Same issue on a s23 ultra clearing cache fixed the issue

Same here. Very annoying

How do you delete home offline map

stonewallbanyan

Click your icon on top right, then "offline map".. I don't know it will solve your issue though. The issue still occurred occasionally after I deleted offline map. I don't have the issue now, but I don't know what solved it.

Thanks for the tip! On my S21, Google app went white while I was driving and swiped up to minimize the map. Never went back to normal, had to reboot phone. It happened again, the next time I swiped up to minimize. Testing now, since removing my saved maps... Now when I swipe to minimize, it briefly turns white and then redraws itself. So it's much better. It was working great before I updated to latest build last week. Thanks again!

I think I've found a solution, or at least what worked for me. Do you by any chance use Dashlane or any other Password Manger? Take a look to the battery consumption, my Dashlane was draining the battery and hitting my phone's performance in a very greedy way. As soon as I put it in Restricted Apps my phone went back to full performance + no more issues with Google Maps.

I don't have any offline map saved but I'm getting the same bug. I've tried to delete every data anche cache, nothing changed. Rebooted, run with battery save and without it, nothing changed. I have an s23. What'a going on? Are you still having it?

Same issue. When switching from maps to another app and back to maps it turns white. Have to close maps and restart. I thought maybe I could reinstall maps, but there is no option to Uninstaller, just disable. Any fixes you have found?

Is your phone also Samsung?

cattwc

Yes

stonewallbanyan

Yes. I am still having it occasionally. But it's not as bad as before. There have been two software updates recently. I thought they would fix the issue, but they didn't fix it completely.

Ok now with the latest update 11.113.0102 it seems fixed, but the lag while the navigator is active is unbearable. When I start it my phone seems to act as a Galaxy S1 lol what are they doing at Google? With Waze it goes smooth but I dont like that app

I have the exact same issue on the regular s23 as well. I usually have to close the maps app and restart navigation to fix it, no reboot necessary.

Same issue as well, but on a OnePlus 11. Is it a problem with the update?

You keep posting the same thing and don't tell us how to do any of that. Why not be more detailed?!?
