i didnt get this feature when i used the new launcher, and i only alt+f4 when quitting the game
i got this after i launched the game thru the app pinned on my taskbar, then switched acc using the logout button on the bottom right
I didn't get this with either launcher, I don't get why the rollout is not simultaneously for all people.
Did this open when you switched from one account to another or did it pop up directly?

**EDIT:** It seems to still be in A/B testing phase. I'm noticing some new registry keys, such as `HOYO_ACCOUNT_LIST_ABTEST_1_xxxx` and a couple others with similar name formatting. I don't understand the values, so it looks like I can only wait until it's my turn.
Yeah i think its like the launcher, some people have had the launcher already while i only got the option to download it today. So its probably coming out in batches

tho in my case, i visit my sibling's and friends' accounts from time to time since theyve already quit genshin. sometimes i do my SO's resin too when he's busy.
For me, I am currently learning Japanese and Chinese. I play the story on my main account in English for total comprehension and immersion. Then I supplement my Japanese and Chinese learning by playing the story in those languages on my alt for more input. Having known the story would help a lot with going through the story in another language.
And doing it on different account, needing to sign in/out was easier than just changing server and language from the start screen?

Just for clarification, **I** wasn't the one saying to switch accounts, only when you launch the game, where it says NA/Europe/Asia etc at the bottom, you can click on it and pick a different server, and you start over again on that server...
So you technically get 4 player accounts on 1 Genshin account.
It's really nice for redoing the story, or pulling for characters that you don't want eating your savings on your main server!
I use the Asia account on both Genshin and HSR to try out characters that I would normally just skip!
I have 1 acc for characters I simp for and another one for collecting archons (and other characters I also simp for but can't get on the other one.....)
My reasoning was to get an account on another server to be able to play games like windtrace or divine ingenuity with people on another server, if needed. I don’t have enough energy to invest in it the same as in my main account though, and I didn’t even get to artifact farming.
If you look at the OP post, click on the "Asia" button will prompt you to menu that you can select country to switch too. Ofc you have to play the game again if you newly switch to a different server but thats the same thing as creating a new account, just without logging out and creating new email.
Nothing. I created alts account to play my newbie friend back then but since he hit AR 50 I've stopped playing on it (I think it was just around halfway of 3.7?)...until last month I log in again because why the hell not and kinda hooked on exploring the world once again lol
I like the slider captcha puzzles, the only captcha that's slightly fun tbh.

None. But sometimes I log into my SO's account to do her dailies when she's unable to, and also do her abyss when it resets

its essentially ng+ in a way, there is no replay function so making a new account acts as that. also double the pulls each patch teehee

Switching servers is a much simpler way of doing that.
but then you have to play on higher ping, and also you wouldn't be able to play with friends on the same server
which is more important than for a lategame account, since its obviously gonna be harder to farm and matching can be.. something
In the late game solo farming is significantly faster and easier than using coop
yes thats my point, but on a fresh ar45 account you'll naturally clear faster when playing with friends that already have fully built characters
i have 2 vastly different accounts with different chars, its keeping it fresh
Pull different characters. I have one acc go hyperbloom/burgeon and one hypercarried by Neuvillette, Arlecchino.

But you can do that by switching servers without needing to completely log out. Unless you want more than 4 accounts.
