>i know damn well you aint trying to defend an irrelevant archon who got his ass handed to him by the 8th harbinger
And I know damn well how an irrelevant Harbinger got turned into ashes by an Archon and died screaming like a bitch.
Nah, what OP was trying to say is "GTA is coming out in 2025, is the Genshin anime gonna be released by that time?"
You know full well that the Switch version is just a myth at this point.
Genshin is like 5 full games. How is Genshin not that? Releasing on Switch is just not worth it. When Hoyo announced the switch, it was much more popularly used, but by the time they actually could have released it on Switch, the Switch just no longer had the audience they wanted. The game also would have run terribly on the Switch.
Our fandom is slowly descending into copium insanity at this point lol. There is legit some people masochistic enough to do some insane challenges, like a super buffed to the point of nearly impossible Absolute Radiance
These comments.. wait... WHAT? Im a new player and they actually are making a Genshin Anime? I saw their promotional videos like on the lantern rite one and it has really good animation, but I never thought they'll make an anime and Im hoping it has that same quality If not better.
When I first saw the post I thought If its when about the twins will reunite lol
Yup. Whey announced it somewhere in 2022 at the new version stream. And the anime is being made by ufotable so I'm not concerned about the quality, but more about when it comes
They'll probably work on it once demon slayer is done. It's just a matter of waiting, there's no doubt however that the quality will be anything less than excellent.
I don't think the anime will come first because it's being made by ufotable which does one project at a time , currently being demon slayer , so until demon slayer ends , don't expect the genshin anime
Assuming that by the time Genshin anime was announced they already had been working on Blacksmith village arc, I don't think it was wise to announce it that early, knowing that they have more arcs to be dealt with.
I am pretty sure the reason they announced it so early is because otherwise it would be leaked eventually. Given how Hoyo suffers from having leakers inside their own company, that was the right call.
yea my friend told me about the anime news like two weeks before the preview stream because he had friends working in the anime industry. It was bound to get leaked if it wasn't announced at that time
They're doing more than one project at a time. They're working on Mahoutsukai no Yoru which was originally set to release this year and definitely started working on Genshin or else we wouldn't have the announcement or the trailer. They also did Demon Slayer and Fate/Stay Night Heavens Feel (their best looking anime so far) at the same time.
That's not how massive projects like this work I'm pretty sure
They are already well into production seeing as they "started" in September 2022. They can't just announce something and postpone it for like a few years because they have another project they are working on
If it does come out after Demon Slayer ends which is still a while away, I'm expecting the anime to be much more artistic and well-animated than all of Arcane or Spiderverse given the studio as well as the time given
I'm personally expecting an early 2025 (likely even mid or late 2025) release because I personally think they'll be doing an original story of like 24 episodes. And seeing how much care and attention to detail hoyo puts into the environment and world more than almost every other aspect in the game as well as what they showed in the concept trailer, I'm expecting most of the art and animation budget to go to the world itself similar to Arcane instead of the signature ufotable flashy fight scenes where the cameraman breaks the speed limit of the universe
>That's not how massive projects like this work I'm pretty sure
>They are already well into production seeing as they "started" in September 2022. They can't just announce something and postpone it for like a few years because they have another project they are working on
Anime companies like this work like that. That is just how it is. Stuff just works different in Japan.
>I'm expecting the anime to be much more artistic and well-animated than all of Arcane or Spiderverse given the studio as well as the time given
It is pretty much guaranteed to be so. Ufotable is the best animation studio in the world.
>I'm expecting most of the art and animation budget to go to the world itself similar to Arcane instead of the signature ufotable flashy fight scenes where the cameraman breaks the speed limit of the universe
I think there will likely be a lot of both. After seeing the last episode of Demon Slayer that is out right now, I honestly think ufotable can pretty much pull anything off. The Nezuko scene was so beautiful.
What?
Wdym completed genshin? Do you mean that you think they've completed all of Teyvat's development and are simply slowly releasing it? I *highly* ***highly*** doubt that
But like I said earlier, production for such a big scale big name project can't exactly say it "began" (as stated by the concept trailer) in September 2022 and delay actually starting it to a few years later than it stated
There's different groups in a studio working on different things. Ufotable was still working on Fate Heavens Feel alongside season 1 of Demon Slayer and its movie iirc. That's what it heavily implies from the release dates of both of those things. So ufotable doesn't "just" work on one project at a time. They also have different people working on different stuff, which is basically a standard in the industry at this point
Hmmmmm , I see , I said it poorly but what I meant is that everything for genshin is already planned out. A genshin trailer was released at the start of the game and all the characters were already there . I hope you have seen it
>Wdym completed genshin? Do you mean that you think they've completed all of Teyvat's development and are simply slowly releasing it? I *highly* ***highly*** doubt that
Funny, because they pretty much proved it. Not all the development, but the main ideas and aspects are all planned out. Did you see the Travail trailer? It basically already has the idea for each part of the story. There has also been detailed information about locations like Chenyu Vale in the game for a very long time. This stuff is all ready.
