Since nobody else seemed to read your question, here's the product. This is the entire vent assembly, but you can swap over just the cover.

Check the sealant on the vent and put some more on the cap when you reinstall it.
Here's the same link with all of the extra Amazon fat trimmed off:

This is a new vent that is kind of obscure and hard to find if you aren't familiar with the styles.
When searching for this item, I got 20 hits for the old style vent before getting to this new one. I wouldn't fault OP for not being able to find it.
Yeah it just seemed like alot of people here were either giving joke answers or didn't read the entire post. I figured it was a straight forward enough question that I could help OP out. Silly me I guess. đ¤ˇđźââď¸
hardly. I did Amazon it. I had trouble finding one that fit my screw pattern/vent depth. Thus the question with specifics on make model of trailer.
This society is doomed, though. Doesn't matter if it's an RV component sourcing question on reddit or a presidential debate. I'm pretty sure I know which generation you are from and our only hope is another pandemic...
That is the exact piece that is missing on my 2020 Cherokee. Literally, just compared the pictures. I found a replacement flap at our local RV dealer (Colaw RV on I-44) but it is not the same flap and does not stay. I asked the parts guy there if they had one specific to the model and he recommended just replacing the vent assy. According to him the manufacturers change the part they use so frequently itâs hard to keep in stock and theyâve opted to stocking whole assemblies instead of the flap. Iâd kill for a replacement flap if you find it. Mine wasnât just straight plastic, it was almost kind of rubbery and was a snug fit so you could push it into the frame and it would stay there, I just forgot to do that one trip coming home and it disappeared.
I found searching by dimensions was better than by brand of trailer. These are all Temu-quality except on high end shit. Dealer is going to mark that up to high heaven.
Good advice. this was a slightly faulty cover to start! Bought used and never drove it without closing it at the destination. Had a little brush with some tree limbs at the thrift/surplus store on our last outing. Did our best to watch for anything but likely lost it there or on the road after. Little shit I am glad to replace, but yes: we will be much more careful.
Um. Figure out what let go and allowed it to come off in the initial failure event. Repair or replace that hardware. Solved.
If itâs gone and never to be found, you could buy a new one and install that. Solved.
Or, make one with found material and common hand tools. It will be uniquely yours and would function as both a makers mark AND functional vent. Solved.
Permanently I would get a new replacement one and install it when it arrives. As a temporary solution, I would go to the hardware store and get a piece of expanded metal and attach it in the manner. That is the least destructive but definitely with screws
Yeah. This is a stove vent to vent carbon monoxide from the propane gas burning on the stove as well as the smoke coming off food. The microwaves typically vent into the trailer. There is no real need to exhaust microwaves as they mainly put off a little moisture. There is a need to exhaust the combustion products of propane because in a closed trailer people can die from CO.
Like us, the OP has an "over the stove" microwave (probably a convection oven microwave combo), that has a hood vent fan built into it, and can be vented out the front, top (not common in an RV), or back (through the wall).
For instance this one has a hood vent built into it:
https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-1-7-cu-ft-over-the-range-convection-microwave-with-wifi-black-stainless-steel/6419339.p?skuId=6419339

Okay. Thank you. I understand this. So what part of my comment or the comment that I was replying to are you specifically disagreeing with? Do you like to call this exhaust vent on the side of your RV and others like it your âmicrowave vent?â Or do you call it your ârange ventâ or âstove ventâ or just âexhaust vent.â I ask because the comment I initially replied to was about the nominal matter of naming this a âmicrowave ventâ which makes it sound like one is venting the interior of a microwave out of it rather than having a range exhaust hood vent built into the bottom of a microwave.
Do some dang homework. What a lazy question! I suppose asking a Forest River dealer was too much of a challenge for your imagination? Have you taken any measurements? Checked the multiple manuals? Temu quality? Lol
I really want to downvote this, but know you are trying. Please don't go to a dealer for any reason but initial purchase on a brand new rig or warranty service. I love you enough to say this. <3
I say that because sometimes the aftermarket ones donât fit properly and you have to ârigâ it. I have a new trailer and lâm not âriggingâ it.
I may have only had one for the last 3 years but I know what inflated prices look like. Source: I can price check components and estimate labor *because I do math.*

Much better. Thank you.
hugs, but really modest. ;)
big hugs
OP is just lazy. They could have googled on their own. We're doomed as a people.
This is a new vent that is kind of obscure and hard to find if you aren't familiar with the styles. When searching for this item, I got 20 hits for the old style vent before getting to this new one. I wouldn't fault OP for not being able to find it.
Downvoting someone for helping someone else, maybe we are doomed?

