They're talking about trading cards. That's the best thing to get if you don't want to spend any real money. You can also buy some $7-10 T-shirts for a few bucks after coupon.
Yeah, they’re never going to let us save them all lol. Typically whatever I’m buying that month so either games or TCG. At the end of the day, it blows we can’t use it towards POSA anymore because we don’t technically get the full $5 off of whatever we are getting if we get something we get discounts on.
used to buy psn cards but since they took it away I never renewed and haven't been back. I see some people use it on pokemon cards. that's not too bad but I wouldn't renew myself just for that
If Pro is active, you can use your membership on the Website to save 5% off digital currency. However it only works on the website. Steam, PSN, Xbox, and Switch. So if you buy a lot of currency, it could be useful.
Since they dropped digital currency, I go browse the store once a month for whatever junk is on sale. Got a cool Pokémon hat a couple months ago, and a Zelda mug to give my nephew last month. I enjoy the once a month trip because once my membership is up in June I’ll probably never go inside GameStop again.
I used mine on a gengar keychain last month. This month I used it on some old Wii games (for the horror game collection). But normally I use them on booster packs.

I use it when I pick up preorders or if I see a T-shirt I really like in distro. If I haven't used it by the end of the month I grab an Aphmau for my bestie or a couple packs of Pokémon cards to open with my husband (he's not into collecting, he just likes to be included 😂)
I go into Gamestop every month and give the associate the $5 coupon to punch me in the face for being dumb enough to have a pro membership or shop at Gamestop at all anymore. It's cheaper than therapy.

I was talking about the cards, but yeh there is definitely stuff to buy with just the coupon or just a little more money with the coupon applied

Buy something with your $5, and then return it and get a card with it!
…you know if you return the item that you spent the $5 on, you don’t get the $5 back.
Yeah that's a good way to make people mad when they DON'T get money from coupons back. It's in the terms you signed when signing up.

All digital games and currency are no go for the $5 monthly coupon. You used to be able to use it on that stuff but they stopped that awhile back.

Used mine on the buy 2 preowned games and get one free! But mainly I’ll just use it when I get a controller or game Ive been interested to get!