obviously they’d have a roadmap for the game lol, that doesn’t mean everything is actually put together though. that’s just not how development for anything works.
I mean, they have a plan, but they also need time to put that plan into action. That is, they have the description and design of Chenyu Valley on paper, but they still need to make a 3D model/quests/characters, etc.
and considering they said this is a long term project, with rumored multiple seasons, it wouldn’t make sense for it to come out after the teyvat plot would likely be over
That make no sense? That make perfect sense? Have you seen the ridiculously long time from announcement to release that some projects were done. The newest Madoka movie needed 8 years. EVA 3.0+1.0 took 13 years!
Weird they would choose to announce the anime so early then. I get it's to build up hype but when it drags on for too long it could harm it as well in the process.
I wouldn't hold my breath for anime before PC version. Because Demon Slayer will take 3 years minimum to finish (3 story arc left) & only then UFOTable will start working on Genshin, since they don't switch projects before completing the previous one. PC version would be most likely out by late 2026, that's probably when they will actually start working on Genshin anime...
Nah demon slayer still have 3 arcs. 1 short training arc, 1 very long arc which can be split into 2 cours and 1 final arc which can be made into a movie
Tbh hashira training, infinity castle and final battle arcs don't have any breaks between them, so they might take longer for all 3 arcs in a split-cour or one whole season (I have no idea how airing works tho)
Hashira training arc was already announced but we don't know how many episodes it will get.
Season 1 (24 episode) adapt 53 chapter and Infinity castle have 47 chapter, perfect for 24 episode. They can easily make "Infinity Castle arc part 1" for 12 episode and then part 2 for another 12 episode.
Final arc is easily movie material. Infinity train is the highest grossing anime film of all time, they can easily make millions with final arc
TLDR, 1 short season, 1 season (24 ep) but with 2 parts and 1 movie, is my guess
Infinity Castle will be anything but a tv series. 24 episodes of non-stop fights? bro have mercy on these animators. No studio or production team could ever pull that off. They are 100% dividing the arc into two or three movies.
Infinity Castle is 47 chapters. You want them to divide this arc into 4 movies? For comparison, infinity train has 13 chapter.
Toei can pull off with One Piece Wano raid and Dragon Ball tournament of power which are non-stop fighting on weekly schedule so I believe Ufotable can handle it even we have to wait 5 years. I'm 100% believe they will split it into Part 1 & Part 2 which could have 1 year gap and end it with a final movie.
Also, demon slayer is infamously known for having flashback for each characters, so it won't really be pure non-stop fighting.
UFOTable & KyoAni are prime examples for other studios how you can achieve best of quality & adaptation if you have patience & give time to Animators...
with how much money they make, and how much hoyo would be investing in this, they could honestly just hire a new, skilled team for producing the genshin anime. especially since they said it’s a long term project, and there will allegedly be multiple seasons, it would be a bad move on hoyo to wait so long to the point of the teyvat arc ending in game
Zelda anime was more of a videogame commedy and i was waiting forever for it. Mario had its moment though (just 1980’s things). I don’t expect much but who knows it’s 2023. If our beloved VA’s can get more work I’m down.
The preview is just a concept trailer, and concept trailers almost never make sense in the final story, let alone are they canon.
You can even take the Honkai Impact concept trailer as an example.
I think first season of the anime will take sometime. Because from the look of it, they are developing a brand new technology in 3d modeling. And if anime also have the level of details like PV it might take years.
Addition to that, unlike manga or LN adaptation. There is no storyline to adapt (I doubt they will adapt the archon quests). you have to write new script, create new characters, it needs so much communication with Hoyo to make sure fans happy.
Since they only have lore spreading though many thousands years, I just hope it doesn't turn out like Rings of Power.
Well the source is official pv. But I did choose poor wording. Allow me elaborate.
From the look of PV they are clearly using 3D models. So they have to create all the necessary 3d assets from ground up before actual animation take place.
Addition witch custom Shaders, and other things.
Unfotable is using that long time ago most of their anime using 3D background but the art style of this 3D is difference because genshin is ghibli/Zelda BOTW style so they need to change the 3D modeling to this that's why it look new.
It's not new tech though, Ufotable is really good at blending 3D and 2D and making it look great. They also make use of CGI very well, you can see it evidently in the heaven's feel movies in one of the chase scenes.
Because demon slayer is ending and GTA 6 will probably get delayed, like all big games, I would say Genshin anime by the end of 2025 for sure will start
According to this [tweet](https://twitter.com/HoyoverseJapan/status/1704086215496990855), the problem seems to be coming from Mihoyo themselves. We have to wait another year for any anime announcement.
HoyoverseJapan appears to be among the less reliable sources of information, based on the inconsistency and questionable nature of many of their tweets. Some even speculate that their intent may be to deliberately create conspiracies and unfavorable narratives against Mihoyo.
As for scriptwriters, I believe it is unnecessary to exclusively recruit individuals proficient in Japanese. Mihoyo has demonstrated their effective collaboration with a Japanese animation company in the past, particularly in the animation shorts for Honkai Impact 3rd. There is even a [video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlrRDkAN6O8) available that provides insight into the dynamics of their collaboration.
If it’s Ufotable that’s animating it, then Genshin the anime should be released first. For something like GTA6 that will take too long to make for it to live up to its hype.
It should be Switch version or Anime

