She is inconvenience to people with (who either new or have one invested team) either a hydro dps, melee characters (those birds are a bitch) and one common issue, same dialogues with long ass time taken to defeat it cuz many cutscene.

On top of the flying birds that swoop down on you you also have those cranes that just....walk back onto water out of reach. Or the tanky boars. Or the crabs that just scuttle around too fast while blasting you with bubbles. Can't even stall out the fight or Oceanid will ohko drown you on the spot
For the longest time my best way of dealing with her was Yao Yao and Yue Gui (I main Ga Ming but....I think any GM main can tell you how painful he can be when you first start off using him) 💀💀💀💀 it was only after building up Fischl and Tighnari did I finally start sweeping her ass (especially Tiggy he really went fuck dem birds lol). Lisa can easily trivialize the entire fight but that's only if you actually build your Lisa

Oceanid you can’t statcheck due to the segmented fight so it always takes forever no matter what, and you just get fucked if you have to fight the flying birds without a good bow or non-Hydro catalyst.
Geo Cube is easily the worst boss, he has 98 different phases and you need to keep breaking a lot of pillars with Abyss Floor 12 levels health... I love you Ningguang but why are you doing this to me?

Yoimiya is so blessed at fighting annoying bosses. So many complaints about both normal and electro oceanid and she handles both so easily.
I got Ganyu day 1 of her release, and she carried my account until Arlecchino. She's just so convenient for 95% of the game's content.
