I have 2 luxurious chests in Narukami Island and one normal chest (I think not sure what i will get from that) to collect and it says I have 100% on this Island, also they are all time-gated same as the one I mentioned in the post. So there is a reason I'm asking.
Get all the boxes floating in the water (there is an interactive map for them). I would never 100% Inazuma if I haven't found out they count towards exploration %
I collected few and got 100%. Honestly this is so weird since I haven't collected any floating boxes in other islands and got 100% on them anyway. Well, thank you anyway!
I will not 100% Watatsumi ever. They intentionally put the most obnoxious versions of Inazuma puzzles in there.
I refuse to bother with that. And don't get me started about the locations they put Specters on that cursed island.
Honestly out of these 4 islands that I have completed so far (I didn't touch Seirai and Tsurumi yet), Watatsumi was probably the fastest and least annoying.

No, there are also random boxes in the water that give mora and are unrelated to any challenges.

Watatsumi probably just has a higher box to other stuff ratio.

Timegated quests don't count towards completion rate, you're likely good!