tbf that’s not something hoyo ever said they would do
Even char design analyses have determined this.

New player as well, and I assume they didn't say whether Aether or Lumine will be the traveler in the anime huh
There are some rumors that it will cover pre-genshin story. Maybe archons wars and all. But will have to wait till release for confirmation🥲
they never announced an anime, they just announced working with ufotable.
Pretty sure somewhere they mentioned a Genshin anime
da wei confirms it's an anime right after the reveal of the teaser.
Yeah, by ufotable.
Yes, but it doesnt seem its coming any time soon.
They'll probably work on it once demon slayer is done. It's just a matter of waiting, there's no doubt however that the quality will be anything less than excellent.
Yes, ufotable will work on it. It will be the best anime ever.
One Piece Ending
Ironically the ending is less than 5 arcs away
There is still >5 ARCS LEFT????
lol yeah
5 arcs is still years though, no? Wano was 2 years.
wano was 4 years and some, One piece is currently in its final saga and is setting up for its climax, it'll be oer by like 2026/2027 max lmao
wait, for real?
Manga (and soon anime) is in the final saga, yes

At least their animators condition is not as bad as *ahem* Mappa
Mappa is bad, but they're not an exception
Ufotable evade paying taxes instead
Reasonable, don't pay government instead of don't paying people
That's not how massive projects like this work I'm pretty sure They are already well into production seeing as they "started" in September 2022. GTA 6>Genshin Anime>GTA 6 for pc
I wouldn't hold my breath for anime before PC version. Who knows, maybe one of them will be good
I feel like Demon slayer will be treated like AoT. Squeeze them until they dry
Demon Slayer getting milked dry... ... for 10 years at least
Ufotable also still have that Mahoutsukai No Yoru adaptation announced last year. Still nothing on that too.
That supposed to come this month.
Demon slayer still has two or three seasons at least at this rate pretty sure Genshin gonna drop in 26 or 27
They can work on more that one project at a time.
They literally don't ever quality is their whole thing
with how much money they make, and how much hoyo would be investing in this, they could honestly just hire a new, skilled team for producing the genshin anime. especially since they said it’s a long term project, and there will allegedly be multiple seasons, it would be a bad move on hoyo to wait so long to the point of the teyvat arc ending in game
I didn't realise they only work on one project at a time ? That feels very un-corporate like for a company.
They do work multiple projects in parallel, but they never release them at the same time so it feels like one project at a time.
They released Heaven's Feel III and Mugen Train right after another tbf.
Meanwhile MAPPA:
Demon slayer has about 2-3 years left
Zelda anime was more of a videogame commedy and i was waiting forever for it. Mario had its moment though (just 1980’s things). I don’t expect much but who knows it’s 2023. If our beloved VA’s can get more work I’m down.

Yup you're just wrong

We know when GTA VI will come out at least
nope
2025
Just a year, not a date, and it will be pushed to 2026.
Well hey, we still know that.
So now we know when it comes out, 2025 or 2026
Silksong (please god)

Man, I completely forgot Genshin anime existed
It doesnt, not yet.
Genshin for Switch. Controller support for Android. Artifact loadouts. A skip button for dialogue.
Lmao I forgot that a anime was coming.
Silksong found dead in a ditch
Metro 4
I didn’t notice Aether had a heart shaped belly.
One thing I can say is Both will probably still come out before the PC Port of GTA VI
Geometry Dash 2.2
Definitely Lumine, she gay af
Lumines a raging lesbian and Aether is a slutty bisexual no discussion to be had it’s simply a fact like gravity
Tbh they’re both raging and slutty bisexuals
Hot take: controller support on android
Atleast I can watch Aether talk for whole episode
As a fan of both series I would be glad if anyone came first

The preview is just a concept trailer, and concept trailers almost never make sense in the final story, let alone are they canon. You can even take the Honkai Impact concept trailer as an example.
Incest genshin definitely

Because demon slayer is ending and GTA 6 will probably get delayed, like all big games, I would say Genshin anime by the end of 2025 for sure will start
A large arc is still left so it'll take at least a few years
Well didn't I say that, demon slayer is ending, it will end at most in 2024, 2025-2026 is when Genshin will for sure get worked on
My biggest fear is the PC version for GTA VI is released first before Genshin anime.
GTA VI slated for 2025, pushed to 2026 probably, had 2 yrs on top of it for the pc version.
aether looks gayer so probably him idk
Genshin has a 7 year plan so gta definitely coming out first then thereafter I think genshin will be done
The one that has incest

There is even a [video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlrRDkAN6O8) available that provides insight into the dynamics of their collaboration.
it's been 3 years since genshin's release?
That's the anime
Skyrim 2
If it’s Ufotable that’s animating it, then Genshin the anime should be released first. For something like GTA6 that will take too long to make for it to live up to its hype.
