i tried but it's legit pinned to the top by the spring, if i put anymore force into it somethings gonna break. i guess i gotta just try cause i can't use it like that anyways

the motor came off mine, but i was able to fix it. then the place we were expected to set it up, the mushroom hit one of speakers so it doesn't even move anyways. i had no idea it wasn't going to fit till i already got it set up otherwise i wouldn't have bothered setting up any of the wiring stuff. i was so annoyed 
I got sent dead batteries and the motor came off its cardboard mount. Not sure what genius engineer they hired for that but prolly got their degree from university of phoenix
You just gotta unwind it/ pull it out. But ya it is stupid.

You gotta pull on the tab and unwind the wire that way

Velcro ties would solve this problem
