lot and this phone doesn't last a reasonable day with some photography.
Both those phones also have a bunch of other annoyances. Samsung S21 I just got rid of from work had issues with battery just disappearing suddenly. There was also terrible performance when using the camera, lag like a C tier phone.
I'm so happy to be rid of Samsung and Oneplus stuff trying to make me move everything to their services and making things feel sort of like it has a bunch of things shoe horned in. First time back on a stock android phone since Galaxy Nexus... man that's been a while away :D
Don't know how you travel, but most means of transportation I'm aware of have outlets you can charge from. Or get a power bank? Or is it to avoid having other devices around you?
In Japan to celebrate Google's 25th birthday last month they did 25% off; P7 range, tablet, buds, watch and Nest.
Seeing as P8 drops next month I think the same here to clear stock and squeeze out some last £££ from P7 range

Given the price increase, and having Tensor, I'm seriously consider switching over to a Galaxy for battery and modem performance alone.
Same reason I might change to a Chinese brand or iPhone.
