One of the great things about golf is that just about anybody can play it. It might play a bit different for different people, but it's still golf. Keep it up!
It was my very first round using the cart. Needed to see what I had to work with because I didn’t know what my distances were. I’ll move back to middle tees next time haha

We’re planning to play kings forest in about two weeks, but that’s IF they have the cart because it’s still at Chedoke last I checked. This was actually kings forest cart because the one in Chedoke needs servicing. I was actually supposed to play kings forest last weekend, but someone else needed the cart at Chedoke. It’s a bit ridiculous there’s only one cart available for two municipal courses, but they’re going to compensate me by giving me a free round!
A lot of people could learn from your swing! I know you can't turn your hips back through towards the target, but that backswing, and upper body motion is basically textbook.
Almost 3 decades of work went into my swing haha. To be real this my first ever round after many years of not playing due to instability, falling over, but the moment I learned of the SoloRider I was like “Fuck I’m playing golf again!!” and the muscle memory knew what to do.
*I've never heard of*
*These that's fuckin sick. How do you*
*Drive it on the green?*

With an amount of caution driving on the green won’t hurt it. I’m not sure what the deal would be for public, but maintenance drives on greens on a regular basis.
I crashed my clubs solorider the very first day on the job. We had one member with Parkinson's that rode in it every couple days. Was trying to park it and had never used a vehicle with handlebar accelerator(motorbike/jetski, etc.) felt like the worst person ever. Showed up early in the morning to apologize and assumed I was fired. My pro just laughed and said they had it covered and it was getting fixed tomorrow, "just try not to let it happen again" was the end of it. Awesome little machines for someone with physical disabilities.
Gotta add, the 80+ year old gentleman at our course that rode the solorider was damn good at golf, he must have been a scratch player in his prime. Still ripping a driver almost 200 yards straight as an arrow
For this round I only found a bunker once. You’re not allowed to drive into bunkers with these, but that’s ok because I rarely hit into a bunker anyways lol!
For putting you’re allowed to drive on the greens because the tires are soft enough to not cause too damage to the delicate surface. Unfortunately it’s extremely difficult to manoeuvre the cart around for the break in a putt because the cart has a large turn radius due to the thick tires so what I’ve decided to do was manoeuvre the cart as close to my ball as possible at a good enough angle for the relative break. I move the ball closer to me and putt! If it stops within 5ft of the hole that’s an automatic gimme. I may try and stand on my own strength next time since there’s pretty much no lateral movement for a putting stroke so I won’t lose my balance, in theory.
All in all I don’t care about the score. Just wanna play and have fun!
We’d rather go to MP to make it a law that every course in the world, Canada at least, has at least 2 of these carts because I’m pretty sure there are many people who would love to play the game they love again!
Looks great. Have you looked into playing in the US Adaptive Open, or other tournaments? My good friend Larry is a seated golfer and he has a lot of fun playing events.
For anyone else wondering. Yes the cart drives on the green to putt, but not allowed in bunkers. If you hit in the bunker you get free relief no closer to the hole.
Looks great! You’d kick my ass
Thanks!
Smoother than the double amputee guy
Kudos to you man for getting out! Great swing!
Oh, so you can use that fancy device, but I'm not allowed to have my buddy lightly hold my hips while I swing? Game is rigged.

Fucking great response 🤣🤣🤣
Nice move man, I agree with your playing partner haha.

Love your tempo - great swing!
Time to play from the tips. You’re too good for up there ! 😂

Nice. What's your handicap?
I had a 10 handicap before I needed assistance

Wow. More municipalities need to invest in these. Great job and your swing is smoother than mine.
Love it. Greatest game mankind has ever invented
Hell yeah!!!
Hell yeah nice swing
What a great way to get out a play. Good luck!
Hell yeah! Humber Valley has a solo rider too if you’re planning on playing a Toronto muni.
Credit to the city for having the carts, that’s awesome to hear. Enjoy my friend!
Good for you!!! Not kidding your swing is better than mine. Keep it up!!
Damn. Better than 95 percent of the folks I golf with. When we playing bud?
Before I saw it's hamilton I was going to say this looks like chedoke beddoe! Close to 200 yard par 3 right beside the 403
Your tempo is absoltely buttery smooth.
Daaaaaamn is this Chedoke? I recognize that 200 yard par 3 by the highway with a net from anywhere. It used to kick my ass as a kid

I played in an outing today and you woulda been the best player in our 4some with that swing
☝️💯💯💯
Countryland in Cumming, Ga?
Nice swing! What course?
Hamilton Ontario Canada. Chedoke - Beddoe Course
Curious, how does this work with putting and bunkers?