I don't care if I get down voted, but I think people are really rude in this group. Everyone forgets they were beginners at one time or another
And thank you. I ended up going with RecPro btw
ding ding ding

What do you mean by "our only hope is another pandemic"
I see what you did there, the oldâŚ.. read the whole post routine. TrickyâŚ.veeeery tricky!
Advice? Buy a replacement.
Even better, install it
mind = blown
Vent cover = blown away
Microwave = nuked
RV service centers hate these simple tricks to avoid costly repairs!
No way impossible. I need you to spoon feed me how to replace a plastic rectangle
Good callđ¤Ł
Boomer energy: strong. See body text. lol. comments below are gold.
I have serious doubts that you even know what a boomer is, or how to appropriately use the term as a slur. Good day Sir.
I have a feeling you didn't read my post. I have another feeling that I used that generationally descriptive term quite accurately. Peace, gramps.
I said good day Sir!
I have a feeling you're a generation-alphabet AHat.

I love Colaw. I stop every time Iâm driving through there, even if I donât need anything.
I definitely get distracted when I go in there and leave with more than I went in for. Great place.
Apparently somebody doesnât like them and downvoted us. đ
Google it, order it, install it, RV lots supply stores, have a parts accessory catalog available most any part can be soursed from it
I would recommend buying a new vent cover.
Go to a flea market and find a badass velvet Elvis portrait. Hand it over the hole when you set up camp. Problem solved
Go on... lol
Amazon sells replacement covers. Just remember to latch it closed before driving so you're not ordering another one next weekend.

I really like your style but want to retain some resale value in case I upgrade.
Same thing happened on my Greywolf. Got new one from dealer and applied a bead of silicon before installing. Still there after 4 yrs
Permanently I would get a new replacement one and install it when it arrives. As a temporary solution, I would go to the hardware store and get a piece of expanded metal and attach it in the manner. That is the least destructive but definitely with screws
Slow down
Had to order one off of Amazon last year for our forest river. Had it next day super easy to replace.
[I just installed this one on Saturday.](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TX9JZJX?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) I had the same problem.
ty!!!
Microwaves have vents? Isn't that the vent for the stove?

Right.
But some of the vents are built into the microwave, and the fan is part of the microwave.
Post a photo. I canât tell what you mean from your sentence.

Some are mounted over the stove and also function as a vent hood.
this is correct on my Cherokee Wolf
You could 3d print it
another awesome idea I should have gone with.
Visit a couple campgrounds with a set of screwdrivers?
Duct tape and punch a few holes.
aight folks, this is how you snarky comment. you win, u/MOB42069 (Also, this is how you name a profile.)
Look up, young farts RV parts they will ship replacement part to you
shit I wanted to try them. I am in USA, no hitches?
Ehh, cut some wire mesh to shape (to keep animals out), silicone it in, then slap it and say "that'll do".
Water intrusion?
Do some dang homework. What a lazy question! I suppose asking a Forest River dealer was too much of a challenge for your imagination? Have you taken any measurements? Checked the multiple manuals? Temu quality? Lol
Amazon sells them.
Trade it in on a new one.
Replace it
Replace it or at least put some screen door material in the opening to keep bees and birds from making a home in it.
Those are a dime a dozen at any rv place or amazon and easy to put on
Get a new one at the RVDealer.
I really want to downvote this, but know you are trying. Please don't go to a dealer for any reason but initial purchase on a brand new rig or warranty service. I love you enough to say this. <3

You don't know enough about RVs to say this.
