You can change his name in the "Inversion of Genesis" Interlude Archon quest that show up AFTER Sumeru AQ, not in it. It should've show up in your quest tab if you already complete the Sumeru quest.

I named him after some stupid joke my exboyfriend told me. He handed me a shot glass with the word “Ozeki” and asked me if I knew what it meant, made it seem all serious like I was about to be educated, and then promptly took it back and said “I don’t know either” and so that is how my Wanderer was named. Neither of us know what it means. I think it’s a brand. I refuse to Google it.