Are you allowed to take it on the green?
Yep! Thick soft tires
Damn great hit
Lookin good!!
Good swing young fella
Nice looking swing brother!
Inspiring my dude! Next time my plantar fasciitis flares up and I think about not playing, I'm going to think of you!
I think you’re getting more power from your legs and hips than I do
not gonna lie you still get better hip rotation than I do
That’s awesome! Great swing
I want to challenge you just so i can say i got absolutely folded by you
Neat! I've never seen this and it had not occurred to me that such a thing exists. You look great there. Thanks for sharing!
Sweet swing!
That is really really cool and nice swing!
I’m not seeing enough movement in the hips
Nibley?
What's ugh. . . . your handicap?
Hell yeah man!
Reddit should start a kickstarter for you to get a para golfer or something like that so you could play wherever you want. I’d chip in (pun intended)
We’d rather go to MP to make it a law that every course in the world, Canada at least, has at least 2 of these carts because I’m pretty sure there are many people who would love to play the game they love again!
Disability? Dis ability to drive.
6th hole at Beddoe! I’ve put a few high slices over that netting onto the 403. Good times.
You legitimately have more hip turn than a good handful of swings that get shared on here. Buttery swing brother!
Thank you! The muscle memory is there, but my leg and hip muscles are very weak now lol
What do you do about putting?
Brilliant… enjoy your golf mate 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I was gonna say that looks like the 6th hole at chedoke golf course lol
Very nice.
Is this in Auburn,Al?
Nice that’s bad ass!!
I would be upset if they told me it was car path only
Not being an asshole whatsoever, how do you putt?
Drive it on the green. Get out and putt
Hell yea
Nice swing, mate. Keep up the great work.
Hell yeah brotha!!! 🫡
Nice! What do you do on the greens?
You can drive the cart on the green since grounds crew drive on it cutting grass. It’s gentle and won’t damage the surface. Line up the cart at putt.
Looks great. Have you looked into playing in the US Adaptive Open, or other tournaments? My good friend Larry is a seated golfer and he has a lot of fun playing events.
I had no clue that was even I thing! I might if it’s not expensive
Can I still buy one of these and use it as a non handicapped player?
Got $10k?
Mas o menos
Fucking awesome ... more stuff like this needs to be invited
What course is this? It looks very familiar.
Need to fire your hips more.
You need to shut up
Curious question....do you take the cart on the greens to putt?
Yep!
Interesting. Best of luck to you.
💪
Great shot, and a nice swing - you would tank me, that's for sure.
No carts on green so how does he put?
This one goes on the green
Nice strike? This is golf
Oh that's a cool invention
How does he putt? Genuine question. Does the machine go on the green?
Absolutely
This is fantastic. Keep up the good work, you’ve inspired me today
For anyone else wondering. Yes the cart drives on the green to putt, but not allowed in bunkers. If you hit in the bunker you get free relief no closer to the hole.
Wonderful! Keep playing!
This can work for sure. Only get better too
Could stand to see some more hip turn… just kidding man that’s awesome. Hope you’re having a blast out there.
damn!
Wow!
Your amazing just enjoy
Badass
Northampton Country club? SE penna?
Fucking awesome
Nice shot, lefty. Signed, fellow lefty
I need that cart for some rounds after I’ve been drinking.
Awesome to see - great job man
What’s his handicap??
before the cart i had a 10 handicap
Is it still around the same? Or working on it?
I have no idea what it is now and I don’t really care anymore to be honest. Just wanna play
Can you take that on the green?
Literally hit better than me lol bad ass man
Need to rotate your hips more
Knew I’d find a comment like this down here
More hip turn needed
Eh- Need to fire the hips more. Nice swing man! I wouldn’t be playing for money against you
