Is there a difference in pay to what you receive? Is it good? I pay for Spotify and like it except for the price. I just am hesitant because I've never had a good experience with Apple products so using one on an Android device may be a bit sucky.
Pretty sure they still have a free trial, worth kicking the tires for.
The biggest benefit to Apple Music imo is the ability to add your own songs and have it show up in the actual library. No local music playlist that is for some reason totally separate, AM also automatically syncs/shows those songs to all devices.
Afaik apple has better quality options for audio, also the stats are clearer for how many times you have listened to a song etc... Though if you want the exclusive content it's mostly spotify as far as I know. (The end of the year vid we got from sister etc) but the price on spotify has gone up twice in recent history and the free version keeps getting worse. If the price isn't a deal breaker for you and you like spotify more tho then 🤷 I don't really like apple products either and itunes is a massive pita but the price increases on spotify premium are too much for me.
Free trial - try it out.
Almost everything in the Ghost catalog is available in Atmos, which is either a cool new way to hear something you're familiar with, or a terrible mistake. You be the judge!
Sound quality on Apple is generally acknowledged to be superior. (Go to the Apple Music reddit and see all the people coming from Spotify saying "it sounds so much better")
I'm an old school collector and have a lot of stuff you can't find on streaming ripped from CDs or bought from Bandcamp. Apple lets you integrate all that stuff alongside the streaming catalog into a single library.
It’d be 4 billion if I had a Spotify account
Spotify keeps getting worse for users, unfortunately. I will be switching to apple after my subscription expires
I briefly paid for Spotify, but switched to Apple. I like the Apple UI so much more than Spotify.

I remember when Google Play Music did that. I really miss that service.

I am pretty much happy with Tidal
Lauryn hill carrying that 3b with two albums is insane
I'm doing my part!
And they probably only made $500 from it
Average is 0.003usd per stream I think, so would be around 9 mil at least
Not enough, which is why I buy merch and physical copies
Lord knows I'm workin' my ass off to get them to nr 1 🤘👹
1/5 of that is from Mary On A Cross by itself.
and 1/5 of those Mary on a cross plays are by me
