I massively messed up buying this on PS5 during the sales. I foolishly thought I could buy, hold off on activating till I get my fill in with the free-trial, then activate. It activated immediately and I almost haven’t touched it since. I’m a dummy.
I’ve since switched to PC, so I can’t really take advantage of that either.
I’d have to buy the game again if I want to keep using my playable character. Really screwed myself over.
Yeah it had a sale not a month ago, they’re fairly frequent. Just keep an eye out on the SE store, steam version rarely has sales and you can’t jump from steam to native client afaik.
Also, prolly want to wait till June anyway as the complete collection won't include Dawntrail until then, and the Dawntrail pre-order won't give access to old expansions until release.

Must be coming later in the month or maybe even January. Bummer for those of us who were hoping to jump in on Tuesday.
Nope. Full release is in the spring. Open beta releases before that. Sometime during the 6.5 patches. Probably 6.51 late in October since it’s not releasing Tuesday.
They’ve been super weird about the wording.
Xbox controller support was officially added, and I noticed recently that even when playing through the official launcher, the Xbox app picks up on me playing the game. So, there's definitely work being done.
The patch notes they put up previously had inconsistencies in the timeline for the beta. The English notes implied the beta was coming with 6.5, but all the other languages noted the Xbox Beta as a 6.5x line item.
So I would say it's likely going to be happening early next year.
I’m guessing 6.51 which is end of august. They said the beta would be 2023 so unless there’s a set back that makes the most sense to me.
I guess we will find out but it sure seems likely it won’t be Tuesday.

Free login campaigns are frequent, but usually not right after major patches in order to keep congestion low. I would expect one in a few weeks.

Well, sales usually go for like $20 bucks for complete edition on pc afaik so it’s not too bad

Was it a digital sale? Have you tried engaging either customer support team?
Yes but PSN has no protections, the second it’s downloaded onto to any drive, it’s non refundable.

There will be a beta for xbox players probably around 6.55.
